We replaced our granite countertops with quartz from Sanyuan. I am very pleased with the outcome - they were competitively affordable and the installation process was a dream. The installation team was so kind and cleaned up after themselves each day. We love our new countertops and kitchen island. My only feedback was that the invoicing was super scary because of all the disclaimers they put in there to protect themselves against dissatisfaction. It made me a bit weary at first but they really came through in their execution. I would buy from them again and would recommend in a heartbeat. read more

I made a big mistake to remodeling my kitchen here and paid almost $20,000. Amy will try to make money from you as she can , she is scammer. They will ask you to pay a mistake that's they created. They did crack the sink during installation but Amy give me an excuses that due to cold weather the sink crack, I leave the sink inside of my house and alway warm so this is really ridiculous. I have photos after installation with big crack on sink. Now, Amy ask me to pay the labor $750 + tax + materials to install the new sink. I already paid some mistake that they created before but this issue I won't pay for this ridiculous request again. I am so regret to invest my money here. One year ago we purchased Quartz countertops from Sanyuan and they are completely covered in stains, blotches, and rings. We do not use abrasive chemicals to clean our countertops and we are responsible with the way they are used. We never leave standing water on the countertops and they are wiped down each evening and our home is professionally cleaned monthly. One evening I set out a drying mat on the kitchen countertop (sounds reasonable) and set bottles out to dry as I was washing them. As soon as I was finished washing them all I took them off the drying mat and there were rings on the countertop we still are unable to remove today. This is all in the matter of about 20 minutes. One photo shows a silicone oven mitt- room temperature (not hot or warm) and it had been set down on the countertop for maybe 15 minutes. When I lifted it up, there were lines left on the counter that we are still unable to remove today. I set a pot on the countertop after washing it, and when I was finished unloading the dishes I went to put the pot away and saw that there was a clear ring left on the countertop where it was sitting and we still are unable to remove it today. Other than the obvious ring marks shown throughout the countertops, they are covered in cloudy grey blotches all over the place. I have no idea what this is from and they seem permanent as we haven't been able to get them out. They are not in just a few places- they are spread throughout the entire countertop as if they've created a whole new pattern and color. The things that we have seen occur to these countertops in the ONE year we have owned them have made it very clear that these are not made correctly and are low quality. They are not able to withstand any sort of usage in a kitchen, whether it's setting normal everyday kitchen items down onto them or wiping them down daily with standard not abrasive kitchen cleaners and/or scrub daddy, per the recommendation of Sanyuan Installers. We wrote to Sanyuan and included pictures, and all they have replied with are google links to articles about stains in countertops and how to remove them (all which have not worked). I cannot in good faith recommend this product, or this company, as they do not stand by their products. They have zero manufacturer info for us- we were told they are "unbranded" with no warranty. Once you have paid them- all you get are google links for assistance. They are not willing to lift one finger or take an ounce of responsibility for this happening to products that they sell. We are reasonable consumers and never love to leave negative reviews, but these countertops were a very large investment and we feel extremely remorseful for how this purchase turned out. It has been one year since they were installed. We will likely have to purchase all new countertops elsewhere. Very disappointing from the product to the lack of customer service and backing up products they sell. read more

