This food is beyond amazing. We got a large pizza and I think it weighed 20 pounds. Very fresh and hot. Also did two deluxe steak subs and a meatball sub. All were very delicious no complaints here. Would definitely recommend. My order was ready when they said it would be asks the staff was friendly and helpful. This is a nice place but no sit down eating- just carryout and delivery and they are also well stocked on beverages- pop and beer etc. I'm going back for sure. read more

Issue: Midwest pizzas never have enough sauce. I ordered extra and that pizza was still dry as ever. Also, the pizza itself smelled bad. It smelled like a high school boys locker room. Not sure why. It was a pep, bacon pizza, nothing fancy, but the aroma was so unappetizing. The pizza was okay but it was such a turn off that I've never went back. This is, by far, the best pizza in town. They have cauliflower crust for pizza, which is good for those of us who are gluten-sensitive. It's delicious. This was my first try with this pizza and it was delicious. The Friday special is a XL pepperoni pizza. I didn't realize that the cheese covered the pepperoni at first glance but it's there hiding under all that wonderful thick cheese! We had some wings with the pizza of course and they were pretty good. Staff are super friendly. Nice that you can grab some cold beverages there to enjoy with the pizza. read more

We were in town visiting family and wanted to try some local pizza. We ordered 3 17" pizzas on a Friday evening. One pepperoni, one Special Deluxe, and one with pepperoni, banana peppers and onions. Our experience was very average. To start there was no menu online so we had to call to get a menu which they texted to us. We've included it here. We ordered the pizza and were able to pickup in 30 minutes. The pizzas were very heavy and looked pretty good (we forgot a picture!). Lots of cheese covering the toppings but the crust wasn't really visible. The crust was pretty flavorless in the places it wasn't burnt. The toppings were good but the crust majorly needs improved! My husband grew up here in Middletown and we came back for some family business and he ordered a pizza for us for dinner and went and picked it up. I'm not sure when or why pizza places decided to cut their pizza into squares, but please stop it! It's a pizza... Cut it into slices like a pizza. The toppings were all under the cheese. I would give zero stars if I could. Ordered 4 subs and Garlic bread and it cost almost $60. The food was so disgusting no one could even eat it-our dog wouldn't even eat the food-and when we called to tell them the food was horrible, they wouldn't even let us talk; just kept saying their food is excellent and nothing was wrong with it. We didn't want a refund, we were just telling them that they needed to work on it. The woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude, wouldn't let me finish a sentence, and kept repeating how everyone loves their food, so the problem was us. Their garlic bread is a soggy bun with garlic salt, the "steak" sub was made out of some unidentifiable chunk of meat-not even beef-and the sauce was awful beyond description. Their Italian sub is a ham and pickle loaf sandwich. If you want to spend $60 on dinner, order from Cousin Vinny's, because the food is actually good. Will never order from this place, again. And just so everyone knows, their food is so "good" that they knew exactly who we were, because we were the only order they had. read more

Seriously the best pizza in the area (Middletown, Butler County) - It has the same recipe and taste since I ate there as a kid. They arent stingy with the cheese and toppings like most pizza joints. The hoagies and sandwiches are great too. It is carryout only, no dine in. But the price and quality make it worth the drive there. I walked out with a large deluxe and a medium cheese for $26. I have lived in MIddletown off and on for 30 years, but I had never been to Shaddocks Pizza. A friend told me that they have the best sandwiches in the Universe. I ordered their famous steak sandwich and a Italian sub. Both of the sandwiches were the best I've ever tasted. The famous steak sandwich was outstanding. It had a nice thick cut of beef, they piled on the cheese and placed just the right amount of pizza sauce, onions and mushrooms on the freshly baked hoagie bread. Go check this place out. Best Pizza! Have been eating Shaddock's pizza since 1972. I don't live in Middletown anymore, but make a special side trip to Shaddock's if I get within 50 miles. Have even been known to have them freeze a dozen or so for me to take home. The pizza has always been cut into squares with the toppings underneath a mountain of cheese. The reason for only 3 stars is because of an employee at Shaddock's. While the pizza and steak hoagie were phenomenal, this employee's actions ruined the experience. At this time, Shaddock's is drive thru only. I pulled up and was behind 3 boys on bicycles. Their ages ranged from ~9 - 15. They ordered chips and drinks. The lady had an attitude with them from the start, and when she brought the order, she didn't have the youngest boy's chips. She said he didn't order them when I could clearly hear him order them from inside my car. Then, for no reason, told him to come back when he "grew up". The kids started to ride away and she stepped halfway out the door and in a very ghetto manner said "What? What's up??" like she wanted a confrontation with them. To their credit, they just rode away. There is absolutely no reason to treat anyone like that! And to be a service employee and act like that? She should be fired. I saw the boys after I left and let them know she was out of line and they did nothing wrong. That employee was just looking for trouble. Makes me question whether I want to give them anymore of my business when they have employees who don't treat people with respect. read more
