bought a groupon ($30 for unlimited 6pm-midnight) thinking it was a great deal 50% off. We were fairly disappointed when we went: 1. The place is pretty empty. When we got there at 6pm, we were the only people there. Eventually two other groups of people arrived, but I thought it would be more packed if they say it's one of the best go karting places. The ad definitely did a lot of fluffing; it's not as great as the description or pictures seem. 2. Location is hard to find. The first time we went, we got lost and we were an hour late. not only roads have 2 names, but entrance wasn't clear, and you don't see the kartway sign until you drive all the way to the end of the parking lot and around the corner. 3. Because location was hard to find, we were an hour late (7pm). When we got there, people booked their time slots and we had to wait almost 2 hours for the next heat. Since bookings are first come first serve, we couldn't book it in advance. Sucks because we had to plan another day to come again. 4. Staff is friendly, but they seemed bored of doing the same thing. It sucked for me because as we were getting ready for our first lap, they told me i wasn't tall enough to ride in the senior karts (even with two booster seats), meaning i couldn't ride with my friends and i had to race alone. or i could get a refund. sucked either way, so i watched my friends do a lap. It was after a while where they were able to find that i could fit in one of the smaller the senior karts. Karts weren't smooth, but i guess it's better than not racing at all. 5. Karts are not all the same speed. I went in kart #15 and #6, and they're both jerky, and bumpy. you would press the gas, nothing happens unless you press it really hard. maybe it's just me, but the break pedals aren't very sensitive either. 6. Helmet wise, we had to wear a red hairnet underneath. That wasn't an issue, but I have a small head, and the smallest helmet they had (junior, medium) was too big for me! when i was racing, the bottom of the helmet would be where my nose is at. Had to constantly pull it down. After an hour, we were pretty much done. It's a small race track, maybe 6 turns? I think i'd rather race a real car or go somewhere with more energy in the atmosphere. I gave it a 2 star and not a 1 because service was decent and we came here for karting and that's what we got. But overall experience is not very impressive, even with the discount. All in all, i'm not coming back here. read more

I'm STILL a fan because what I'm about to say will even the stars out a bit. The BAD was that when assigned starting positions, it is not an option which cart you get to sit because I keep wanting to be in front or behind my buddy within a group of 4-5 of us and was pretty much dependant on us to WAVE others past so we can be racing against each other instead of having someone else inbetween our action. The GOOD is that on Monday[2 for 1($29.00)] it was relatively quiet so around 9pm we were pretty much the only group as the place close at midnight and other patrons were families that only did a SINGLE race or the 2 for 1 deal while my group went for UNLIMITED. The downside is that the tracks and carts are relatively unused, therefore not all carts will have that same performance and TRACTION. Especially if you race within the first few races of the place opening 5:30pm, then it's guaranteed that you will SKID all over as both the tires and track are fresh. Hope that helps! read more

