Overall, the condo was clean and in good condition with a few exceptions. The problem I had was at check in. When I reserved the condo, I was told check in was anytime between three and five. If the room was ready earlier, I would receive a text. When I arrived at 3:35 I was told it was not ready and they did not know when it would be ready. I was told they close at 5:00 and I could get the key from a box if they were closed. Luckily, they texted me little later and was able to go back and check in. I have rented from this company in the past without having a problem, but when a company tells me something I expect them to live up to their word. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS HORRIABLE COMPANY!!! The condo was dated We were charged a cleaning fee for carpet cleaning that we were not responsible for. I find it very SKETCHY that the carpet cleaning company that they use is also the cleaners that clean the condo and decide if the carpet is in need of cleaning. Then they put on their carpet cleaning company hat and charge the customer for service that they judged needed doing. Sounds like a DOUBLE DIPPING situation to me and how you can be charged for a service that was not needed. Management reported that it was soiled that came up right after cleaning. Rented 221 at Tilghman Beach and Racquet Club. Spend a few hours cleaning the unit. It was dirty and sandy upon arrival and hair everywhere. The same comforter from 5 years ago...felt so dirty. Mixed feelings about our stay. We love Crescent Shores condos usually but with this condo there were multiple issues (1210S). It was outdated and worn out. There were torn bed skirts and the couch was disgustingly obviously dirty. The shag carpet was dirty with bits of dirt and food in it. There was a plug outlet that was partially cracked and broken suitcase stands in one bedroom. There was a very dirty toilet in one bathroom which we didn't recognize immediately and after reporting it within 24 hours they still wouldn't send anyone out to clean it. Several items had dead batteries like the big clock and all the (around 12)) tv remotes. The tv was hard to figure out, actually every tv in there (4) had a different combination of equipment and was very hard to figure out, the frig light was out, the washer and dryer, though new and pretty, were hard to figure out and no instructions. And the ceiling fan in the MBR had 2 bulbs broken or out. This was the list that we made. So this particular condo needs a lot of help, to start off a new couch and bed skirts. The cleaning crew needs to be better and some maintenance issues. Though again, we like Crescent Shores, I'd like to make a suggestion that the building needs auto opening doors everywhere, especially the door from the parking lot to the building in the loading area and the doors into the condos which are heavy and awkward for getting anything in and out of there. And finally the loading and parking is extremely difficult esp during peak periods - that part I'm sure you're aware of. We hope to come back to Crescent Shores our next beach trip. I don't know how to be careful in what we choose that it is more clean and kept up, but this one sure didn't live up to it's description, other than "magnificent views of the ocean" or something like that. The General Manager, Michelle, is the only one keeping this place from sinking. Five stars just for her because she's always readily available, diligent, apologetic, sincere, and she gets the job done. She probably needs a raise. She's an invaluable asset to the company. read more

The rental company greeted us very well and it went downhill from there. We rented a home with a private pool, The Bucket List. Upon arriving the smell of sewer water hits you in the face. The smell was coming from the washer dryer area and they sent someone over to drain one of the lines but the smell still lingered. The house was not cleaned to a 5 star rating standard so that is the reason for 2 stars. The bedrooms are a nice size, the beds were comfortable and the screened in porch was a hit with the kids. The pool area was also nice. The downside about the pool is the surrounding tress so you will be skimming a few times a day. The decor was nice but the housekeeping was a total let down. Was so excited but the cleanliness was a concern especially with COVID and monkeypox. Sorry to leave this review but if you rely on reviews, it is needed. read more

We rented a condo at Tilghman Beach and Racquet Club unit 220. The room was unclean, black mold on vents and shower areas, the furniture was broke and you couldn't sit on the bar stool. The beds and sheets were unclean as well. 1 bed didn't have the comforter on it the whole time we stayed and the other had marks on it. looked like crap. Took it to the main office and informed the "General" manager Alica Altman of our issues and that we would be expecting a refund of our linen and cleaning charges as well as a return of some of the money for the room as well. Her statement has always been that she will have to speak to the owner. this is continuing on for weeks now, and still no resolution. We have requested that she involve the party that has the decision-making capabilities.She refuses to do so and continually delays any resolution to this issue. Will never rent through this place again. The last two times I have rented through them it has been a total disaster. The first time the ceiling fell in the bathroom called and no one came. This time I am paying $100.00 for lining service not enough wash clothes. I have called twice still no wash clothes. No more. I will never rent through this place again. read more

Have used several rental company's in the area Grand Strand is by far our favorite. Service is great accommodations were clean and available quickly. Problem with TV in our room they were there and resolved issue within an hour of reporting it. You won't be sorry if you trust them with your next getaway. read more

Our condo was not cleaned properly before we arrived. There was dried food on the furniture. Two of the bar stools were falling apart. The chairs on the balcony were broken. The carpet was filthy as well. We had to put blankets on the furniture in order to feel comfortable sitting down. I also had to have my 3 year old play on a blanket on the floor. This company did not even try to make it right. My mother called several times during the week and never received a call back. We were told the owner would not do anything and neither would the Grand Strand company. The employees did not apologize or seem to care. Extremely poor customer service on their part. We will never use this company or recommend them to anyone ever again. Luckily, we were able to make due, clean up what we could, and have a wonderful vacation together despite the filth. Our family has taken our yearly vacation for over 30 years at the Tilghman's Beach and Racquet club managed thru Grand Strand rentals. After having made our reservation in the fall of 2018, unfortunately in March of 2019, we needed to cancel for our mid-July 2019 trip. This rental company charged us $200.00 for our cancellation, even with 4 months notice. When I called the rental office, I was told that if we had bought travel insurance, we could have recouped our money. I feel that 4 months is more than ample notice for the company to re-rent our unit and that the cancellation fee is not only outrageous, but a bad business practice, especially for long time and loyal customers. We are planning to come for future reunions, but will certainly NOT be renting thru Grand Strand rental. The condos aren't that great and the management and homeowners association have made past vacations unpleasant on more than one occasion. We are over 50, hard working clientele who would like to enjoy our once a year vacation with our families at Tilghman's, but their policies and unwillingness to work with us on this particular issue has been extremely unhelpful and quite frankly, ungrateful for the 30-something years of renting their property. If you can help it, don't use the Grand Strand rental company. If you do, be prepared to be disappointed. read more