I just had two quartz bathroom vanity countertops installed by Sanyuan which I was referred to by our neighbor. The pricing was great compared to another quote I received from another highly rated stop further down 4th Ave. I was most impressed by the installer who was not only extremely nice but took care of all (very minor) issues during the installation. The installer was also the person who came out for the pre-install measurements and addressed a too-large sink issue with a narrow vanity. Everything looks great and has lasted the test of time... but do not try to follow up with any problems unless you want to face a brick wall. We had an in cabinet garbage storage unit installed. Amy informed us that they will not send someone out to fix it and our only remedy was her giving us instructions on how to repair it ourselves. The designer on our project chose Sanyuan for cabinetry based on a positive referral. I am certain this will be the last time she works with Sanyuan. Of the 10 base cabinets we received, three were seriously out of square and had to be racked back into shape. The boxes on all were poorly constructed. The six upper cabinets came with doors left without panels for the insertion of leaded glass lights. Every rail/stile joint on each of these doors was flawed. Sanyuan agreed to replace the six cabinet doors, but the next set of doors came in equally flawed. The designer and owner of the project sat with a Sanyuan cabinet designer to draw out the project. They informed him of the precise height and width of the refrigerator, for an enclosure and cabinet above. The designer placed an order for a cabinet above the refrigerator that was 12 inches too tall. The paperwork I received had drawings, but no measurements or elevations. Sanyuan refuses to accept any responsibility for their designer's error. The hinges on the cabinets are rudimentary and do not permit sufficient adjustment to align all cabinet doors. Some drawer faces were not installed on center, so the drawer faces do not align with the cabinet doors below. In all, the quality of the cabinets was extremely disappointing, and certainly not reflective of the quality of cabinetry displayed in their showroom. It would have been helpful if they could have compensated for the poor quality of their cabinetry by Nordstrom-like customer relations, but unsurprisingly the quality of their customer service is little different from the quality of their cabinetry. Case in point: today, one of their representatives delivered the third set of upper cabinet doors to the job site. Finally, the rail/stile joints were adequately filled and painted. However, the rep demanded that we sign a release absolving Sanyuan of any further liability for the quality of the upper cabinet doors. When I refused this unreasonable request, she threatened to take the doors back with her. She also demanded that she be allowed to bring in her own contractors to swap the doors out, which contain expensive leaded glass lights and carefully installed pulls that I do not want to trust anybody else to touch. The rep also claims, via a fact sheet she delivered with the doors, that visible rail/stile joints are acceptable because wood is hygroscopic and will swell and shrink with moisture, so that they are basically unavoidable. This, in my cabinet making experience, is nonsense. If these joints are adequately machined and adequately filled with the proper glue, they will not come apart. Moreover, once the wood is painted, the doors become moisture stable and any swelling or shrinking is inconsequential. The "fact sheet" is a CYA laugh-fest. Perhaps our experience with Sanyuan is uncommon, but consider yourself warned. read more

Our contractor referred us to sanyuan. Sanyuan did an incredible job on install, and they were even able to come back when our cabinet doors would keep hitting our oven and fix the issue. At first, I thought the quartz needed shaved off a bit to move the oven over a bit, but it was actually the cabinet doors being unaligned. The workers were able to go above and beyond and align them properly after some trial and error. They didn't need to do this since their job is just installing the countertops, but they did and made sure we were taken care of. I was really glad I thought to search Yelp to find a counter top place in SODO, because I was pretty unhappy with the other places I'd visited up to that point. Sanyuan came up with great Yelp reviews (thanks Yelpers) and I can personally say I was as impressed with them as the rest of you. I went in 2 times before purchasing. The staff during both visits were helpful, tolerant of my 2 young and somewhat unruly children, and were great communicators. I never felt pressured towards one product over another. They were also able to do my install only 2 weeks after I chose my product, which was way shorter than every other place had quoted me. The prices are less than their competitors, but the service experience far superior. The installer was also very professional and did a phenomenal job with a somewhat complicated sink situation. Recently I had the pleasure of updating my kitchen. I had visited Sanyuan a few months prior and had talked with David. Thereafter, re-visited them got an updated quote and signed them up. They were punctually at my place on the set date to install the cabinets and returned the following day to install the granite. A few days later, I noticed something amiss and we set up an appointment again for their team to return and fix the problem which was done in less than 30 minutes. The job was very professionally done, the crew took special care not to ruin my newly installed floor and cleaned up both inside and outside the home. I wish they would also do a complete job starting from the teardown, add the finishing touches (repainting/patching) and take care of electrical/plumbing and installation of kitchen appliances. Asked me about what I wanted and need and have several options, only downfall is that there wasnt much selection of granite, quarts or other types of counters. I say this because I saw A LOT more in the other granite counter stores nearby. But I give this place 4 stars because of how great I got service for a quote and how professional she was! The other store's quality and service have gotten worse over the years so I decided to try Sanyuan for my most recent kitchen remodel. What a difference! Amy, the manager, is always super responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. Cabinets were delivered on time, no issues, and installed according to schedule. The quality of the cabinets are better than other stock chinese cabinets you will find in the area and the service made all the difference. Went to G&S down the road from Sanyuan first and they said they were unable to make a specific cut on the template. Figured I would try Sanyuan and wasn't disappointed! I went in this place several times. These people do not greet you or care if they have your business. I talked with Amy on the phone, she was the most arrogant salesperson I've known. After telling me that it would take her 14 days just to give me an estimate, she said,"you can see why since you have been in here many times and I am always busy".