The first time we went we had a group of ten people for a bachelor party and the second time a group of six. The staff was fantastic. There is a slight learning curve with getting used to the cart and the race track, but you will learn to manuver by the 3rd or 4th lap. I came in with full expectations of having a great time. Unfortunately, it did not end up that way. We came in with a group of 5, with me being the only person who has done Kart racing before. After our first race, we were greeted by the facility manager, Jamilton. I thought he was going to greet us with words of inspiration, congratulations, and/or advice. What ended up happening was one of the more demeaning and rude conversations I have ever had. He said we were the worst group he has ever witnessed racing and proceeded to berate each one of us. As for me, he said I was "slightly better" than the rest of my group. For real? I was driving perfectly, but I was only slightly better than the worst he has ever seen? The issues that we had? Let's all remember that my friends were driving for the first time in race karts, and the facility manager acknowledged them as beginners as well. One person initially was not used to the acceleration at the start and slightly bumped the person in front at the very beginning. The girls in the group were not used to the stiff steering wheels so they slightly glazed the sides during the first few laps. The last person did not have his foot over the brakes, which they stopped everyone and notified him. Great, that was during the first few laps for beginners. They were perfectly driving the rest of the way, even moderately slowly and safely. So for that, the facility manager, instead of greeting us with words of inspiration and maybe a little caution for things to come, blasted us like we were less than human and threatened to kick us out. We were not rude or rowdy, just a friendly group trying to have some fun. Needless to say, it ruined our mood for the rest of the night. It seemed a lot like discrimination. Subsequent groups were far, far worse offenders than we were. One group had people continually hitting the wall hard and crashing head on into the wall. The people in that group kept crashing into each other throughout the race. Even one person was turned sideways from the crashing one time. What happened to them? Nothing! The facility manager did not say one word, maybe because they were an all white group. Other groups had crashes continuously as well, with 360 degree turns due to crashes. What happened? Manager kept sitting at the register. I have gone to race karts before, and this facility and the employees just do not compare. The employees seemed depressed and bored. They seem like they did not want to work there. They did not have a smile on their faces and spoke very unemotionally. As for the facility, they only have one track. Other facilities I have gone to had at least 2 tracks. Furthermore, the pavement is uneven, with many cement patch-ups. It makes for a really bumpy drive. Also, they do not have a good system of lining up the drivers. I always had the best time in the group, but they always placed me back. I had to continually try to pass people before I had the open road to drive freely. I really wanted to feel good about this activity; however, I am really disappointed to have to feel this bad after an evening that was supposed to be fun. read more

Customer service was pretty good the last time I went, the karts are fun to drive & fast, the track is nice and curvy and challenging, and the price isn't bad. Last week was the 2nd time I went for unlimited racing there, and the groups I raced against were quite a bit more challenging than the first time. The first time, I was in 1st place nearly every race :-D We came on the previous day (Tuesday) hoping to use a voucher that expired on Wednesday, and were told that we wouldn't be able to race until more than half way through the time period allotted to the unlimited races due to an overlapping corporate event. We were however compensated nicely for this by being given a complimentary race on Tues, and returned on Wed to use our vouchers. We found the staff to be pretty friendly including the owner who made conversation and would refer to us by name. The race cars vary in performance as some are faster than others, however for some reason I kept getting the faster one as compared to my friends. One of the guys I met there was really good at skillfully not allowing anyone to pass him, which was fun too. They are however electric, so there's no exhaust smell, and they are faster than gas ones I've driven as well. The track requires skill to be handled accordingly, so that was definitely a lot of fun too. I forgot my water bottle there, and I called them today asking if they've found it, so after not finding it in their lost & found, the guy on the phone took my number down saying they'll look for it and call em back. It's more than I would've expected. Based on all the factors I've mentioned, I'd definitely recommend Grand Prix Kartways and I'll very likely be returning to race there in a month or two. read more

Very depressing and bringing a child with us and letting him down isn't exactly what I am interested in. The mini go karts are more or less crappy as well. I have got to do this place some justice. We were pretty lucky when we went - got the track to race between ourselves. It was tons of fun and our times were approx 22 and 23 secs per lap. The karts are solid as they run at a decent speeds (I would say realistically 50-60 kph). I do not think it goes up to 80 kph as they state since I floored it without ever pressing the brake for a large stretch of the track. The only downside is the the indoor track is quite small and simple. It was a great experience nonetheless and I would definitely come back again! read more

Indoor car racing with a bar and kitchen. Parking is right next to the place to the right of unit 9. The best way to get there is through Sheppard W and a turn into Carl Hall Rd. The other roads are all closed. The Staff were amazing. The cars go quite fast, and it's definitely a risky race. Make sure your helmet and seatbelts are secured before zooming off. The staff were amazing. I hit the curb really hard during my final race and they all stopped the cars immediately. They rushed into my rescue without hesitation. Luckily, I was fined with a tiny laceration on the side of my tongue. I was told that this happens all the time and there was nothing to worry about. The atmosphere is quite casual and there are arcades and games to play while you wait for your next round. I bought the Groupon online and paid $30+ tax. It was definitely worth the try. read more

