If you are in town and have a craving for some bake goods. This is your chance to enjoy some of their delicious pastries. I had my favorite, baklava & a walnut cookie. They both were so delicious; the baklava was just as I like it. It wasn't soggy, it was crunch and flavorful not overly sweet. The walnut cookie was so so good, the nuts inside really made it a treat. Next time I'm getting a few of those and of course I'll be trying out a few new pastries. It's small and quaint with a simple but delicious menu that makes you want to try everything...NOT KIDDING! The Reuben Special was outstanding with the right balance of ingredients and sauce; it was fantastic. I sampled the Cabbage Rolls and they were authentic Eastern European like I grew up eating; also recommended. Amazing food & wonderful, friendly service at this lil mom & pop shop! We went in for a quick breakfast, but after seeing all the delicious offerings, we knew we'd be back. For breakfast, we had a croissant sandwich with egg, cheese & bacon, and the open-faced lox on a bagel. What a magnificent little place! The Dracula cake is absolutely amazing. I'm not sure what type of icing they've created but it's incredible. The cake was so moist and decadent. Large enough piece that three people could easily share. My son got the carrot cake and it was also very delicious. The service was attentive and warm. Try the Dracula cake. And then go back the next day and try it again! *disclosure... we did not refrigerate either cake, so they were both room temp when eaten. We were wandering around Downtown Branson for a quick brunch. Some of the restaurants had an hour wait, which we didn't have time for. We saw this place off the Main Street and turned to look-see. They had a bakery and offered some breakfast and lunch sandwiches. So we decided to try it! So glad we did. The food was delicious and I even went back in line to get some sweet treats to-go and try a carrot cake for us to share before we headed out. It was moist, light on the nuts, rich and dark with perfect frosting in 3 layers. My husband ordered the salmon platter. It had beautifully cooked scrambled eggs (not dry or burnt) with lox, sprinkled with capers, fresh cut tomatoes and avocado, and a bagel with schmeer and dill seasoning. I was jealous and had to try a bite for my wife tax. I had the delicious breakfast panini with egg and bacon and some seasoned mayo for dipping. My son had their bacon/egg sandwich and he said his was very good, too. The ambience was nice with cheerful music and some tables to come relax with a cup of coffee and watch the day go by their big picture window. Lovely couple running this place. read more

What an amazing treat. We slipped in on Sunday afternoon for a late lunch and were overwhelmed by the many cakes. I had the Dracula cake followed by the Transylvania panini. Always a desert firster. Service was the best. Comfortable cushioned seating and great ambiance made leaving difficult. We will return later in the week for more cake. read more

Man, this place was an excellent find. We've been to Branson so many times and never noticed this place before. We were missing out! They have custom coffees, delicious pastries, quiches, sandwiches/paninis, cabbage rolls, sodas, cupcakes, cookies, cakes, pies, breakfast (delicious bacon & egg sandwiches!). What's not to like? And did I mention that their coffee is fantastic? They have clean restrooms, ice water that you can help yourself to, and a clean dining area where you can sit with your family and enjoy your meals/desserts. We love this place and we visit as often as we can! I will say that the owner can be a bit prickly at first, but once you chat him up and get to talking, he's really a sweet guy. Give him a chance! This place is an undiscovered gem. It needs to be very busy! It's off Main Street. We stumbled on it and decided to give it a try. So glad we did! The food here is TERRIFIC. We had the breakfast croissants and the apple-pecan danish. Everything was scrumptious. They have display cases full pastries, cookies, cake slices. They serve breakfast and lunch and make espresso based drinks on the spot. Everything is made here. The owners were very nice and warmly welcoming. My latte was perfect. Glad to have found this on Yelp as it is slightly out of the way of the other shops. The smoked Salmon platter was one of the most satisfying breakfasts in my experience, kindly split up and neatly presented to me and my husband. Coffees in a for-here mug were great, and the apricot pastry taken to-go was not disappointing. We visited on 6/20 at about 5pm. The "keto friendly" advertising attracted us. A thorough list of keto-friendly items sat on the counter, containing thorough macro information. Our first two efforts to order received gruff responses from the counter person, indicating that they didn't have the items that we picked. Then, the counter person mumbled something. He may have been trying to tell us what he did have; we're not sure. We picked a third item, and he dismissively should his head. At that point, we left. We have no idea whether their products taste good, but their service and attitude towards customers trying to spend money certainly lacks quality. Also, don't display a list of items that you DON'T have. We won't return. read more

I wanted to try EVERYTHING in the case. We were looking for coffee in downtown Branson and took a chance on this quaint little cafe. From the moment we walked in, the sights and smells told us we made the right call. The lady running Transylvania Cafe is as sweet as the baklava I ordered (which was delicious, by the way). My bride chose the blackberry pastry: flaky, buttery, and chock full of fruit and cream cheese- so good, she threatened me when I tried to take more than one bite :) The only negative is that everything looked so amazing it was difficult to make a decision when we got up to the counter. We will be making sure Transylvania Cafe is on our itinerary for EVERY Branson visit until we've gotten to try everything! read more
