2 Biscuits and Gravy

This is a good breakfast spot off memorial road with loads of options from your typical breakfast staples to unique flavor combos. Be sure to ask for a complimentary cinnamon roll on your first visit. I tried the chicken fried steak breakfast, which was huge and allowed me to take about half home. All my dining companions seem to enjoy their meals as well. This restaurant is like your typical diner, but better.

Nice breakfast items like omelettes or eggs benedict, hash browns, tater tots and fruit cups - also wide assortment of beverages as well like flavored iced coffees, fruit juices and iced tea. Excellent service that is very attentive and relatively spacious atmosphere that has been decorated due to Halloween. Highly recommended!

I'm indeed a fan of Granny's kitchen came on a Sunday around 11:30 it was super packed but ended up seating on the patio which was honestly nice. I had the philly omelet which was very very good with extra queso but with there was more Philly, I ordered with fruit and a biscuit and the biscuit was perfect. I will be indeed returning

Black Hair in food

This review is based on today Mother's day! Just a bad start so I arrived and let the two young Ladies Know im picking up some food and all they tell me is ok and nothing else. I was sanding there for 15 mininus and realized it was there on the side the whole time. I was not able to see it because of the crowd but cold food could have been prevented If the two Young ladies would have directed me. That is not all, my wife ordered an omelet just to find a black hair in. Yes its a bz day a great place to eat as the food is good but on they should be wearing hair nets and beard Covers if employees have long hair. Not a great way to start Mother's day for my wife. Now for me I ordered Biscuits and gravy and order of potatoes and my Order was missing them. I only eaten here twice and food is good but they sure dropped the ball.

A truly interesting dining experience! I will say they have great service! We were seated immediately and had our menu's to review! It was a single page but menu on both sides. Honestly, very good choices. I was thinking about the options and I'm usually a good reader of the menu and choose quickly. It was mid morning so it could go either way, breakfast or lunch. Undecided, I asked the server what her favorite were; she said the Philly Burrito with Queso. Go no further I had already had that one picked out! My wife selected the Breakfast Quesadilla's. We were both pleased with what we selected! The Philly Burrito was huge when it was placed on the table! I thought to myself how was I going to eat that? I made it half way through and thought I could finish this but I would feel miserable for the rest of the day! So it was a to go box for remainder of my meal. I'll have to come back again and try other items on the menu! I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!

I love this restaurant! 2nd time visiting as its not super close to my house. No wait when I stopped in with a friend after a 5k race we ran nearby. Food was delicious and ambience is lively but not too loud. I really enjoyed the Philly Burrito with Queso and added a side of grits and cottage cheese. I am a solid fan of Hiland cottage cheese and Granny's cottage cheese is on the same level. Lots of great merchandise to check out while waiting or when you head out. Great prices and more affordable than the usual breakfast chains and much better tasting food.

Pig Biscuit - buscuits covered in gravy topped with Ham and Sausage with hashbrowns side. Added two over medium eggs and it was really good.

I like me some breakfast. This has been my favorite goto when on the Northside and they have 2 other locations. I just love the staff here. They're all Killin it from the well-run kitchen to the friendly people front to back of the place. Breakfast won't disappoint at all there are so many choices to tailor or pre-made plates like the Nasty Granny. Relax that belt a little if you take her on. My favorite is the pig biscuit. Two country-style biscuits have a little thicker texture but stands up to that delicious peppery gravy. Comes with ham, bacon, and sausage on it. I added a fried egg over medium on it cause why not? You get your choice of side and I chose hashbrowns. The other picture is one of their omelets my buddy had. Sorry, no long drawn out mouth-watering review on that one. Other than nothing was left on his plate.

What an experience! We sat outside even though it was a bit chilly, because it was even cooler indoors. It was not too busy. No one came to our table of four for 12 minutes. Finally a young man took our breakfast order, which did not arrive for another 21 minutes. We did spot our server passing by twice, and asked him to at least bring our coffee, but it did not work out. Finally he arrived with a helper and brought 3 breakfasts and 4 glasses of water with my coffee. Eventually he came back with utensils. Then he disappeared for another quarter of an hour, having failed to bring MY breakfast. My son was nice enough to share his food. I really didn't want to eat anymore, having lost my appetite around minute 18. When he finally returned (still with no food for me), the fellow apologized profusely. My son noted the server had been working at Grannie's for a few months. To me, it seemed as though he had never even been IN a restaurant before.

They also wouldn't heat up the savory bun, which was disappointing. It would've been much better warm, but the cashier said no and clearly didn't care. Service was speedy, but our cashier was unfriendly. The coffee was overpriced and too sweet, and it needed stirring--but you can't stir it with the boba lid. On top of that, we had to order coffee separately and pay twice, which felt inconvenient. Even after ordering at the kiosk, our hot coffee somehow came out iced... oops. (Yes, it clearly says iced on the receipt - so obviously we missed something.) We also had to clean our own table, even though it wasn't busy. There seems to be a lot of variety at first glance, but if you look closely, it's mostly the same bread--lots of red bean. On the plus side, there's lots of natural light and plenty of seating (at least when it's not busy). Overall, a bit disappointed. The prices lured us in, but this won't be a routine stop for us. It doesn't hold a candle to Tous Les Jours.

Finally, a top-tier Asian bakery in OK!…read more If you live in Oklahoma, you know the struggle: there aren't many options for authentic Asian pastries, and even fewer that actually thrive. 85°C Bakery Cafe is a breath of fresh air and easily one of the better spots in the area. You can really tell everything is baked fresh that morning. The textures are spot on--soft, airy, and just the right amount of sweetness. Their drink menu is near-perfection. Both the Milk Tea and Thai Tea taste incredibly authentic, which is hard to find around here. They aren't just sugar-bombs; you can actually taste the quality of the tea. The only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is a safety concern for those with allergies. Unlike Tous Les Jours, which clearly lists ingredients/allergens by each pastry, 85°C is a bit more vague at the display. As someone who has to be careful about what's in my food, I'd love to see them adopt a more transparent labeling system so I don't have to guess or ask for every item. The Verdict: Delicious, fresh, and a must-visit for your pastry fix. Just be cautious if you have specific dietary restrictions!

I ordered the Cuban panini with a side of Parmesan-encrusted button mushrooms. It's so hard to find anything close to Cuban bread, but this wasn't bad, and the panini was toasted nicely. There's only one problem: This isn't a Cuban sandwich. It's ham and turkey with pickles. I'll point the finger at myself for not looking at the menu closer. A Cuban HAS to be roast pork and ham, and the meat shouldn't be cold. I know this isn't Miami, but stop trying to pass this off as something it's not. As for the Parmesan-encrusted mushrooms, you might expect some bit of crust or breading with Parmesan. Nope. These were sautéed mushrooms with a glop of Parmesan (not entirely sure it wasn't Swiss) in the middle. If you wanted both, you had to get a mushroom, then bite off a bit of the no longer melted cheese. I'm not going to tell anyone not to come here. As ham and turkey paninis go, it was OK. But I can't help but think if they're trying to pass things off as something they're not, what else might not be as it seems?
