The whole process was great; from my initial meet/design with team, scheduling install, to the friendly, fast install.

We used Granite and Marble Specialties in Kent, WA for our new kitchen countertops and fireplace hearth. From the initial discussion with Mark, to the installers (Arturo, Cesar and Timeo) the entire process was awesome. My new countertops and backsplash are beautiful, the hearth looks spectacular. Their selection of stone blew us away, and I found the perfect quartz to go with my newly painted kitchen cabinets. I would go to them in a heartbeat if I ever need new stonework in my home.

    Just after the install.

My wife and I chose to work with Granite & Marble Specialties for our new countertop installation after visiting with several granite countertop contractors. We were initially drawn to the large variety of stone in their warehouse. While the selection of stone lured us in, the customer service, fabrication, and installation were all top notch and have made us customers for life! My wife and I are exceedingly pleased with the final outcome and know we'll be well supported should we have any needs down the road. We highly recommend Granite & Marble Specialties!

I had such a good, human, helpful and pain free experience working with Granite and Marble Specialties. They went above and beyond in helping me understand what I wanted, really listening and following up to make sure we had a good plan, providing me advise on how to keep costs low. The entire process from finding my stone to installation was maybe 3 weeks? Very reasonable. I had the pleasure of working with Nayyef, who's design eye made me feel confident that my vision was understood. He helped me think through elements that I hadn't thought of. I wish I had more counters to put in so I could work with him again. Everyone I worked with was extremely professional, kind and honest. I've had struggles in renovation because I sometimes feel yanked around or taken advantage of, but not here. Their team make me feel respected and confident in my decisions.

We were doing a full renovation of our home, including a full kitchen remodel. We decided to use Quartzite and understood there would be a number of challenges ahead, including very tight budget and time constraints. We had several contractors working simultaneously, and inevitably hit budget overruns and time delays. We interviewed and worked with several other major countertop vendors, and not only did their customer service leave much to be desired, but our selected vendor fell through at the last minute because they oversold their material. When we reached out to Evergreen, from the start everything was different. We were dealing directly with the owner, who supported us through the whole process, from slab selection to fitting, installation and everything in between. The quote was highly competitive and market-aware, payment was very straight forward and, though we had minor unforeseen issues, they were completely and masterfully handled. Even after the installation was done, we needed help with an issue that was totally outside his responsibility. In the end, we came out ahead of our remodel schedule, within budget, and with a fantastic kitchen. Truly, cannot recommend it further!

Honestly, my last time here was back in 2022 when I needed furniture myself, so I don't come here very often. The building itself is massive and huge, housing many sections filled with furniture and tools of different kinds like for the kitchen, living room and bathroom, along with rooms for lighting and the warehouse where you can grab your stuff. This isn't even the bulk of it, and we spent a while in here while also getting some dessert! DISCLAIMER: If you're here for just food and/or know how IKEA works, you can skip the next two paragraphs of this review. When you get in, you can pick up a brochure outlining the approximate layout of the building's section and a small pencil. For almost every room, the larger furnitures have numbers on them that correspond to the parts you pick up yourself from their warehouse section, which comes just before the cash registers. There are smaller objects like small lamps, nuts and bolts, fixtures and pots that you can just pick up and put in your cart/bag. Even though each area is numbered a certain way and the map on the brochure looks linear, you can skip sections via shortcuts placed throughout. Otherwise, you follow the nicely placed arrows guiding you through all the sections and just enjoy the placements of some of the things you wanna get. I found myself oogling over the kitchen and bedroom setups every once in a while! Once you're done with all of that, you can purchase your items either through self checkout or at the registers where staff help you. Some of them also stay by the self-checkout areas and assist those who have trouble with some of the features. Some simple tips I have for grabbing objects: - Depending on what you get, make sure you grab ALL the parts for the stuff you get in the warehouse! They're usually clearly labeled but it's easy to miss some of them. - My friend used the IKEA app and came prepared ahead of time with a long list of items he wanted. He used some of the computers spread around the store to help him find which specific room carried the object(s) he was looking for. - Writing the numbers for larger goodies isn't always helpful as you might not remember what an object looks like when you reach the warehouse. I usually take photos of that number along with the object so I can gauge if I'm getting the right things. After doing all that shopping, we stopped by the small cafe just after the cash registers and got ourselves their frozen yogurt, which essentially tastes like vanilla ice cream but has a slightly different consistency from regular ice cream, something I can only describe as being a lot smoother than ice cream and a little tart. The cone it's served in is your standard ice cream cone. From friends who love going here, they advise to go during weekdays when it's not as packed, and to not try the overhype Swedish meatballs either. Since I'm a foodie, I'm gonna do the latter next time I come here!