Upon reaching the counter the young lady Emma was not very friendly and would not honor the six hour coupon insisting it could only be used by a single child within the time although it was clear on the coupon that you are buying the time notwithstanding the number of users within the time. She called her manager Tracy who was even worse and suggested it was implicate that the coupon could only be used by one individual within the time. To make matters worst after I purchased for additional driver she made the kids wait for one hour and made them go at different times. There was no adult supervisor and the person they pointed to for setting the rules Anthony Romeo was not on site and could not be reached as the number provided ended back to Emma answering. I had a lot of fun!! It was my first time go karting, but my boyfriend (who accompanied me) was a seasoned expert. The building was very clean, since they are electric karts. Great acceleration, again because they're electric. The restaurant was pretty great. They were very accomodating for the fact that we had a race every 10 or 20 minutes, and made sure that our food came out just as we finished one race, and then heated up our food after we finished the next race (we could have waited to finish our meal to do another race, but we were too excited). And they always had a kart ready with a booster seat for me (I am very short). We were there from 6pm to nearly 11pm, and did unlimited races. Two of the karts did have malfunctions (i.e. running too slow), which took a bit of time to remedy during one of the races. read more

Walked in, seemed very inviting. Got in and the location was worn down and the go karting was not as advertised. It was indoors and a max speed of 25kmph. Unsafe environment with the instructor skipping through safety instructions. The waiver for the kids was poorly written and the staff was not cooperative. The manager came out and was first off very rude, and second didn't know how to talk to customers. The manager said, and I quote, "Are you gonna tell me how to run my business? Don't tell me what my rules are." One of the worst managers I have ever encountered. Learn to treat customers right, because that's how a business is run. No customers, no business. What an absolute disappointment. At first glance, this place looks like it's built for things to go wrong. The warehouse that this is located in is in the middle of bumblefuck. Inside, is a kitchen that makes questionable food, and a manager that can't seem to learn how to speak to customers. I definitely wont be going back, and highly suggest neither should you. Great indoor track. The karts are a little old, and the banners on the wall are of F1 drivers from the 2006 season (hey look, there's Sato!) but the dated décor can be forgiven, because the action on track really is good. Sure, they have remote controls to slow down karts of people demonstrate that they have the inability to drive, but for those of us who can drive, the competition is great. I have to reserve special praise for Big Dave (I think he's the manager). What a great guy. Something goes wrong, Dave fixes it. Not having a good time? Dave helps. Been here a handful of times, and I think we've always had a fantastic night. Just like anything else with certain risk involved, there are rules and expectations of the venue and the customers to be prepared. The website says everything you need to know about karting here. The crowds were smaller which meant more track time for my group. Beer was cold, staff was there... I mean, nobody wants to sit around and watch everybody else have fun all night, they rock. Room for improvement... Well, sure. It's a business. I keep hearing that the karts are capable of higher speeds, but they won't open them up for us. That's something I keep asking for, having demonstrated some ability over the years. Sometimes we've had to wait for a bartender to turn up, but if I walk 40' across the room I can get that person AND sign in for my next heat at the same time. Why would you bring a dog to go karting? That's goofy. The only complaint I've ever heard in person at this place, and I usually talk to most of the people I end up racing with... "Should be louder music playing". Not practical unless it's a private event. I don't want to listen to your techno, and you might not like my metallica. AND, if you read the site or listen to the karts, some people actually like the sound of....... CARS! and racing. So the solution to that is bring your own tunes and some headphones. Too bad about that helmet being too big, that's easily addressed. Place is awesome if you take a second to read, or consider what you're actually going to do. read more

