Grandma Ruth's is another destination to shoot for during any travels. I had been to the previous location years ago and was sure to head back when I was in this part of the state. Grandma is still in the kitchen, forming the dough treats! The new location is smaller but no less amazing! The staff is all friendly and they even come check on you if you eat your rolls in the store. The dough is perfection! It's not too dense, not too light, just perfect. Unfortunately on this trip they were out of the caramel rolls, but the cinnamon rolls are great. We also tried one of the orange rolls which was amazing as well. No matter where I'm heading or coming from, if I'm in this part of the state I'll drive in for some of Grandma Ruth's heavenly rolls. read more

They do have coffee and juice that is available also. The whole family is very kind and great customer service! Grandma Ruth is still there and helps make the cinnamon rolls each and every day. Grandma Ruth is certainly a special person who you get to meet when you go to her store. The Cinnamon Rills are certainly something special as well. I tried the very fresh Smore Roll and it was definitely a new experience. Fitting for our first visit to Branson and the variety of experiences here. This is a charming shop. The cinnamon rolls were good. But "Grandma" sitting in the rocking chair speaking to the guests was the real charm. Telling stories of her life long service in ministry. Greeting everyone who walks in the door. Pleasant music and very clean. You can see the staff making the rolls. If they are not ready it may take 15 minutes. But most find the wait is worth it! So YummY. When we came in, grandma Ruth was sitting at the front of the store in her rocking chair. She is a friendly lady ready to share her story of how her store came to be. The recipe is from her German mother who settled in Canada. She grew up making the cinnamon buns with her mom and eventually turned it into a store. The store is clean and spacious, lots of room for kids to run around. The cinnamon buns are delish, we tried the cinnamon and caramel ones. I know she was going to make peach ones the following day. They have zero preservatives and are not overly sweet, which was a great bonus. Would definitely go again! read more

Plus we also met and talked with Grandma Ruth herself--a really sweet lady that told us stories about her life when she was younger. She greets you at the door, and asks where you're from. The rolls themselves are preservative free and don't have any fake ingredients in them. They also have coffee, bottles of water and soda. We would highly recommend the place! The week that i stayed in Branson i had come here 3 times, and that's because i barley found out about this place 4 days into our trip. They ran out of cinnamon rolls once, but they took my number and called me when they had finished making new ones. There are some older people working here and can get a little slow, but that's the beauty of this place. I saw Grandma Ruth back there rolling the dough....its just good.
