The room was very clean and well-equipped, featuring a flat-screen TV, a closet & large drawers. The kitchen had everything we needed, including an electric stove, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, full-sized refrigerator, and all necessary cups, plates, pots, cooking & eating utensils The bathroom was stocked with hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner (which was nice since some hotels use 2- or 3-in-1 cleansing products). There was also a hair dryer, laundry basket, iron & ironing board. The hotel also had a gym and a laundry room with complimentary washers and dryers. Additionally, there was a room offering complimentary coffee and tea, as well as snacks and other amenities for purchase. The only major downside was the odor. Both my room and my friend's room had a terrible smell. We couldn't pinpoint the source, & after a while, our nose adjusted to it. It would have been an issue had we stayed longer. If that had been the case, we would have definitely asked the front desk to address it or purchase air fresheners from the nearby Walmart (which, by the way, is huge). On a side note, Candlewood does not have electric car charging stations, but the hotel next door does offer free charging. However, be sure to ask before using it, and don't leave your car charging for too long, as they might tow it if you're not a guest at their hotel. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

I tried the guitar out for a few minutes to makeup my mind and verify it was still in good playing condition before purchase and the manager came over and asked if I knew they were closing now at 6pm. I said I was unaware and wanted to purchase the instrument and went to the counter. I pulled out $400 in cash and the manager got bwhind the counter and asked for a phone number and I told her I didn't have an account with the store or want to be added to a mailing list or anything. She said the system needs a phone number bwcause the guitar has a serial number. This was an uninsured, out of warranty used guitar of a discontinued model, so I said "just put any number in or your own", she said she wouldn't do that and asked instead for a full name and last name, I said I don't need or want to do that either, I just want to buy the guitar and she said she can't sell it because "it has a serial number" without elaborating. I have never had this experience before purchasing from them, or any other guitar store in decades, nor heard of such a thing and left without purchasing anything because I wouldn't allow them to put me on a mailing list or data collection service over a small cash purchase of an out of warranty used item.

We had to keep going back to the front desk in the cold. * Front desk service was poor. Couldn't print a receipt, took forever to find a working iron. * My expensive pillow + momme silk pillowcase went missing. Staff didn't even check the room when I called. * Outdoor green area was disgusting. Dog feces everywhere, clearly not maintained. * Strong cigarette smoke in a "Non‑Smoking" hallway. Made walking through the hall awful for anyone with asthma or sensitivities. * Guest laundry room was out of service the entire time, ( according to other reviews, for several month prior to our stay). Our family had three rooms total, and the experience was consistently bad across all of them. My husband will be traveling back weekly to handle his father's estate, but he'll be staying somewhere else from now on. This hotel needs serious attention from management and corporate. Cleanliness, maintenance, and basic guest service were all lacking.
