The service at this truck is pretty fast. I've never had to wait more than 10 min or so. You can see them making your order so you know it's fresh. The one downside is the ambiance. The food truck is right next to the street and there isn't any seating nearby. I usually take my order and go down the street to the Middle School to eat. The asada lacked flavor again good portions but just not what a real Mexican burrito should be. The red sauce wasn't hot and it was watery, just not sure I can return to this place, I was excited because several people recommended this spot and coming from California I was excited to eat some authentic Mexican food but far from it. I love spicy but I think for most people the spice level would be just right. At some point soon I'll try the tamales...they have a fairly large menu with meat and seafood dishes. Forget heavy burritos or overly sauced enchiladas, this place is the real deal. When you come to Esmeralda Grill, you should really focus on the meat heavy dishes, whether it be via land or sea. There are so many different options to choose from, from both categories. When thinking seafood, expect the full fish. If you find yourself with the fresh grilled tilapia, you will receive a delicious whole fish that tastes as if it was caught that morning. It is such a fantastic option. I also appreciate the camarones a la diabla, or Diablo shrimp. The shrimp are plump and juicy, the spice of the dish is excites your taste buds and is a great dish.
