They answered all of our questions, reassured us, and provided so so much help leading up to the wedding day. Our guests RAVED about the venue! The nature and landscaping is so well taken care of that there was hardly a need to decorate. The tent with twinkle lights was the cherry on top, making it a truly magical night. The bridal and groom suite were well suited for our needs, plenty of room for the hair and makeup artist, and the bridal suite also came with an industrial steamer! Parking is a little limited for the venue, but really not too bad. Far enough from the city that there was no car sounds. Even though I can't provide a lot of photos because we only had our wedding a week ago since writing this, trust that it is beautiful and GET MARRIED HERE!!! I only wish they sold some kind of ornament so we could have a keepsake of this gorgeous location! It was so pretty and that day was nice and sunny so the mountains looked majestic as the backdrop to a wonderful Easter weekend. They had face painting, balloon animals, and a petting zoo, and the kids just loved it. They had set up an Easter Egg Hunt and had lots of cute decorations everywhere for the Easter festivities. You really felt like it was Easter there. They even had an Easter Bunny to take photos with the little kids and the Bunny gave lots of great hugs to the kids and take photos with everyone. The buffet was extensive and had plenty of food for everyone's tastes. They even had crab claws and mussels. Unfortunately it was all my favorite foods and I ate a little too much. I was so stuffed I could barely get to the dessert table. (I of course have a reserve dessert stomach, so I had some cake and coffee). The staff was very nice and helpful and they worked very hard. It was a great event and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Hopefully we get another invite out here again soon!

Furniture, lighting, tent, bridal suite, sparklers and grooms room all included. But it is all outdoors - so we were lucky to have perfect weather! Tom is so calm, made sure the wedding day was perfect for us, everything went smoothly and he cleared everything for us after! As part of getting married there, Tom handles all of the wedding details as the day-of planner, though his role goes so far beyond that. He brings his calm and skill to helping us pick vendors, coordinate details that we would have missed with those vendors, and then ensure the contracts look good. He had a schedule and process for ensuring everything was done by our wedding day, flexible enough to be curated to us. On the week of, he took on a lot of the finishing touches and last-second communication with the vendors so that we did not have to worry about. On the day of, he made sure all went smoothly and communicated with all of the vendors and guests where needed. All went smoothly and beautifully. We'd highly recommend Woodinville Lavender!

In September, I attended a wedding at this beautiful venue!…read more The ceremony took place on the perfectly green lawn with a lovely man-made pond and fountain in the backdrop. The weather couldn't have been better... sunny but not too hot, so I felt comfortable without any covering over the seating area. There is a cottage several yards away where the bridal party got ready, and it served as the starting point for them to begin their walk down the aisle. One might think that the main road running parallel to the property would be disruptive, but it's not a very busy street, so you don't hear the cars driving by. During cocktail hour, guests were directed to the covered bar area to grab drinks and the venue had set up some lawn games like Jenga and cornhole for additional entertainment during this time. There was plenty of space for socializing and capturing photos. The reception was held in the Grand Barn that also had an outdoor patio area perfect for a buffet line. The large barn doors at both ends helped keep the air flowing and there were 11 tables that comfortably seated all the guests with about nine people per table. On top of this, there was enough space for a small band to set up and play live music. I loved the string lighting that draped down from the ceiling which illuminated the entire barn in a magical glow. Restrooms are in a separate structure out by the lawn, so it is a little walk away from the barn. Each one has two stalls and one sink. I believe both are gender-neutral. They were super clean, air conditioned and well-ventilated. I really admired the property grounds and the serene location away from the bustle of Seattle. From a wedding guest perspective, I would highly recommend Trillium for your big day.