This place really ticked me off. I'm an out of town visitor planning my best friend's bachelor party. He gives me strict instructions none of the usual stuff. So I plan for us to get a group out there for their unlimited karting Friday night. I call in advance. GM calls me back and tells me we can just show up for their unlimited (group of 6-7). Suggests this is no problem at all. $63/each and we race all night no problem. So what do we do? Exactly as stated! We show up around 10PM, after dinner and the like. Some of us got lost because the location is just horrible, signage is crap and you take a wrong turn and you're going down a dirt road. We all finally get there and they tell us there is a 1 hour and 40 minute wait. Oh btw, unlimited racing is only until mid-night. So basically we can race for 20 ish minutes. No one there gives two flying leaps about customer service, it was obvious. Gal behind the counter 'Oh, you talked to Alex, yeah sorry still have to wait'. Now if I was management I would have stated that all in advance. How many people were in front of us? Well there appeared to be all of 13-14 other customers in the place. From what I'm used to at Karting places this would have been considered a slow night, felt like the place was dead. What a classic screw up. You think any of those guys are coming back? Cars are dangerous, food is awful, service is slow, arcade is broken, pool table is ripped to shreds, track is hard to navigate and crashes happen 2-3 times per race. "All day unlimited pass" makes you wait 5 races between races. Overall bad experiences never going back. read more

I've went there a few times with my buddies and wife on the unlimited racing package! We've all had so much fun that we've now gone 3 times! Staff is nice just as long as you're not being stupid with the Karts and they've always been helpful in setting up heats for us. A few of the guys complain cause the karts aren't all the same speed. I don't think its that much of an issue, because even with real cars, they aren't all the same. It's a moot point to me but I can see that it could get really frustrating if you always got the slowest Kart. We also have a rule that if the car behind you is faster and you've been beat then you have to let them by. IE you can't try to take them into the wall. This will really help to keep the pace going. Overall it's a great deal for racing and you'll really enjoy yourself! We were a party of six on a Friday night, unlimited races 6pm to midnight. Called before and found that there was an event from 7:30 to 9:30, our expectations were set so we had no issue with that aspect. We ended up with 3 races between 6 and 7:30, and we were scheduled for 9:40 for the next race with the mention to be back by 9:10. Our race started 10:15, we kept being pushed back, customer service was way below par. Basically you would get the same "I don't care" answer no matter who you would ask for resolutions. The next scheduled race was after 11 and we ended up leaving because of the frustration. The racing course is nice, the cars are good but the service is what really makes you come back in a world of so many choices. And we will not get back. read more

- Staff are generally helpful - Clean, no gas fumes, bright, good electronic tracking of cars - Staff are very strict on bumping other cars, and will not hesitant to slow everyone down to clear cars or scold people - Cars are not as fast as some of the other gas powered indoor karts in the GTA, and grip levels are low. Easy to slide while pulling lower Gs through corners than other karts in GTA - Track design combined with lack of kart speed means very few chances to pass on this track. Expect to be stuck behind slow drivers for a while. It's very easy to drive defensively and block other drivers from passing. I could hold up the entire field behind me at will due to the crappy track design. Unlimited race deals are virtually useless when they are busy. It can easily be 1.5 hours between races, even on a weekday. Conclusion: This place has a lot going for it VS other GTA indoor tracks, but the racing simply doesn't reward skilled drivers due to track design, lower grip, and lower top speeds. Due to the racing being sub par, I can only give this 3 stars. It is my least favorite karts, and track design. The only indoor track design I've raced that was worse than this one was in Kansas, where they literally blue flagged slower cars to encourage passing. The only thing Kansas had going for it was their electric karts were faster and had better grip levels on track. So overall the racing here is not terrible, but it's certainly not great. read more

I've had a few races here already. The carts are fast but they have to unlock the speed first. They have 3 different power levels for the carts that they control remotely. Once, when there weren't many people there they unlocked it for me. The 1st turn I took, I spun out because of the extra power. After that I got used to it. The track is fun, but not very technical. Little opportunities for over taking and short. I wouldn't recommend it for enthusiast. read more

We purchased the $62 'unlimited' go karting pass. From arriving at 1:30 to leaving at 5:00, we were able to race twice. A race lasts less than 10 minutes. We scheduled our race at 1:40 and were able to actually race at 3:50 and 4:30. This left us wandering Downsview park for two hours. When we actually raced the go karts were highly inconsistent with some being significantly slower, having different traction, and different steering. The winner of the race is decided purely by position. This means that the first person out of the pits is likely the one who wins each time. Edit: You can only book two races, then book a following race after the completion of your final race (book 2, complete 2, book 1, complete 1, etc.) read more

