Giving this a try on a Saturday afternoon. We were hoping to find good free street parking and we did. They are only open for dinner except Sat and sun. We found only a brunch menu until 4. So about only option that wasn't breakfast type was fried pickles and one hamburger. Yelp, ordered them and hamburger was pretty good. I really wish now we had waited for dinner. We did get to watch line dance lessons while we ate today. This place is set up to hold larger groups to dine and party together. The major neg was the flies! Lots of flies! Not even any of the garage doors open ? They have lots of outdoor seating too. Huge bar inside goes all the way around the oval bar station. Room to back has several pool tables and of course the riding bull. Rugged place good for drinking, entertainment nights. Love to come back on a Tuesday evening for karaoke. read more

Awesome place! Staff is super helpful and the entire place is giant and open aired. It's loud but intimate at the same time. The burger is phenomenal!! The rolls look dense and heavy but they're surprisingly light and sweet. Mac and cheese gives a 'queso' vibe which is addictive. Okra is hand breaded. The steak was ok. Honestly not a fan of the jalapeño glaze so even in the side it was a bit hot. If the steak was seasoned, it was bleak because the meat was extremely bland. But it was hot and fresh and Mikayla, our server, took the best care of us!! We will be back! Wifey tip- the drinks look impressive! Everyone around us was partaking. Yummy! read more

The place is pretty much what you would picture in your mind when it comes to a Country bar. It has pool tables, an electric bull and a big bar area. Where it could improve, service and food. Service was 'okay', server was not present and checking on tables often enough. Communication between staff was not on par, we told two staff at the same time what we wanted and one disappeared to not deliver the message, other was not sure if they came back. Food was good, they don't carry horseradish sauce for the steaks, no salt and pepper on tables (got to ask). Potato comes bare, you have got to ask for toppings as well. Elote is not the best, my at home version can beat this one by far. Highlight of the meal was the Queso and chips, downside they seem to give you the scraps from a brisket and not the good pieces. read more

Had a great time with the family Saturday morning for brunch. The food quality was terrific, I just can't with that catfish. Drinks always great, shout out to that Mexican candy shot with the Tajín rim! Music is a tad loud, when you have to come close to yelling to hear the person across the table- too loud. The food we desired was "unavailable" Even though everything to make it is on the menu? Last time wasn't great experience, gave it another go- not sure I will again. Food is okay, but not spectacular! Issues- salad clearly says iceberg- wasn't! Fun, new bar has just opened in downtown OKC! Large indoor seating, long, wrap-around at and large covered outdoor patio. Monday is open mic, Tuesday is karaoke, Wed is singo and Thurs is poker night. Hillwillys is my new favorite spot in Oklahoma City! The food is the perfect southern comfort food. The burger is really good, the waffle fries are so yummy. The buffalo cauliflower, wings, and bacon were all really good starters. Also tried the pulled pork sandwich and chicken tenders and they were good too. The cocktails are fantastic. The cactus prick is my favorite. But the watermelon margarita and lone star love are also very good! The atmosphere is fun and lively. They did a really good job on the space! I was really disappointed that I made a reservation over a week ago and it was confirmed by the restaurant. Then the day before our reservation they canceled it because they were having a st Patrick's day party and couldn't honor the reservation...really disappointed Has to scramble to find somewhere else to eat before other plans. read more

Place was cute. However they were extremely slow, barely anyone inside, we waited 30 mins for a waiter to come to us. Ended up leaving, if it was busy, I would've understood more but with only 3 people inside, 30 mins seemed a little wild. read more

Great place! Loved the atmosphere and service was awesome. Complimentary rolls were great, and the fries and slaw were awesome! Catfish was good, would've liked a more crispy shell on it like fish and chips but I still really enjoyed it. Fried ribeye was awesome too! Loved the house made barbecue, super unique and yummy. Went here Sunday for brunch with several friends. We had reservation. Very few folks dining around 11:30 am. Service was terrible, server forgot drink orders, the food was cold and the coffee was right out of a Keurig. Meals with fries were served and you had to ask for ketchup. I was told there was hot honey for my chicken, then told there was none. Waffles so tuff and cold hard to cut. If you are going to serve brunch, serve brunch. Hillywilly's was the perfect spot for a casual gathering celebrating a fun couple having a destination wedding in the Fall. There are a bunch of sectioned off areas in the bar to maintain a private event without it feeling closed off. The food was great, the drinks were cold, and the server Stephanie was great!
