Patio has about 6 tables with colorful flowers in full bloom surrounded us. It's quite magical sitting there relaxing and sipping delicious tea, pastries and lunch. Everyone works in the shop all so sweet and attentive. We had London fog which was fragrant and beautiful. Salad and sandwich hit the spot. I wanted to love this place and was so excited to try it. We made a reservation a month in advance because there were 7 of us. We were seated at a large table, and it was beautifully decorated. After twenty minutes, someone came by to talk about the teas. We ordered our pots, and she said they would be out shortly. We got the tea and were told we could try any other tea. She brought out tiers of little snacks, and then didn't come back for an hour. I think she was busy with other customers but there were two additional workers. One of my friends asked one of the other workers for a different tea, and she came by and said "he's just the host." Ok, well he could have still given you the order, or you could have come by and asked if we wanted a different tea? I really wanted to recommend this place, and bring my daughter back with her friends but for $565 for 7 people, the food you see, and one pot of tea for each guest, I'm going to pass. read more

I've been better twice already. The first time was August 23, 2024 for my daughter's birthday. Food was great, service amazing. Place was cute and quaint. Today I took two of my friends to celebrate one of my friends birthday. I won a tea for two contest on Instagram, and I decided to share it with my friends. Caitlyn was fabulous as our high tea server. She was friendly and gave us over the top service. One of my friends and I have been here, but it was birthday girls first time. The tower of treats was just that - a tower, filled with tasty finger food. Everything, even those things I'm not usually a fan of, were great. We started with scones, clotted cream, and lemon curd. So good, tender with a crunchy top. And a savory scone with a little cheese and crispy bacon nuggets. The fruit was all at peak. Where did they get such good tasting strawberries?!? Then the sandwiches. All were very good. Surprisingly, my fav may have been the turkey, cheese, jam and arugula. We finished with the sweets. Not usually a fan of shortbread, this was buttery and moist. Not crumbly and dry (not a big fan of the thyme though). The little phyllo cup filled with pastry cream is a treasure. We found this place unexpectedly in April 2025 on vacation. We were lucky to be visiting on a rainy Monday afternoon. The place is on the smaller side with only about 6 tables. They were very accommodating and let us be guests without reservations. We ordered a scone and fruit platter with some specialized strawberry scones. The food was delicious and the presentation was pretty. We enjoyed tea very much. They even let us have more water for our tea and enjoy the space while the rain moved through. I really liked this place. It's hidden in the back corner of Gilman Village. I reserved a table online for 3 people which was very convenient - I would definitely recommend trying to get a reservation as the space is smaller with limited capacity. The space was one of the cutest I've been to! There are dried flowers hanging from the ceiling and the most adorable cottage decor and teacups on display. Every tea pot comes with its own tea cozy and it's just the most fun. The tea is bottomless for the afternoon service. I was able to try the vanilla coconut and the chocolate earl grey. Perhaps because the space was so small, our server felt one of my daughter's friends was talking too loudly. She was speaking at a normal volume. The server made us feel like kids were very unwelcome, even though when I called, I specifically asked about this. All the kids felt like they had to whisper the rest of the time and it was a huge damper on the celebration. Number one reason I won't be back. But wait, there's more! We did the full tea service but anytime anyone wanted to try a different tea, we were given a huge, long winded explanation of why we couldn't or had to wait or some other weird explanation. None of us ended up getting more than our initial pot. My daughter wanted hot chocolate (included) as well as tea (also included) but was told no for some reason. The food was fine but nothing stood out. All things you'd make at home and tasted... fine. Our server never came to check on us until it was time to pay. Beautiful, authentic, aesthetic, and so inviting! Me and my partner had the Afternoon High Tea and have had a lot of sweet treats but were blown away by the care and meticulousness of Paisleys. The savory foods were fresh, well spiced but not overpowering, the sweets were NEXT LEVEL delicious. The scones were buttery, the macarons were airy, and every bite was diverse and added a new layer to the experience. Olivia was our server and was so fun and we were happy to chat with her, I felt that this was a place people must love to work at because of her passion and enthusiasm. This is an excellent place for a special date, birthday, or an aesthetic Girly get together! Very photo-op friendly and we were welcome to take our time, which I've experienced at other High Tea places. super super cute tea room in issaquah! i love a cottage core esque café and this place was perfectly decorated. i ordered a strawberry matcha and a chocolate strawberry cookie to go. there were about three girls working and only about three tables dining in. one of the girls said she'd be with us in a second, but we ended up standing there for about 20 minutes while getting ignored by the other employees. the matcha was mid, and literally just tasted like sweet milk; barely any matcha. the cookie was pretty good and the strawberry coating on the bottom tasted like the chocolate coated raisins you get in the boxes. read more

Ambiance is warm and inviting. Our table for two was cozy but a little small for a full tea service. There were small tongs on the table which we thought were for cubes of sugar but come to find out the sugar was loose but not a big deal. I ordered chocolate Earl Gray tea which was quite delightful. I was able to switch out my salmon tea sandwich for cucumber. That said, I was hoping I would have been asked if they could put another type of filling in such as the chicken with cumin or some aioli to add to the flavor. Have yet to try the scones but I'm a sucker for kalamata olives so I'm sure I'll be impressed. Lemon curd was replaced with a cranberry orange curd which had good flavor but could not discern any cranberry. While the macaron was beautiful inside and out, it was filled with a buttercream and raspberry but could not taste any raspberry whatsoever. Also, the butter cookie topped with raspberry lacked flavor. And I was a little perplexed as to why you would be serving two items with raspberry. Why not apricot? The chocolate cupcake had good flavor and piped poinsettias on top were so delicate with gold beads in the center of each but I was sort of looking for a faint flavor of something in the buttercream. Had a really nice conversation with Quinn, the owner. You can tell she's passionate about what she does and she was willing to listen to some suggestions. While I think it was a wonderful experience, $62 is a little steep for afternoon tea compared to menu and pricing of other tea rooms in the area. read more

I took my English parents here for the afternoon tea. I was very impressed with the variety of sandwiches on different breads, savory scone, and homemade lime curd. Service was great and my favorite part was that they clearly were cool with people sticking around for a few hours talking and enjoying the tea at their own pace. I was heavily confused where to stand or be greeted since we had reservation. I flagged down a staff member, this place is on the casual side, indeed. I saw that the sugar for the tea was out in the open. So I did not use the sugar, its the reasons i didn't give a 4 star. It was also on the loud side. Tea and food; the tea options were plentiful and the chocolate earl gray that I got was really good. The sandwiches were flavorful but still delicate. The scones were soft, sweet and salty. We have to get an additional two for an additional price. I did not like the pasterys but i think that was my own taste as my husband enjoyed them. I paid 150 for two, overall all the food and tea were good. The ambience wasnt ideal for afternoon tea. Service was average. I think it's a nice place to try, but I don't see myself being a regular here. read more

If you're driving to Paisley's Tea Room, it shares a parking lot with a lot of the local businesses. I arrived around 10am on a Saturday and I found parking; but I noticed how quickly the lot was starting to fill, and an hour later the lot seemed almost full.
