We worked with Evergreen Granite this summer and it was truly 5-star. I highly recommend them. Some background. We were doing a full renovation of our home, including a full kitchen remodel. We decided to use Quartzite and understood there would be a number of challenges ahead, including very tight budget and time constraints. We had several contractors working simultaneously, and inevitably hit budget overruns and time delays. We interviewed and worked with several other major countertop vendors, and not only did their customer service leave much to be desired, but our selected vendor fell through at the last minute because they oversold their material. When we reached out to Evergreen, from the start everything was different. We were dealing directly with the owner, who supported us through the whole process, from slab selection to fitting, installation and everything in between. The quote was highly competitive and market-aware, payment was very straight forward and, though we had minor unforeseen issues, they were completely and masterfully handled. Even after the installation was done, we needed help with an issue that was totally outside his responsibility. Expert designer, quality work and completed when promised! We talked to 5 different local companies and decided to use Evergreen and glad we did. It started with working with Steven - he helped us tremendously through the process of selecting the cabinets, countertop and sink for our kitchen remodel. We ended up picking cabinets that were custom made and Evergreen handled all the work on submitting he order to the factory. Most important was the installation week. The cabinets showed up on a Monday morning, demo of old cabinets started the same day, followed by cabinets, countertop and sink installation and then getting the plumbing hooked up. All arranged by Evergreen and done as promised by end of day on Friday. this was critical since we had 30 family members to our house for Easter dinner on the following Sunday. The only thing I'm not too happy about was price, they are definitely between the mid to high range. But hey! kitchen remodels these days are incredibly expensive. I came in looking for an updated pantry and a couple cabinets to accompany it. I made Robert Perez aware of my limitations, mostly being a kitchen that has a lower than standard ceiling. I also made him aware of the appliance upgrade that would further limit my space. He sold me the fixtures and told me if there was an issue, he would work with me to make sure I was happy. The panty required that the toe kick be removed, but based on the height of the ceiling , we knew this going in. However, the cabinet above the fridge was too big and the adjacent cabinet was not large enough. When I came back, I spoke with Steve who advised he was a co-owner. I told him about the issues and asked what my options were and he asked me to go back and take another look to see if I could make it work. If it didn't work, he would work with me. He gave me his card and told me he was generally in office and there would be no problem. My handyman reiterated that there just wasn't the space due to the low ceiling. He advised that most business take back product if unopened, and these were unaltered or opened, as they sat for nearly 3 week waiting for my handyman to start the work. On my 3 return visits, Steve was never on site (at least, that what Robert claimed), and despite asking for a call back, he never called, and every time I called, I got a voicemail or some excuse about Steve being offsite and unavailable. Apparently avoiding me was Steve's solution to working with me and selling me product that was questionable, was also an acceptable business practice. On my final attempt to resolve this matter, Robert became irritated, even though I had been nothing but courteous and polite. He said, it was a small order, and they normally only do large orders, so apparently the level of service depends on the amount of money you spend. He also advised that it took a month for me to bring the matter forward. Not true, it did take more than a couple weeks, but I brought it forward and from that point on, I was either asked to have my handyman take another look, or avoided all together. Be careful with these guys. I take people at their word and when you advise you will work with me, that instills a level of confidence that options will be on the table. I made clear I had concerns and reservations, but was assured, if the product didn't work, an exchange, refund or return would be on the table. I didn't want to return anything, but one cabinet just had no options and after I left my review, Steven refused to exchange the product. I have never had an issue returning unopened product, unless you clearly have it posted you don't accept returns, then I would do business with you. As you can see, this took close to two months. That was two month of waiting for my call to be returned. Weeks of daily visits only to be told ownership was not available and it was only after they ran out of excuses or patience that things took a turn. The owner claims I said there would be hell, that is complete crap. I don't know if the untrustworthy Robert Perez made that up, or if Steven did, but I'm educated and don't speak like that. I do believe I said there was going to be a problem, but "Problem" and "Hell" are two different words and had someone told me there was going to be hell, I would have called the police, because that is an actionable threat. This all occurred Summer 2019 and if you look, there hasn't been any positive reviews proving these guys are liars and fall short of a standard of business. Steven dug in, banned me from the store, OH NO! You mean after lying and cheating me, I can't come back? Robert literally cried after his name appeared in my complaints to the BBB and Attorney Generals office, not to mention, he called me, "A Little Bitch" for doing it. When you avoid someone trying to resolve a matter, it shows a lack of integrity, honesty and trust. The best part about this is a bad review is a bad review. Does it matter if it's a $2,000 or a $50,0000? If you can't resolve the "Small" orders, what hope is there that you will resolve the larger ones. In the end, there was "Hell", one hell of a story about how not being true to your word gets you the wrong kind of attention and how refusing to resolve a $500 order cost your thousands of dollars in potential business. Steve can make all the claims he wants about what I did or said, but the facts are simple. I was mislead on the product I needed, how it would be handled and avoided when it was clear Evergreen was responsible. In order to save face, lies were made up to make it look like I wasn't reasonable, but at no point during this episode was I anything other than respectable, polite or patient. When it was clear I was dealing with Scam Artist, I alerted the proper agencies for reporting and none of those facts are in dispute. Mom always said, "Lying is a tool of the ignorant", and these guys are certainly tools. Yelp really needs to allow zero star reviews! read more

