After getting stitches at urgent care, Dr. Cho and two of his team members got me in after hours to begin the repair process. He was able to remove one tooth and put in some cadaver bones, and shave the other two down. They were able to order me a temporary tooth until I'm able to get a full transplant matching my tooth color. He also was able to get me an additional appointment within 36 hours for the crowns needed on my other teeth. Addressing my injury aside, Dr. Cho was a calming and gentle presence in a very traumatic time. He worked with my husband and I on insurance and billing, answered all our questions and talked us through the process. We are extremely thankful!

These three people are so compassionate, empathetic, knowledgeable, intuitive, and genuinely care about their patients. Dr. Beau is definitely a genius when it comes to cosmetic dentistry and porcelain veneers. I spent countless hours researching cosmetic dentists to find the perfect dentist to fix the porcelain veneers I had done by another dentist, only six months before. Not only were my porcelain veneers, (done by another "cosmetic dentist") chip, brake, crack, had multilayered discoloration, were bulky, dense, and bulbous, they also crated, my controlled mild TMJ, to be extremely symptomatic. The porcelain veneers I had were so troublesome, that when I would bite and chew, my bottom jaw would literally shift to the right, intensifying the TMJ problem. With all these negative issues I was experiencing, my endless search ended with Da Vinci Dental and Dr. Beau. During my consultation, Dr. Beau spent so much time explaining the E-Max porcelain veneers he uses and why he uses E-Max vs the multilayered powder material that I had. He further discussed the entire fabrication process, the shaping and contouring he does specifically geared towards the patient's individuality, and why he spends an enormous amount of time perfecting the bite pattern, because he understands how critical it is to have the ideal bite. After our consultation, I knew, FOR A FACT, Dr. Beau was going to remove my crummy porcelain veneers (that I was ashamed of) and apply E-Max veneers that would make my smile beautiful, something that would regain my confidence. He did just that, my smile is radiant, my veneers perfectly compliment my face, but most of all, he corrected my bite pattern and now my TMJ problems, have drastically declined. Dr. Andrew is wonderful at applying the final E-Max porcelain veneers. He is so gentle, and kind, and always checks in with you to make sure you're doing okay during the process. He does not want the application to be uncomfortable and painful. Believe me, that's fantastic, because with my past experience, the dentist basically tortured me and I was in so much pain, even causing bruising, due to the roughness. Dr. Andy is the exact opposite; I was totally pain-free and comfortable. Amica is the soul of Da Vinci Dental. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met. My biggest issues were the lack of transparency, inconsistent communication, and failure to properly address my concerns. I repeatedly received unexpected balance statements months after paying what I was quoted. Every time I contacted the office, I received a different explanation. At one point I was even told to ignore a balance statement because it "wasn't actually a bill," only to receive another one later. Patients should never have to guess whether they owe money after being told everything was paid. I also had ongoing problems obtaining my records and X-rays. Despite multiple promises over the phone and by text that they would be sent to me, I repeatedly dealt with delays, excuses, and inconsistent answers. I completed Invisalign here as well and was disappointed with the final outcome. Whenever I raised concerns, I felt they were dismissed rather than genuinely addressed. The reason I am updating this review is because I finally sought a second opinion after losing confidence in this office. That decision may have saved my teeth. For months, I repeatedly complained about pain and sensitivity in a tooth with a previous root canal. I was simply told I needed a new crown. No one identified the real problem or referred me to a specialist. After seeing another dentist and then an endodontist, both independently diagnosed a significant infection beneath that root canal that requires treatment. The endodontist also evaluated a filling that had been placed at this office. They were very concerned about how deep it extends toward the nerve and explained that it needs to be replaced because there is an infection adjacent to the nerve. I was also informed there is approximately a 50% chance that replacing the filling could result in needing a root canal because of how deep it is. Learning that I have multiple infections requiring treatment after repeatedly reporting pain and sensitivity has been devastating. I can't help but wonder whether these issues could have been identified much sooner had my concerns been taken more seriously. I have since transferred my dental care elsewhere and no longer have confidence in the care I received here. If you choose this office, I strongly recommend getting every quote in writing, keeping every receipt, requesting copies of your records and X-rays immediately, and seeking a second opinion if something doesn't feel right. I wish I had.

The day came for my first appointment at Cedar View Dental with Dr. Jonnes, and as soon as I walked in, I immediately felt at ease. That day they took X-rays and Dr. Jonnes went over options and a plan for future care and appointments. Second appointment was for teeth cleaning and the hygienist was fantastic. Third and most recent appointment was the first big test - fillings. I was scared and nervous, but all that changed within a few minutes. I felt no discomfort whatsoever! In a few days I'll be going back for additional treatment and I'm good with that. In my opinion, Dr. Jonnes and his staff practice the highest standards of professionalism and caring.
