Fast service, super friendly staff and open late! Have been wanting to try this place for a while and it was super good. Great menu with a huge variety. I got the steak meat tacos and my husband got the steak meat quesadilla. Really delicious and look forward to trying again. I can't wait to get the churros next time!

Came to this place for takeout and had seen good things on yelp. Located in what is usually a busy plaza, it was pretty quiet given the COVID situation so parking was plentiful. However, on most days, expect parking to be hectic. We ordered takeout and the food was pretty much ready on arrival. It seems they make things fresh to order which is great. The veges all look really fresh. Service was pretty quick and friendly. Food: Steak and shrimp bowl - we added like everything into the bowl and it was delicious. Rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, corn, guacamole, and tons of other toppings! Everything was fresh. Meat was cooked well. Only complaint is that it's not really steak, it's more like beef strips. Also shrimp was only 4 pieces but still a lot of food overall. Fries supreme was pretty good. Crispy fries, delicious toppings - ground beef, cheese sauce, tomatoes, green onions. Price: Really reasonable pricing. Above items were 15$ before tax. Plenty of food for your dollar. Summary: Made to order meats with fresh veges at a great price!

Was excited to try this place out based off the previous reviews but sad to say this. Was a big disappointment. I got the beef taco special and the fries supreme. The tacos were lacking flavor, same thing with the fries supreme. The tomatoes were way too big to be thrown on there. The hot sauce they made tasted like rubber mats. I definitely won't be going back there anytime soon.

Was craving for Chipotle but I didn't feel like supporting big businesses that day on Halloween as I know they would be swamped with orders anyways so I went on yelp and discovered this little gem. Man I was glad to give this place a shot! Wife and I ordered a small chicken bowl, small spicy steak burrito and a supreme fries combo. All of the toppings looked very fresh that I asked for everything on top and yes, guac is included. I really respect that and its not that fake green goop stuff you get from a bag at subway that looks more like wasabi than guacamole. The burrito was nicely cooked and the I liked that the edges were crisp and the insides was warm. The bowl also had plenty of fillings and meat inside. All of the sauces worked nicely with the meal and I really respect the portions that they gave. We basically passed out from food coma afterwards. The staff here are so friendly, considerate and even passionate with their culinary craft. I will definitely be looking forward to another visit to try out the quesadilla !

giving the Boys making Burritos around the corner a run for their money Just another burrito store on the VP strip I thought, but after a few visits quickly became a fan. Clean cafeteria-style layout, with your typical options varying from tacos, burritos, bowels, to fries supreme. Considering all things everything is priced well, a Grande Chicken at $12.50 fills you up. Long story short, the toppings have always tasted fresh. The fries are perfect, crisp, not too greasy ( trust me went to a few places where I question their oil-changing routines ). The chicken in my case is well cooked and flavored. Isn't dry or just cooked on the flat top sprinkled with seasoning. Would recommend trying their version of the fries supreme comes with ground beef or chicken, putting Taco Bell to shame. Regardless of what you order you get a healthy amount of protein. I hope they maintain what they have. Overall would recommend this place and would go again, especially to try the fish variants. I could be wrong cause I never asked but I don't think they charge for guac, this should be mandated for all burrito stores lol.

Stumbled across this place as it was highly recommended by one of my colleagues. I ordered a steak and chicken burrito bowl over rice, with beans, jalepenos, lettuce, guac and sauces including chipotle, hot sauce and mmmmm! Was it tasty! Generous portions, and filling! I highly recommend checking out this joint if you're in the area and feeling for a bowl. They are decently priced, and for the portions- you would definitely not be disappointed. Please do stop by and give this place a try!

We were craving tacos one afternoon, and there aren't many Mexican spots nearby where we live. We decided to venture out to this place after seeing the good reviews and could see it was definitely a popular spot once we got there. We ordered the fish tacos, a spicy steak burrito bowl, and the supreme fries - total was about $30. THIRTY BUCKS! For the amount of food we got, I thought that was a steal! I've gotten so used to some of these places gouging people for money for dinky plates like it's nobody's business. The staff working there were very friendly. You can basically pick whatever you want to go on your tacos/burritos/bowls. For a place called 'Grande Burrito', the fish tacos were quite tasty! The portions are very generous. I would have given it 5 stars, but the fries supreme was lacking the sour cream. Might just have to go back and retry my luck!