Found this place after taking the "scenic" GPS guided route to Ikea and was really impressed. As their showroom was quite large with a wide selection of counter tops, tiles, and cabinets. Which was a little overwhelming given that my wife and I are just starting to figure out what we want. That said, the staff was quite friendly and very knowledgeable about the types of materials, types of options, and how things will wear over time. They were helpful in designing the kitchen layout and came out to measure before the final step of ordering. They were extremely professional, polite and reliable. Most of the prices are clearly displayed, but for the odd specialty item, the manager doesn't hesitate to look it up or call a wholesale rep. The displays are awesome and the variety is good. 4-1/2 Stars! We had our kitchen done by Evergreen Granite & Cabinet in mid Nov. We couldn't have been happier with Steven and his crews. We've gotten so many compliments from friends and family members during the holidays. We first saw their store while heading to Ikea and decided to check them out a week later. We are so glad that we did. They got a very nice showroom. Steven was very helpful explained the different types of cabinets offered (premade, semi custom & fully custom cabinets) and how they are constructed. He also explained the difference between quartz and granite. We scheduled a consultation & measurement at our home; explained what we wanted with the new cabinets (garbage pullout, spice rack, tray dividers and pullout trays). He's very knowable of the options they offer. We went back the next day to go over the new kitchen layout at the store, which he showed us in 3D. We were impressed with design and most of all; the prices for the cabinet & countertop were less than what we budget and less than what we got from at Ikea or Home Depot. We opted for a pre-made shaker style cabinet and quartz countertop. We placed the order a week later after a slight design change (wanted to get it done before Thanksgiving). Steven came back for a second measurement to make sure everything will fit. We scheduled the install for a week or so later (premade cabinet are stocked that's how they can do it so quickly). A crew shows up the scheduled date; took down the old cabinets and countertop and installed the new cabinets the same day. One cabinet was the wrong size or didn't fit and it was replaced on the same day. A different crew installed the countertop without any issues the next day. Both crews were polite and courteous. We noticed a couple of scratches on a cabinet door a few days later. They tried fixing it but ended up replacing it. The Quartz countertop was cut on site in our driveway. We bought a Kohler faucet from them as well and have them hookup the plumbing too. All in all, it took 3 days for our new kitchen. We were impressed how well & quickly everything got installed. We'll remodel our master bathroom this summer. We'll have Steven give us a quote to tile the entire bathroom with new cabinets and countertop. We would absolutely recommend Evergreen Granite & Cabinet to anyone. We have referred a couple of friends already. Love our new kitchen, especially the wife! Good luck with your remodel. read more

After getting quotes from a couple of different suppliers, we decided to go with Evergreen for the cabinets and countertops, both due to their larger selection than other dealers in the area, and their high level of helpful service. Notably, they were the only supplier we talked to that included installation costs in their bid (with all the charges nicely broken down). Steven worked closely with me to design the layout of our kitchen, making lots of helpful suggestions, then communicated with my general contractor to organize things. The delivery and installation dates he gave me were spot on, which helped with scheduling the rest of the project. In the end, everything turned out beautifully, and we're very happy. read more

Zero stars - beware of their bait and switch tactics!! Evergreen gave us a bid then said we needed 60% down. After we reluctantly did so, he said to go to a warehouse to pick out our material for which he quoted. When we got there the salesperson said she the staff pulled our material and it looked fabulous were her words! Every single piece of our option A was pock-marked with chips holes!! The sales person stated she how shocked and surprised she as at the defects. then she proceeded to waste our time for awhile showing us less expensive garbage before walking us to the more expensive isle. After we picked out a potential substitute she commented that her GM would have to talk w evergreen about how to handle the additional cost. He later phoned to tell me that WE would be charged for the additional cost vs their absorbing it for not having our initial option--we argued for a while and I threatened attorney involvement before he gave me back my deposit--save yourself the heartache of dealing with this con and shop elsewhere. read more
