We have been going to Granite Bay for years. They have always gone above and beyond to care for our animals. Most recently, our boxer had a mass on his ear that needed to be removed. Dr. Bradley was meticulous in the removal of the mass. It was important that she removed as much as she could (we needed clear margins from pathology) while also paying careful attention to arteries. I have been bringing my dog here for 6+ years and have been helped by almost every staff member. We receive the same care and attention no matter who is seeing us for an appointment! The front desk gals work SO hard (you know that phone is ringing non-stop) and they always answer with a smile. Amber at the front desk has been there through all the ups and downs of my pet's health and I honestly feel comforted by her over the phone and in person. Side note- I actually really love the new phone system they are using, it is super efficient. The techs are knowledgable and attentive, I feel like they treat my dog like their own. My dog is so spoiled by them that she can't wait to leave the exam room to walk around the back with all her tech friends. We get to see Shannon often and I feel so confident to leave my dog with her- she is always looking out for us and has made every visit so fun and personable. If my dog is on the schedule last minute, Shannon goes out of her way to say hi and make sure everything is okay. She is basically family at this point. It means so much to us to know that the staff cares this much! We love seeing Dr. Zucca and Dr. Bradley- I feel like they have made it their mission to find the best treatment plans for my dog's GI and skin allergy issues. They have taken her whole health into consideration every time we try a new supplement/medication/food and have ALWAYS been so good at following up personally to see how everything is going. To me, that makes GBVC the best, I feel like I am known there and they really care about my dog. If I am in the front, waiting for an appointment or picking up food, you can hear how well they know almost every single person and pet that walks through the door. They greet folks as they walk through the door by name and I am always hearing them say "We've already got you all checked in!". That's because they know their patients and they care. Let me save you the time, find another vet! Granite Bay Vet has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. So bad that I took the time out to write this. (which I have never done.) First of all, pulling into their parking lot a piece of metal from their building (their building is currently under construction) punctured the driver's side rear tire on the sidewall and instantly caused a flat tire. I mentioned this the multiple staff members (including the vet, the office manager and the vet assistant) at Granite Bay Vet, with them having zero respect for me or my car. (Thank goodness another patient there helped me with my tire so I could get home because the staff there could careless.) Instead, they said "We will make sure this doesn't happen again." Next, the reason for my visit. I took my German Shepard here for his rash. He gets it very often and has been to multiple amazing vets who have helped him. His condition is ongoing due to allergies. We just moved to Granite Bay and I wanted to find a vet to get established with. The vet went off of everything my old vet had in the records and didnt even treat my dog. When I called to make the appointment everything seemed great. The lady on the phone told me they have to charge me $65 for the visit but the fee will also include anal gland cleaning and nail trimming (I told her we only need the nail trimming). However, when we came to his appointment they wanted to charge me another $12 for a nail trim. I mentioned this to the office manager and she told me how I was wrong and attempted to tell me why I am wrong. I then told them to give me my dog and I don't want them treating him for anything. They don't seem to know what is up or down at this place. No way was I going to trust them to help my dog. Obviously, this place is a mess. There is no accountability on their part, nor is any of their staff on the same page with each other. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else; save yourself the headache. Update: refund for a visit and new tires. I appreciate the business stepping up and taking accountability after emails, phone calls, and my Yelp review. read more

We changed vets and decided to come here after hearing great things about them. We needed to find a vet that would be able to see our dog right away because he had bit a growth off his tail right before we went on vacation. They were able to squeeze us into the schedule and get our dog seen. They tested the growth just to be sure it wasn't bad and explained everything they were doing and any concerns they had. We then brought our other dog here and Dr. Blummer was super thorough with her appointment. She found things with our dog that explained a lot of issues she's had for awhile. Our old vet never looked in that much detail at her. She ended up having a foot fungus and that's why she licks her feet. This morning we woke up to find our cat was having trouble breathing and Donna was able to get us in right away to see Dr. Blummer. They put him on oxygen and gave him a mild sedative that way we can calm his breathing and get him to Marqueen easily to be seen. Overall, I would recommend this vet, especially if you aren't happy with your current vet. They truly show that your animal matters to them and look at every aspect of your animal, not just what your complaints are. read more