Went here as part of a bachelor party through Groupon and we weren't impressed. The karts are described on their website as though they reach speeds of 85km an hour, which is misleading because the track is a lot smaller than it looks online so it is physically impossible to reach any speed close to that. They also claim that the carts have on board digital displays to give you info as you drive, that's a lie. A few people in our group were inexperienced and bumped each other or hit walls and since the carts are electric, the crew immediately limited the speed on their carts for the rest of the race so they lost. It also seemed that some karts were noticeably slower than others from the get go. The printer was down so we couldn't actually get print outs of our laps. When we asked the Manager he claimed that it was news to him but when we asked a staff member they told us it hadn't been working for days which made us question his integrity when combined with the Groupon issue detailed below. The system that tracked everyone's lap times was also messed up somehow and didn't give us the right times for everyone's laps which eliminated bragging rights. The Groupon deal was worded deceptively so that we raced for two races of about 10 laps each instead of the "Grand Prix" they described. We were expecting an actual qualifying lap, and then a full race with all of our friends for a decent amount of time. Instead our group got split into two groups of 5 and I guess they split the laps they advertised between us. We raced a couple qualifying laps each in separate groups and then two short races separately for each group. In the end, the "Grand Prix" was probably about 20 min of total racing time if that much. On a positive note the hairpin is really challenging and does severely change your times it would seem and there is a particular corner where you can go flat out, but it's only exciting because the track is so bumpy that your not sure if your kart will fall apart. Overall I'd rate it at 2 stars, it's better than the indoor gas powered karting available in the city (the fumes wont let you race for long), but I'd shop around before ever going here. read more

DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU ARE WHITE/CAUCASIAN!!! We brought 5 boys to this racetrack. They kept bumping our boys for no reason at all. The boys were given tickets for heat #19. They finished the race and we went back for more tickets - they had unlimited day passes - the girl at the counter gave us heats #27 and then #32. The boys were on heat #27 when they called #33 - we asked why they skipped #32 and they said the boys need to go get new tickets. We went to get new tickets and got heat #36. They called #34, #35 and then suddently went back to #28, 29, 30, 31, 33 AGAIN???? I went and asked the manager why the boys were bumped and he insisted it was because boys could not get two sets of tickets at once. This is NOT true - there was a lady who was sitting next to us - very pretty girl who was with her friends (two WHITE males). The men were in race #27 with our boys, then they were in race #33 and #35 - two races apart! If they cannot give anyone two sets of tickets, then why did the two men got tickets for 3 different races at the same time? They kept going and going and did not have to line up for tickets like we did. In fact, we did not see anyone line up to get tickets - just our boys. Something is seriously wrong and the only think I can think of is the fact that we are asians. When you run a business in Toronto, this is not the right way to do it. Waste of time and money. Slow small karts. Frustrating driving. Speed is remotely controlled, so it just like sitting in a SuperSlot car and waiting for somebody else to decide if you can speed, or even move. Radio Controlled speed would make sense if they really use it for safety or, at least, rightly. But it seems that this 'power' is in the wrong hands. I had high expectations for electric motor karting, willing to see high torque and fast acceleration. Nothing: worst than other gas karts tried in Toronto. I think they are DC motors, so I do not understand such a poor performance in acceleration. If you look for a carousel to spend some laps, may be a good place. If you have the intention of having fun, enjoy some speed and/or compete fairly against other drivers in the track, you better choose another place. read more

I have now had two experiences with GPK I cna speak about. One was mediocre and the other didn't even happen. 2 months ago I purchased some of the groupon tickets for a 6 hour day of racing and brought a group of friends down. The wait times between the races were ridiculous, in 5 hours we only got 4 races in. The service was terrible, the games in the arcade you use while waiting were all broken, the pool table and air hockey table work but are almost unusable. Despite the bad experience I had some friends who wanted to go and this is the only indoor gokarting place in Toronto that is (sort of) accessible by TTC. So looking on their facebook page I noticed GPK advertised the same Groupon I used last time again. When I clicked on the link (posted 10 minutes ago) the groupon came up as "no longer available". I messaged the facebook page to see if there was another way to get the deal and received no response despite the fact that I know they saw the message. Terribly managed company with very low regard for their customers. Avoid them if you can. read more

