It took awhile for her to draw out the plans and communication via email and phone was a lot of phone tag and more drawn out than I would have liked. They installed all the cabinets, hardware, and countertops pretty quickly. I think it took them about three days. I'm sure it was an easier job because the house was vacant and my new floors weren't in yet. The morning they installed the new cabinets, Eileen reached out to me to let me know that the cabinet drawer pulls I picked out was no longer available due to insufficient quantities. I ended up having to pick some up at Home Depot. It was annoying and I feel like she should have checked their stock earlier. It would have given me more time to browse for drawer pulls. After the cabinets were installed, I reached out to Eileen to see if someone could come replace a cabinet drawer that had a very obvious dent to it and fix some scratches on cabinets. Her team did come out to do so and I appreciated that. However, I was disappointed considering the house was vacant and there shouldn't be those issues right off the bat. Eileen blamed my contractor who was installing backsplash. I considered that to be a possibility but based on where the dent and scratches were, it didn't make sense. I've lived in my new house for six months and I can now say that the quality of the cabinets aren't that great. There are a lot of nicks, in weird spots. It reflects the mediocre quality of the cabinets. Some of the cabinets are high up or rarely used, yet they have nicks and scratches. I invested in the magic corner cabinet and I wouldn't get it again. It's not as convenient as I expected. A lazy susan is more functional and cheaper. However, they didn't have a magic corner cabinet available in their showroom to see in person. The prices at TT cabinets was comparable to other quotes I received elsewhere. They were the only store that had the magic cabinet available. However, I wouldn't use them again for future projects solely based on the wear and tear of the cabinets.

One was easier to see but was very dirty from being outside so couldn't be inspected for damages. The other was sandwiched in between multiple other slabs so you could only see the top 5 inches or so of a 5'x 4' slab. But they wouldn't move it out to see unless you guaranteed to buy one of them (which you couldn't see) with a $100 deposit. So to see the slab, it will cost you $100. If there is damage or the colors don't match your tile (which I had in hand to match), you're out $100? For checking? I've been to numerous stone places throughout the inland empire and in OC and have never come across this policy. Interesting indeed.

I got many quotes for kitchen cabinets and their price was outstanding and the amount of effort and attention to detail was terrific. The other cabinet places I went to didn't seem like they had the time to talk to me or care about my actual layout but Cici made a free 3D rendering for my and brought up every issue to my attention. Everything was thought out ahead of time which I really appreciate instead of finding out during installation that a drawer wouldn't be able to open because of my dishwasher handle or something. The team made everything work even when I was difficult with a specific sink I wanted they altered the design to make it work. Highly recommend them. I'm doing the countertops myself so that's why there aren't countertops in my pictures

Poor Quality, Incomplete Installation & Lack of Communication…read moreVery disappointed with the quality of the cabinets and, especially, the installation. Unfortunately, what should have been an exciting kitchen renovation has turned into a frustrating experience. The workmanship and attention to detail were far below what I would expect from a professional cabinet company. The photos speak for themselves: Cabinet doors/handles were installed unevenly, with visible differences in alignment. Cabinet interiors were left with unfinished/incomplete work, including missing shelf-pin holes needed to properly adjust the shelves. There are visible holes, damage, and rough areas inside the cabinets that should not be present in a new installation. The backsplash/stone was installed without properly accommodating the existing electrical outlets, leaving the outlets without the necessary openings to install the cover plates. Several aspects of the installation appear unfinished and require additional work to make the kitchen properly functional and presentable. The installer had extreme difficulty communicating in English, which made it very difficult to explain concerns, discuss the installation, or have issues corrected as they were identified. What is particularly frustrating is that when I brought these issues to the company's attention, instead of simply taking responsibility for completing the installation properly, I was told that some of these issues were supposedly someone else's responsibility or would require additional payment. I paid for a professional cabinet installation. I should not have to accept visibly poor workmanship, incomplete installation, or pay additional money to have basic aspects of the installation completed correctly. The pictures included with this review are not minor cosmetic complaints--they show the actual condition and quality of the work I received. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company carefully inspect every cabinet, door, shelf, handle, outlet opening, and finished surface before making final payment. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. Very disappointed with the workmanship, communication, and the company's handling of the issues.

I simply abhor having to pen a negative review about a business and it's owner that we had chosen…read moreto trust to act for our expressed benefit. However, if a single person takes the requisite time to read this review and heeds to what I am about to delineate, the value of this review will have served it's designed intent. First and foremost, if you should decide to go with Rustico Renovations, GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING (down to the smallest detail) because, even if David promises you a something (an anything), if it is not in writing, he will claim that his promises were "never part of the contractual deal." In brief, you're screwed! if he asks you to trust him--DON'T!!! His spoken words appear as empty and meaningless as the promises he crafts out of them. David is charming. There is no question about that, but he is a TOTAL shill, dripping with pleasantries and "trust me's" and way many "group hugs" to boot. As aforementioned, get every little detail in writing, because David appears incapable of rising to the crown of his spoken word. A few examples? Oh sure--why not? David promised (in word, not in writing) that our new baseboards would be painted by the subcontractor before they were installed. Not only did I end up having to paint them, in order to move the project along, he charged us for the work I performed, and we had to pay for the paint. The same held true for the wall one of his subcontractors repaired and was supposedly "paid" to paint. Once again, in order to move the project forward, I ended up painting both the wall and the trim, and we had to buy all the paint. Yet, he still charged us for both the paint and my labor. His original "spoken" promise was that of assuring us that the project would only take a week. But then, it got pushed into 2 weeks, due to his mis-measurements and mis-calculations which, once again, we were led to have to pay for. The reason why I ended up painting the baseboards, the better portion of the repair that was repaired and the trim was simply because I did not want his "promise" of 1 week to stretch into 3 weeks, where our project appeared to be heading. When one of his subcontractors discovered a leak behind our pedestal sink, he and I made a deal for him to return back and resolve the problem for $150.00. When David got wind of "our deal", even though it was NEVER a part of the original contract, he not only called up this subcontractor and act to ream his ____, but had the audacity to call me up and demand that I go through him for EVERYTHING. Apparently, David not only thinks he owns his subcontractors, but his customers. Moreover, David ended up charging us 2X's the amount for the repair of the leak and an additional $325.00 to repair the flushing mechanism on our toilet. (We could have purchased a brand new toilet for what he charged us). it is a truly sad tale that you have to go through Rustico Renovations to get at the subcontractors, because their workmanship was rather brilliant. Okay . . . There did appear a few glitches and some inconveniences here-n'-there but, as aforementioned, their workmanship was spot on. Reiterating: Get everything in writing (to the detail). Expect delays. Expect to pay more for David's inability to take proper measurements or live up to his spoken word. If there is a something extra you discover you want fixed or repaired, once you project is set in motion, find a handyman to take care of it at a reasonable cost. Otherwise, you will pay waaaaay more than what the repairs are actually worth. And, good luck with your project!

Each time I place an order and schedule a pick up date, they confirm that my order is ready for pick up but when I arrive, I find that nothing has been done and my order has not even been picked. On one trip. I waited 3 hours to pick up my order, another trip was 2 hours to pick up flooring that had also been previously ordered and paid for, and now this day takes the cake. I waited 5 and a half hours to pick up cabinets I ordered one month ago, called to let them know when I need it and stopped by the showroom one week prior to confirm face to face that I'm coming the following week to pick up. Only to find that nothing was done to fulfill my request. They even confirmed over the phone for me that my order is ready for pick up prior to driving over.