My goal was to move our two standard poodles to a quiet, tranquil, more relaxed vet experience, and much closer to our home. Granite Bay Vet Clinic certainly checked those boxes, so I decided to make the move away from our current and extremely busy (think big city ER) to the much smaller/calmer/personal (think peaceful country store) environment. I was so very pleased. The clinic was clean. The vet tech was engaging. Dr. Lynda Zucca was the perfect fit for our dogs...she was engaging (read them like a book), explained her philosophy/training and was conservative with surgery/treatments. I called your office 4 times between 3 and 6 pm on the 1st of July, putting myself in line for a return call that I never received, and left messages on the next three attempts. I did not post this review until after 6 pm, after 3 hours of futile attempts to reach your office. The one message I did get from one of your staff, which I missed because I decided to try calling another vet, stated that your appointments were booked into September, so depending on the date in September, I would not have been able to make an appointment for 2-3 months. Coupled with the difficulty of even getting through to your office to make an appointment, I feel that you are doing your existing clients a disservice by booking up that far into the future. In other words, maybe you should stop accepting new clients until your schedule is more reasonable. If one of my animals was sick, I would not want to wait that long for your clinic to see him/her. That is, if I could even get through. I posted with that in mind, having decided that I could not risk putting my little ones in a situation like that. So no hard feelings about not doing business with me. I wish you luck as well. read more

Dr Bradleys reply to my review solidifies my experience. In her reply she says she listened to my concerns -- while I expressed she did not in my review -- therefore displaying my case in point. The point being (in case it's not obvious) I did not feel heard. In my opinion a good response would be "We are so sorry what can we do to make it better". Furthermore, she makes it seem like she offered all of these appointments, etc and I refused them, which simply isn't the case. My dog didn't need them at the time and also I had lost faith in Dr Zucca and already taken her to MarQueen for better care. This is a forum for my opinion and this is my opinion. read more

Super friendly staff! Clean facility. They are pretty packed and I believe they're short staffed. If you need to bring your pet in for something last minute or urgent, they most likely won't be able to accommodate but they'll try their best or give you suggestions on where to go. I decided to try this place because they are one of the few places close to me that board rabbits. I adopted a rabbit from SPCA and took her in for a check up. This is a WONDERFUL Veterinary practice! BOTH of the doctors are awesome! Donna is the heart and SOUL of this place! Drs. Bradley and Matthews are caring, kind, thorough people. The ONLY negative is this scary "client" named Lois who (somehow) manages to pop in when I have an appointment. (We have a lot of pets!). She yells, threatens, and frightens all of the other clients. She ranted once about killing her dog - it is truly upsetting and unnerving when she comes in screaming like a nut. I am hoping they dismiss her from their practice. I would give all three vets and the vet techs five stars because they have been wonderful. Due to Covid, the only vet I have met personally is Dr. Blume. She was thorough, patient and very knowledgeable. I gave the three stars because my experience with reception has been a nightmare. I have been put on hold for 25 minutes, hung up on numerous times, and sat out front with my pet past my appointment time because I was on hold. One day I was hung up on so many times I gave up in frustration and waited another day or two before calling back. My last experience was waiting 16 days to get an appointment with a vet tech for a nail clip for my dog, then getting a text to confirm my appointment on a day that was not the day for which the appointment was made. I wrote down the appointment when given and double checked the day with the receptionist. I had to cancel. read more

Dr. Bradley is by far the best Veterinarian I've ever had. We brought in our dog to get fixed and she located a giant mass in his abdomen, notified us, explained everything and gave us options, guided us through what to expect, and performed the cleanest surgery I've ever seen. She was very well prepared, extremely personable and was nothing short of absolutely amazing. Our dog had an extremely successful surgery, she had been in consistent contact post-procedure and we can't thank her more for her work. We have had an appointment and a teeth cleaning for our dog just recently at this location. They are very Covid safe and although you can't see anyone in person they seem like they take good care of your pet. They did an amazing job on the teeth cleaning. After the appointment and the teeth cleaning the Vet called me and went through everything explaining and discussing what she felt was important. It was definitely a phone call replacing the in house visit. I was so appreciative of the information. We just moved to their area and this vet office is on my street. Note that some of the older reviews are based on previous ownership. My 10 week old GSD was instantly very sick and no vet in the area was willing to see her except Dr. Bradley even though she was booked solid. Turns out my dog had Parvo and would have likely died had she not seen her. We caught in early and it was agreed based on her severity we could isolate and treat her at home. She is healthy and so is my wallet, the staff was amazing and would highly recommend them to anyone who cares about their pet care. read more

Had an appointment at 9:30 arrived at 9:20. Went to the door said that you had to call to confirm that you were there I sat on hold for 15 minutes. Went into the office they said they have contactless office visits I said that I had been on hold for 15 minutes. She said I don't have anybody on hold I'm like that's interesting they told me can you hold one minute. Now it's 945. I walked outside nobody came out. Nobody called.
