The initial booking interaction with the front office manager was excellent, and she went out of her way to make sure we were familiarized with the property, how to get in and out of the coded gate, and where to find our documents/keys, etc. as we were checking in late upon arrival. The cabin was beautiful, if not a tad outdated in the typical "Gatlinburg mountain-style" motif, and was settled nicely by itself without an immediate neighbor, so we felt very comfortable, secluded, and able to fully relax - the ideal weekend getaway environment! What was even better was the pricing. Our cabin was a 2 bedroom, 3 bath, fully stocked kitchen with all appliances, dishware, silverware, etc, and a living room area with 2 couches, a lounge chair, including a flat panel with tv access, and all across 2 stories. Everything was very well cleaned, the loft area was beautiful, and even had an in-room whirlpool-jetted tub. Everything they said they'd do, they did. Great service, nice location very close to the Fall Creek Falls State Park, and within 15 mins either way of the nearest town for additional options. Overall, we'd most certainly visit here again the next time we're looking for a hike along the beautiful falls nearby!

I'm used to hotels having a welcoming smell, but this one was very stale/old smelling. We get to our room and it gets worse. The room wreaks of bleach. It was so bad that it burned my eyes. There was also a slight smell of vomit so I'm not sure what happened in the room or if they just love cleaning with bleach. It was also a handicap room. The clothes rod was so low that our shirts hit the bottom. We had to find an another place to hang them. The clothes hooks were so low that our jackets dragged the floor. The towel holder in the bathroom was coming loose from the wall. Didn't wanna touch it much as we worried it would fall. And don't even get me started on the extremely messy paint job!!! The shower curtain was so high it only came to my knees. So everyone raved about their breakfast (mainly why I booked here). It was not good! The sausage was spongy. The biscuits were dry. The waffle batter was watered down so much that they were terrible. It's one of the worst I've had. Needless to say, we won't be staying there again. Hoping our stay was a one-off. It was disappointing. A high note was that I slept well and the room was spacious. It is definitely a 2 star hotel!

The lodge sits right inside the park, so you don't even have to drive to reach some of the hiking trails. You just walk out and start exploring. The restaurant was a huge benefit and good. Lodge restaurants can be hit or miss, but this one was solid. Breakfast was a basic continental spread, similar to a SpringHill Suites or Hampton Inn. Dinner was better. They brought hush puppies as bread service, and they were delicious. We had an excellent bacon burger and I ordered the grilled shrimp skewers. Shrimp was well cooked, juicy and seasoned well. The rooms were comfortable and modern. Provides a mini fridge and coffee service in the room. We had a balcony overlooking the water, which was one of my favorite parts of the stay. There's also a nice fire pit area outside the lodge for lounging in the evenings. Plenty of seating and group gathering space across the lobby. I'd highly recommend this place. We'll be back. It's only a few hours from Nashville, so it's an easy trip to plan.

The rates were slightly higher than the other motels off of the highway exit, but for the quietness, cleanliness, and enjoyment of your stay, I highly recommend going the extra mile and coming here. Alex and the lady who are at the front desk are super kind and accommodating. They cook to order breakfast that you order the night before (not sure if this changes during Bonnaroo). There's free tap beer and a fridge/freezer of beverages and ice cream. The room has been freshly updated. It was clean, the shower water is hot and pressure is great. Plenty of tv channels. But the beds and pillows - so comfortable! I have nothing negative to stay about my stay here. When I'm back in Manchester I'll stay here again.

Description says check in anytime after 3 pm and "will be greeted by front desk." There is no front desk. There is a doorbell outside a window that no one answered. After driving over 9 hours with my child and arriving after 11 pm there was no one available to check us in. Tried calling the hotel and did not get and answer. Tried calling the OYO 800# and they attempted to reach someone at the hotel and did not get an answer. No solution offered by OYO. Tried to find somewhere else to stay, but there was nothing nearby. There were not even any open gas stations/bussiness nearby where we could safely park. We slept in our car overnight. I knew I did not book the Ritz. I knew it was a "no tell Motel." I did not expect much in the way of quality as far as the room/facility was concerned, but I did expect to be able to check in and have a safe place to stay.

So our room was the kind with a separate bedroom and a living room with a door in between, so it worked perfectly for us (I like to sleep and my husband is a night owl).