The manger here was terrible. Passive aggressive, doesn't get involved when he is sitting right next to a customer having issues. He sold my friend a 6 hour pass without bothering to check if there was more than one race for the next 3 hours available. Oh and 2 different cashiers' primary response to my group's questions consisted of 'I'm not sure' or 'I don't know'. Spend your money elsewhere because they don't bother explaining that if you buy and pay almost $70 for a 6 hour pass, you are 'subject to availability' and you might only get 2-3 rides in 4 hours... There was no need to be as rude as they were and they didn't bother telling us initially that you have to keep signing up after a race to be enrolled in more, hence we only got in to 2 races. Not to mention every time I pointed to a ticket and asked why mine said 6 sessions and my friend's said 2, even though we had the same ticket and time, the manager's only answer was, 'I don't know'. Never coming back, actively making sure I post everywhere I can about this place. Its a shame because the kart operators and the track/karts are pretty decent. read more

Worst customer service experience of my 52 years I took my son and his friend on a Sunday afternoon. Started with so so food from the cafe (served, as it turns out by the manager). Meal took an eternity to serve (turned out one meal was sitting on the serving counter getting cold while the rest of us were eating). After getting up to retrieve the third meal myself I thought I would visit the counter to see about race tickets. It was then I was told that we would not be able to race for two hours, since the place was booked for a function. What's more, if we did not interrupt our meal then and there to register, I would probably have to wait longer. They apparently have a rather unique view of "first come", when deciding who is first served. In the time it took four us to register (we let our meals get cold to avoid further delay), we were delayed twice more, for a total of almost an extra hour, or a total of three. Staff were completely indifferent to the way I was being treated. The manager was worse. No suggestion of the least bit of regret that I was unhappy. No sense that maybe he should have mentioned when we came in that the place was booked and I'd need to wait three hours, before taking my money for crap food, but noooooo. It seems to me that if your business model is to shut down fr hours at a time you might think to mention this on your webisite. All this man had to do was apologize, perhaps offer a coupon or a refund on my meal and I would have gone away happy. Instead tells me that im a fool for not knowing through some king of clairvoiance that he shuts down for hours, and by the way I'm a second rate customer to the great Alex Tagliani. I always go here before but since we leave farther now, we hardly visit this place. Now that we moved back, we revisit and wants to have an awesome ride this summer season. Unfortunately, the Manager of this company do not know what customer service means! He does not know how to talk professionally to customers. I brought my shihtzu knowing that we can watch my cousins and I to ride the go kart. However, instead of giving me assistance where to go for a pet-friendly place he keep telling me to go out. Then, I put my puppy along the hallway 'coz the garage side is closed and also to still glance and check on my pup but then the manager called a security instead. I like the team of people before who knows how to greet, help and assist customers. This place is not ideal at all to spend quality time with family and friends because of the management's customer service. I hope the management will retrain their group of people to know the importance of high quality/standard customer service especially the Manager whom should be the one to act in accordance to his position to not give an inappropriate behaviour towards the customers. read more

Went on a week night with my 14 year old son to Grand Prix Kartways on a Groupon. We both had a GREAT TIME. Pretty fast cars and friendly staff. Competing against other racers and trying to beat your best time was fun too. There were maybe 10 other people there, so we were able participate in every other race. No real issues. We didn't come for the bar or other activities they offer, so no opinion other than the place could probably use a paint job. We will definitely come back next summer for our rematch. read more