There is a designated cocktail area where our bartender set up, allowing guests to mingle comfortably. The reception space is magnificent, adorned with beautiful lighting and silk draping from the rafters, plus a prep kitchen conveniently located next to the dining area, making it an excellent choice for caterers. One of the key advantages is that the rental spans from Friday at noon to Sunday at noon, which alleviated any stress regarding setup and takedown. Additionally, there is an on-site Airbnb included in the package. We booked it for both Thursday and Monday, ensuring the groomsmen never had to leave the premises. This was the best decision we made for the wedding party. There is also a beautiful area for the bride and bridesmaid to get ready complete with their own station with a mirror, emergency items (bobby pins, sewing kits, hair spray, makeup removers, etc.) and outlets for hair essentials. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue. Karissa and Tatijana managed the entire wedding with remarkable professionalism and care. On a day when it hadn't rained for over 25 years (talk about luck!), they skillfully accommodated and rearranged everything that needed attention without ever causing me concern. I am incredibly impressed by both of them; they are friendly, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. If I had more daughters, I would undoubtedly choose this venue again.

Beware of Renting Blakely Hall in the Issaquah Highlands…read more On Saturday October 12, 2024, my wife and I rented Blakely Hall in the Issaquah Highlands (operated by the Highlands Council) to host a baby shower for our son and daughter-in-law with about 30 friends and family in attendance. We reserved the hall for 4 hours from 10 AM to 2 PM at an hourly rate of $150, or $600 total for the event. The guests of honor were late arriving at the shower (they had a couple of errands to run), and so we stayed a bit beyond 2 PM to finish cleaning up. A few days later we received an e-mail from the manager of the facility saying that we had stayed an extra 38 minutes. Per their policy, they rounded that up to 1 hour and charged us twice the normal hourly rate for being tardy vacating the facility, or an extra $300. We tried calling them twice to discuss what happened, but they never returned our calls. We then e-mailed them to explain what happened and to see if we could get the overage charge reduced (per their website we could have simply added an extra hour for $150 when we made our reservation). We agreed that an extra $150 was warranted for not leaving by 2 PM but that doubling the charge to $300 seemed punitive and unfair. They replied that doubling the hourly rate as a penalty was their policy and they would not work with us to lower the charge. We never heard from them again. I would caution anyone thinking about using this facility either to look for an alternative venue or at the very least be aware of the onerous way that the facility is managed and plan accordingly. We will certainly never use this facility again or recommend it to anyone.

I come to Blakely Hall once a month for the Issaquah Poker Club monthly tournament. It's a great…read morevenue space and it's always so clean and well kept. This is a feat when 50-60 men and women bring their own beers and bar snacks all gather together and leave crumbs and debris on the floor. The cleaning staff here do a great job here. The open space in Blakely Hall is a great spot if you want to host a shower, birthday party, auction, or a charity event. It's spacious and we're able to fit 8 full size poker tables with room to spare. There's also a large kitchen with two french door refrigerators and ovens, so if you're planning on catering a party, you can do that as well. Blakely Hall is located in the Issaquah Highlands near residential area. It's tucked in a place with lots of houses and townhomes. The positive is that there's plenty of street parking and you're in a safe area with plenty of foot traffic. I love coming here once a month to play poker. It absolutely beats playing in a garage or an old hall built in the 1950's with no heat or air conditioning. It's not like I'm playing in a players-only club from the movie Rounders, but I enjoy a nice clean modern venue. If you're looking for a spot to host an event, check out Blakely Hall.

The Grand Hall would host approx 200 people during current COVID restrictions, otherwise up to 400. Custodial, tables/chairs, linens and some centerpieces would be included, making this venue more coordinated and less stressful than some of the other venues I looked at in terms of planning. The in house catering for the grand hall was the only reason for not choosing the venue due to concerns of the caterer and certain Asian dishes we wanted for our wedding. Ashley, the event coordinator gave me a tour, invited me to the tasting and well followed up with me. She is a warm and friendly person to talk with. I've had struggles with other venues in trying to get them to even respond and response with other venues generally took days if not weeks. Ashley is quick to respond and thoroughly answers all of your questions. I very much appreciated her.

Honestly I love how the school was naturally built in an area where dozens of trails lead to a forest behind the woods. The large, spacious Holman library in front of the registration office. Great open air campus with plenty of new incoming buildings. Perfect college facility with available llc rental spaces in it's surrounding areas for public&students. Awful part is after a protest caused by Ely the president, she got fired from it. However, didn't actually improve at all. Then the school renamed 'Greenriver' without the word 'community'. They no longer prioritize affordable finances for low income families, eliminating several programs for budget cuts. Those who need to get through financial aid might face a lot of difficulties.