i love IKEA whether i'm actually shopping or just wandering around for fun, it's always a good…read moretime. there's so much variety when it comes to furniture and decor, and honestly, my entire room is from ikea, which says a lot about how much i love it. everything is affordable in my opinion and good quality as well. a bang for your buck i'd like to say. this visit, i finally tried their famous swedish meatballs and i really liked them. my boyfriend wasn't into it at all, but it hit for me. it lowkey reminded me of the tv dinners i grew up eating in the best, most comforting way. nothing fancy, just simple and satisfying. but usually i always end up with their ice cream cones for $1.50 after spending $500 on furniture lol

Krafter's land only sales 'standard' cabinets. A standard Lay-Susan is 35 X 35 with a door opening of about 12-inches on each side. .. so.... How did my NON-Standard 33 X 33" lazy Susan come with 6" openings?.. 3-to- 6" inches less than the standard opening? I have three-Blind-Corners. Krafter's COULD-NOT accommodate a cabinet that would fill this whole area. They wanted me to accept a cabinet that would only fill part of this space. Hmmmm! Aren't blind corners a standard? And they don't accommodate? The planner's ambition seemed to desire to fill my walls with cabinets... it did not matter if the lower cabinets were aligned with the upper cabinets... did not matter. Putting in a two-door cabinet on one wall and putting two individual single cabinets across the way (thus minimizing my storage space).. and the there are the spacers .... An inch here, three inches there.. all eating up my precious storage space. Oh it Looks Gorgeous.... But nothing is aligned--- 4 cabinets up top, three on the bottom and none of the lines match. The cabinets themselves are beautiful!.... And I am a baker. I asked for roll-out shelves/drawers.... My baking shelf has 10# white flour, 10# wheat flour, 5# of both white and brown sugar..... guess what?.... Their roll-out shelves can-NOT carry this kind of a load... this load will cause dragging and musfunction. Hmmmm And the final clincher..... you buy- puck up and install--- they are yours. No returns. But they are pretty!

We felt comfortable with Brad after meeting and talking a few times agreed to renovate our nearly 60 year old home with Brads assistance. My wife and I were clueless how to go about this project, designe, contractors, materials all were something seen on HDTV not real life. Brad walked us through a design after closely listening to our needs and ideas. He was able to guide us to find the perfect layout, material and a great contractor, Abode Contracting. The entire renovation came out beyond our dreams. Friends who visit are stunned how the house has been transformed. We are not wealthy the cost was not cheap but the results were amazing and a good value for what we now have. Our interior is as if you were in a new high end home. What we best liked was how Brad provided a layout that matched our wishes but he guided us to adjust it to save money and best use the area with up to date products. The most valuable service was Brad helped us choose each tile, counter type, appliances and more. We met a number of times at several vendors and got exactly what best met our needs. Brad explained at length exactly what each product matched another and would be the best value overall and fit our needs. We could have gone to costco or a box store if we wished to. Those higher end vendors gave a discount including Fergusons making it affordable a nice savings. The bid for design was kept no overruns or hidden costs even though we expanded the scope of the renovation. Abode Contracting owner Mark was also easy to work with and his team were wonderful. We lived in our home nearly the entire time of the renovation and up to the end still liked the team. We now have a modern home who's value has increased dramatically.