BEWARE!!! One star for GPK is really pushing it. My boyfriend and I purchased tickets to spend a (what was supposed to be) nice and fun evening at GPK. For $66, we were able to purchase two unlimited all day passes that began from 6PM-12AM. We ended up leaving after the first round around the track. Aside from the usual injuries that may occur from Go Karting, there seemed to be some sort of prejudice, as my boyfriend and I were the only minorities on the track at the time. A male Caucasian employee who sped through the instructions with how to handle the actual Kart proceeded to give us attitude when we asked ONE question about the helmets. Mind you, he did not assign us any nor did he tell us to just choose from the rack, so we asked if it was possible for us to get two helmets for the race. We got more than just helmets; we were also given a lovely splash of sass and a 5-second eyeroll from this employee of the month. He, however, was all smiles and sunshine when it came to the three other participants behind us in the line, as well as the three that were helped before us. Coincidently, they were all Caucasian. Perhaps we got shafted because he was suddenly having a bad day for the three minutes of when he was "helping" us? Poor thing. Now, there are rude and awful employees everywhere, so I guess we were just unlucky; but wait, there's more. On the actual Kartway, there is a rule whereby one will be forced to leave the track after intentionally crashing into another participant. There are three chances with this rule. During the race, I accidentally spun out and crashed into another driver amidst my spin and that was my warning from the employees. Reasonable. However, one of the participants (a Caucasian male) who was behind us in the line up for the helmets and instructions crashed into me from behind and from the side over three times and taunted me by laughing or making immature noises, only for the employees to high five him after we parked our karts at the end of the race. Same exact situation happened to my boyfriend. No penalty whatsoever for neither of them. Shocker. For those of you whom are considering this place for a birthday party or just a place to hang out with your friends and family, it is imperative to recognize that GPK is NOT a safe nor inviting place for everyone to have fun without having to suffer from discrimination. Please do not traumatize yourself or others by coming here. Ultimately, this is where we chose to spend a nice Thursday night together with hopes to have fun and to explore the GTA. After this experience, I would like to warn all of you of this DREADFUL place and choose your date nights WISELY. We will not be returning and neither will any of our friends or family members. read more

Please don't waste your money. I called ahead of time to make sure my learning disabled students (all age 17+) would be able to be accommodated. They said yes, they have kids birthday parties all the time and that it shouldn't be much different. I told them I would pay extra to have the space to ourselves, but they claimed no one else was booked that evening. We arrived and there were two other large parties there. They told us we would only be able to race once an hour, which I was upset about, but told them this was not a problem and that we would play in the arcade. We started our race and were stopped constantly because one of the kids got turned around and hit a wall. This was only 1 kid, the rest did well after the first 2 laps, but let's be realistic, you could be the greatest driver in the world and still hit a wall go-karting. About 4 laps in, we were told that our kids were "destroying the property" and that we were going to have to leave because our kids were too 'disabled' to race, but that we could finish our race. (Honestly, I didn't tell them because I knew they were discriminating against our group, but one of kids has their driver's license and none of them have physical disabilities that prevent them from driving. They only have MINOR learning disabilities.) Anyway, they proceeded to tell me after only HALF a lap, that my children were a safety risk and that we needed to leave their facility. I watched the next racers, while I waited for their parents to arrive and they were worse than we were and weren't stopped or kicked off once. I was told afterwards that they paid full price. I realized only after reading their Google and Yelp reviews that they apparently do this to groups that come to the facility on Groupon deals and any group they feel like discriminating against that particular day. The lady at the desk who signed us out, told me I couldn't read because I didn't know why we had to pay additional tax on the Groupon deal. We had paid tax on the certificates when we bought them, so why would we have had to pay additional tax on them? Regardless, we were treated horribly, discriminated against for our kids with disabilities and our Groupon deal. This is one business that deserves to go out of business. read more

Great racing experience! Had a blast with a group of friends! Carts were fast, employees were nice, and they even have a full bar with food and everything! Ended up staying even longer than intended because we kept wanting to race again. Took a break and played laser tag which was fun too, and then back to more racing. Would definitely go back again and would recommend to my friends. read more

Do not buy a groupon for this facility. You can only use it in very limited windows of time. A single day race pass for 6 hours at $30. is not worth it as there are a lot of restrictions on when you can use it. read more