Wow. What a great find! We decided to do a pickup and ordered online on their website and got 10% off since we were over $20. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl and up sized to "grande" with all of the fixings! My husband did a spicy steak bowl, same size. Let me tell you, they are very generous with their portions. Although my bowl was $13, I had enough for two meals. Gauc is not extra here, I repeat, Gauc is not extra! Only suggestion is that they up the ante on their hot sauce cause I found it fairly mild. My husband's spicy steak was delicious!! Can't wait to order again! COVID: masks enforced and the online ordering makes it easier to not crowd the counter.

Food was decent and toppings are generous. but on our order of fish tacos the fish was mostly burnt.....had to rip out a lot of the burnt pieces to be able to eat it. Wasn't even much actual fish left in the taco. Bad quality on that and wouldn't order again, not okay to serve in that condition, check before serving please..... Otherwise, everything else was fine. the ingredients were fresh and generously filling.

OKAYYYYY - this burrito bowl was i'm not kidding when I say, portion was packed to the rim and full of flavour. I got the shrimp & steak - and everything was perfectly seasoned. I asked for hot spice - and it was exactly that! Little gem in Scarborough that I can't wait to back for! PS they're halal

The food are so good! I had a yam burrito bowl and I wake up thinking, it'd be great if I can eat a yam burrito bowl! I also previously had the halibut, burrito and quesadilla, they both phenomenal! Quesadilla is very neat and that's about the differences. I'm so full from eating and I want more! Never have I ever had that feeling is all I'm say ;)

A great burrito joint. Very simple and very quick. I found the food to be great tasting and filling. Something that stood out was that food felt clean and not full of oil and fat like most burrito places. I tried both the steak and BBQ steak and was throughly satisfied!

Ordered a set of soft tacos (3: ground beef, chicken and steak) and regular supreme fries. The supreme fries were great, we were told the regular size was tiny but to us it was more of than enough to share between two people with 3 tacos. The tacos were fresh, tasty and filling. One small critique is the meat was on the tad dry side. Guacamole is extra. During our visit, there quite a disturbance with noise from sawing metal in the restaurant which is intolerable. The owner/manager came up to us to apologize and gave us extra food at no charge and was very sorry about the situation. We appreciated such a kind gesture. The staff was friendly and prompt, the place is exceptionally clean, as well as the washrooms. Definitely going back to try their other menu items. I would say this place has a healthier feel compared to burrito boys and fat bastards.

Chicken burrito bowl. I asked for very little sauce.

The I Heart Butter Tart Concrete ($6.49) that I ordered was a little too much for myself. I did decide to go through and finish the ice cream / sundae just so I don't have anything to go. The interior of the place was properly though out and well designed. Self order stations are available to order from and the ordering interface is one of the better systems I have seen. When I dined in early afternoon on a weekday it was a rather slow day. There were a couple of Shake Shack employees constantly roaming about the premises ready to attend to any customer request. 1 such employee was thoughtful enough to serve me and a group of other customers some water. I have mixed feelings about the bathroom setup. Yes, it is clean and there were a few toilet rooms available, but it requires a code to be entered prior to using. The door screen shows as vacant but an employee still needs to give out the 4 digit code needed to access the toilets. I also found some issues with the water faucet sensors. It is inconsistently picking up my gestures resulting in an unreliable and unsteady flow of running water when I was washing my hands.

