Granite State Glass in Hudson, NH is the best glass shop in America! I've lost count of the number of windshields that they've replaced in our cars. Each time, each windshield that they've replaced, has been a masterpiece. Their work is precise, flawless. Interacting with Kenny, the Hudson store manager, is a pleasure. Kenny is a consummate professional. I cringe when i think of our prior experiences with Safelite Auto Glass. STAY AWAY from Safelite Auto Glass, they are awful! I called them out of the blue after doing a Yelp search, and a real person answered the phone, took down my info, worked with my insurance and was completely hassle free. I get it, you're doing the best you can during this pandemic. But use some common sense! They have a large building with all employees behind glass and a separate waiting room. I came in to have my windshield fixed and was told the waiting room is closed. C'mon guys you couldn't spread out the chairs 6 feet and allow people to wait inside with a mask on? I wouldn't mind being outside on a warm day but it's raining and cold. But my biggest issue with this, if you're not going to take the extra step to make your customers comfortable, at least let them know when booking the appointment. My neighbor was having work done so I asked the tech to stop by. He measured my antique table for a glass top and gave me excellent advice. I picked it up myself and the change is amazing! I called safelite glass but i could not get an appointment cz of the virus and safelite said they only cover insurance glass and they hung up on me. I would never call safetite again. The windshield on my 2011 Nissan Frontier pick up truck needed to be replaced. Granite State Glass was my first choice for the new windshield. The folks in the Hudson office were polite and easy to deal with in setting the appointment to have them do the work at my home. They took care of the details with my insurance company. I injured my ankle four weeks ago and I am on crutches. Having the service technician do the work in my parking lot was fantastic. Technician arrived at my home this morning and expertly replaced the windshield. I have no complaints. Granite State Glass will always be my premier choice for any glass needs. my back window had an unfortunate run in with a baseball Saturday morning around 930. I started calling around, and because glass companies don't stay open past 12 on Saturdays, I got no help at all. I called Granite state, and they also said "no", BUT, he continued... "if you can get here in the next hour, I can get some collision wrap on there" (to hold the remains of the window together), and have the window installed on Monday. We had Granite State Glass come in & give us an estimate on replacing a sliding glass door & some other windows. A month later, several calls & emails & we still don't have an estimate! They obviously don't care about getting our business! So we've called another company since we stressed we wanted the new windows before it got really cold out which it's starting to! Got to safelite. Dont waste your time with these buffons. I booked an appointment several days in advance. Booked for a saturday morning, dropped the car off at 8 when the place opened. 2 hours of waiting later, I get a call from Kevin saying that the replacement windshield had a crack on it. So I could have it if it was urgent, or they could reschedule me. They didnt bother checking their inventory before I came in. Shameless people dont even reply when I emailed them about this experience. Just Go with Safelite. read more

They did a nice job reparing an older window screen for which we couldn't find replacement parts. The only reason I gave them 4 stars and not 5 is lack of communication between staff members. I had to go back twice to get the pulling tabs for the frame which was supposed to be done as a part of the repair, and both times it was the result of miscommunication between the receptionists and the repair guys. read more

The glass on my bay window got cloudy from the seal failing. I quoted a new window and was sickened by the cost. I quoted out companies to replace the glass. With the exception of one company all pricing was within $20 of each other. I chose granite state glass because they were in my same town. I'm so glad I did. First I spoke with Annette, the office scheduler. She did everything in her power to accommodate an install before the holiday weekend. She was extremely helpful and truly worked with me. Kudos to her for exceptional customer service. The installers arrived approx 1.5 hours BEFORE their scheduled time. (Impressive). They were amazing. Very nice and courteous. They worked professionally, and neatly, cleaning up every bit of scrap. They even took their trash back to the truck. They also replaced the wood moldings with expertise. After the install, the glass was cleaned inside and out, By far, the nicest, most professional company I have worked with. I highly recommend Granite State Glass for all your glass needs.
