Just like the other locations this one is fab. Lots of fun soda, candy and novelty items to choose from. Knowledgeable and engaging staff.

We stopped by while in the area on a Wednesday afternoon. It was a cute shop that had a little bit of everything. They had a soda pop wall, adult humor section, and even international snacks! I love trying different sodas. I wanted to try one of Grandpa Joe's sodas, but after smelling the nacho cheese candle my stomach was pretty upset lol. I didn't want to take any chances so I tried Joe's Mango Lemonade. My niece and cousins filled up boxes for $5 and were as happy as can be. I decided to pick up an Apple scorpion sucker for Andrew since he used to eat them as a kid. I considered buying the crickets they had, but I was afraid he'd make me eat them with him. They came in 3 flavors, one of which was bacon and cheese. I also picked out some Korean chips for Andrew to try something new. These were a hit and he finished them in one go. I also bought sour watermelon cotton candy to give it a try.

I love Grandpa Joe's, it reminds me of the old penny candy stores. Candy stores seem to be a thing of the past so it's nice to have one that seems to be thriving. They have tons of candy to choose from and even novelty items you can buy, like socks, signs, etc. it's a big store but it is not super spacious. If you go and there's a lot of people there it's a little crowded. They have boxes that you can fill with however much candy you want for $5 as long as you can close it. No taxes, just $5. Check them out!

This place is like something from a storybook. They have just about any flavor of soda you can imagine , for one. There are also crazy "treats", like bugs. Yes. If you're looking for a centipede lollipop, look no further. Aside from the strange and somewhat amazing items, you can find almost anything else. A pound of only banana runts? In the back room. An aisle of gummy bears? Towards the middle of the shop. Sour candies? There's a shelf in the middle of the shop, on the left. Homemade treats to the left of the register. Nothing appeared to be out of date or lingering. The selection was fantastic. I spent about twenty minutes in the shop just wandering and noticing. Very neat place.

I am convinced that there isn't a candy on earth that can't be found at this charming store! They have all of your childhood favorites and more! They also have the cutest and quirkiest sodas and a ton of fun toys that you never knew you needed. The owners are also extremely funny and kind making the entire shopping experience fun and enjoyable.

Giving Grandpa Joe's a 4 because the selection was amazing but the woman at the counter was anything but nice. It felt like we were bothering her being there. The selection is amazing. Great atmosphere and so many wonderful candies. Lots of old school candy which is perfect for gift giving for my dad and family. Large selection of sugar free candy. Purchased: Cereal marshmallows, Boyer Butterscotch Smoothie Peanut Butter Cups, and everyday candy.

I stopped in here this past weekend for small business saturday and I am so happy I did! What a great little shop. They have a fantastic selection of specialty candies and aoda. It is a throw back to the old "penny" candy shops. The owner was working and was extremely friendly; you can tell he has pride in his shop and loves what he does. Stop in...you will feel like a kid again!

They have a huge selection of chocolate based (and some non-chocolate) based candies. They also have a ton of sugar free options which is great for those watching their sugar. We tried a variety of treats which were tasty- I particularly enjoyed the chocolate caramels. I was a little disappointed that the kind girls working behind the counter couldn't explain what some of the candies were, but they did offer to let me try one which made up for it some. We also tried a box of their chocolate covered strawberries, but were a bit disappointed as they were a little sour and not very good. However the other chocolates we got were amazing and worth returning!

Candy, candy, candy!…read more I think it's great when a town has a place that makes their own sweets. But that's not all they do here. They are a fully functioning candy store. Set up kind of like one of those in a mall, but better. Of course I had myself a bag and filled it with all the essential candy one may chew on. Sour patch kids, chewy Sprees, gummy worms, Swedish fish, and the list goes on and on. They also have packages of candy too. No need to mix and match if that's not your thing. They make their own chocolates, and the display case inside was filled with very delightful items. I was tempted to ask for one of each, but I was able to keep myself in check. There are already packaged chocolates so you can just grab and go. If you want a certain mix of chocolates they are more than happy to oblige.