This is their second location, in a build with 3 other food vendors. It is mostly a takeout restaurant. There is a small counter where you could stand and eat. There are six set combinations. Or you can build your own pasta (BYOP) combo. On the soft-opening day (2025-01-20), they were offering an opening special of Mac N Cheese with BBQ Chicken sample and a drink for only $6.99. I ordered the following: 1. BYOP: Garlic Shrimp, penne, rose sauce, broccoli, black olives, mushrooms. It automatically comes with sliced green peppers and chopped parsley. 2. Opening Special ($6.99) x 2. For the BYOP, they didn't warn me it was medium spicy. I can handle it with a cold drink! The shrimp and penne were perfectly cooked. I loved the rose sauce. My choices of broccoli,  black olives, and mushrooms worked well together and with the base. The Opening Special was delicious; the Mac n Cheese part and BBQ Chicken were really good! Unfortunately, the BBQ was mildly spicy, and my son didn't like it; more for me! The customer service was good. It took them a long time to prepare the food (there were many orders prior to mine). But it was opening day, so hopefully, they will speed up their cooking. There is no free WiFi. The food stall is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There are no customer washrooms. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-014

Typically, in my experience, usually the…read morecuisine leans more towards one side not necessarily fusing the two flavors well together. Similarly while I would not consider this quite a fusion restaurant, the food was indeed delicious! Most of the rice sides, had furikake sprinkled on top which always enhances the flavor. The sushi selection was good! The top items for me were the cod and lobster/shrimp udon. Again neither were quite executed as fusion (IMO) but nonetheless it was delicious! The steak was also good, but steak is more readily available on most menus elsewhere. The potato and egg salad as an app also made the top list. It was super creamy and paired nicely with the crunchy chips! The endless drink menu/option is also excellent, except I am not sure how much alcohol was actually in there because within the group of 13 people, most of us did not feel even slightly tipsy. The ambiance is beautiful and really embraces a jungle with vibrant colors intertwined into the interior. the bathroom however, is a different story as it is at the end of a very dark hallway. Not sure if they turn the lights on at night, but for someone with poor vision, it was hard to see as the light reflected off the walls. The servers were friendly and with a large group like ours, we did have some dishes that just never made it out so we did need to flag someone down for them about an hour or so in.

The…read morerestaurant itself is a whole experience... it was super colourful, modern, and upscale without feeling too stiff. My friend and I were seated near the bar area, so instead of regular dining chairs, we had those lower, wider lounge-style seats. It made the whole experience feel a bit more relaxed while still fitting the upscale ambiance. We decided to go all out and order a variety of dishes so we could really experience what the restaurant had to offer. To start, my friend ordered the El Camino while I went with the Chicha Sagrada. Mine came with a toasted marshmallow on a skewer, which was such a fun touch. The drink itself was lightly sweet with a cinnamon flavour that kind of reminded me of cinnamon heart candies, but not overly spicy at all, super easy to sip between bites and conversation. For food, we started with the Yasai Miso Crispy Sushi. The crispy rice gives it such a satisfying crunch in every bite, and the veggie topping ties everything together nicely. Definitely one of those dishes you keep reaching for. The Yellowtail "Nikkei Sashimi" was fresh and evenly cut, and the yuzu soy sauce gave each bite a bright, citrusy finish. I was expecting a bit more truffle flavour, but the citrus really stood out instead and made the dish super refreshing. We also got the Dragon Roll. It looked fairly simple, but sometimes simple really works. The unagi sauce was drizzled around the plate as decoration, but once you dip the roll in, it brings everything together really well. The shrimp tempura inside was fried perfectly... still had a nice bite and wasn't mushy at all. The Pulled Asado Beef Taco was a standout for me. Super crunchy shell, really tender beef, and that slightly sweet creamy sauce with pickled veggies on top just worked so well together. We also shared the Chicken Sliders and Wagyu Sliders. The chicken was juicy and tender, but the bottom bun got quite soft from the sauce, making it a bit messy and harder to hold. Still tasty, just not the best texture. The Wagyu sliders, on the other hand, were easily our favourite of the night... super juicy beef, truffle coming through in every bite, and overall rich without feeling heavy. Overall, a really solid experience. The ambience alone makes it feel like a special night out, but the food holds up too, especially if you're into sharing plates and trying a bit of everything. It's definitely on the pricier side, but it feels worth it for the full experience.
