We visited this location on a Friday night, and it was a great place for a casual dinner with friends. They offer quite a few unique burger options. We started with the fried mushrooms, and they were perfectly cooked and served with a good ranch dressing. I tried the Sir Bac a Lot, and it was very good. I especially enjoyed the bacon jam that came on it. Hubs had the black n bleu burger, which he loved as well. I was glad to see they served onion rings because I love rings with my burger. I was pleasantly surprised to see this place is even better than I remember and if you are able to have the pleasure of having Payton as your server you will be well taken care of. Never knew it was here very hidden but our waitress Tati was fantastic especially with our big party on a Tuesday night. She got us everything we needed and had a great personality! One of the best burger joint I've ever been to. This place gets me on a mid-90s existential childhood level! The art and space are cool late seventies and early eighties punk icons. The menu is amazing too. I had the Columbian burger. In a world of over the top crazy burger ideas this is unique and savory. A profoundly well done thing. Described as sea salt and coffee seasoned, Gouda, avocado and cilantro lime salsa. In will definitely come back to try some of the other burgers while in town. Also I had queso and chips instead of fries. Really amazing. Loaded with fried hamburger crumbles (like bacon but crispy fried hamburger). My time in OKC I notice it's a quest town. Everywhere you go there is a queso appetizer or nachos don't bags melted cheese but queso. So I've been going out of my way to try the different takes on that at bars. Best in OKC was here. Honestly can't even rate the food because we weren't even able to eat there. There's a sign when you walk in that says seat yourself which we we proceeded to do but one of the waitresses got mad, made a face, and threw her hands up at us and told us we couldn't sit there. Not sure her name because they kept giving us different names. She was the big girl. They then proceeded to fix us a table in another area but they were mad because we were asking why they had the seat yourself sign up if they were going to have an attitude with us. While I was standing there waiting for the table the skinny waitress with a bow told the big one that she didn't want to wait our table and the big girl said she wasn't going to either all while talking about us. The waitresses along with the manager were rude and we ended up walking out. I have never been treated like that and they shouldn't be allowed to treat customers like that as well. I like the idea of this restaurant, but the reality fell short in a few important ways. The service left a lot to be desired. We visited last Thursday and were told to take a seat. We waited longer than is typical for someone to come to our table. Once someone realized we hadn't been served, we had a parade of wait staff asking to help us. I think 3 different people tried to take our drink orders, each a couple of minutes apart. When we did order, I liked the menu options, esp the availability of an Impossible Meat patty. When our food came though, two of the entrees were wrong. One could be eaten but one had to be started over. That took a long time. To make up for it, they did comp that entree, which was nice. But things were so mixed up I am not confident that the one burger ordered with Impossible Meat was correct (although they definitely charged us the extra $3 for it). I did leave a tip, although maybe I shouldn't have. When I checked my bank account a couple days later, I found that S&B added $2 to the tip amount that I wrote on the ticket. Wow. That bad of service and you are going to give yourself an extra tip? I wish the visit had been better. read more

As a vegetarian I am so grateful for the veggie options because boy do I love a good burger! It was nice being in a quiet bar with lawn games outside and good children's deal on Tuesdays. I vaguely remember a S&B's located in Midwest City so wanted to try this one on 9th street (my normal go to: the Garage or Goose or the Drake (great $7 happy hour burger by the way) or Bar Arbolada. The bar was very inviting and the drinks all looked appealing. Unfortunately, my beer was warm. The server was very nice but wouldn't have been able to fix the tap in the short time I was there. The Colombian burger had a great salsa on it, but I had inferred there would be more Gouda or more coffee taste to it. (Probably just my mistake though.) I also had the Old Fashioned but with a veggie patty versus beef. I really liked the patty but the mustard distribution made some parts a dry patty and other parts very mustardy. I would rate it at a 7 out of 10 so putting it as 4 stars because it seems unfair to do 3 out of 5. I would definitely eat there again if a friend had their heart set on it. In general though based on taste, I would push for Bar Arbolada for little cheaper or the Drake for more meat. read more

The kitchen lost our ticket so it took way longer than usual but accidents happen and our server did a great job of making sure they fixed it in a timely manor. My husband went with their signature and I had the pickle one. Hubby liked his, except for feeling like it was a touch too salty. I liked mine. It was pickled, so I expected the salt. As you can see from the picture, it had two fried pickles on it. Bonus! I got to try the fried pickles! Our fries came out around the same time. We ordered the Fire Fries. I'm sure they weren't good for me, but they sure tasted good! Despite the ranch and cheese, the fries and fried onions were still crispy - yum. S&B's is one of my favorite places to grab a burger but my last couple of experiences have been a little rocky. The first time we ordered and went to pick up it took an extra 20 minutes to get our order that was past the estimated time frame. Once we got there we were told that they were out of both sprite and coke and it was a lengthy process to get a replacement. I'm usually one to check my order before leaving but due to running low on time I left and discovered that our burgers weren't right either. Called the location and they were apologetic and helpful. This second time we ordered pick up the burger order was wrong again as well as a fry short. When we went back to get the correct order the cook in the back was really apologetic while the manager was not. We will not be ordering pick up again, highly recommend to only eat onsite or find a different burger spot for to go! read more

I stopped in here for dinner.  Easy to find in automobile alley they offer sliders or full burgers of many burgers on the menu.  If you know what you like you can order a full burger.  Like a reviewer mentioned, you can order a slider of 2 or 3 different burgers to taste try several of them in one visit.  I opted for: the Fire - roasted green chilies. sharp cheddar, fried onions, and chipotle ranch.  The Frenchman - mushrooms, swiss, fried onions, and French onion dip.  The Columbian - sea salt and coffee crusted with gouda, lettuce, red onion, fresh acids, and cilantro lime salsa.  The fire was good but a tad too spicey for me.  The Frenchman was good but a tad overwhelmed by the mushrooms.  The Colombian was my favorite.  I ordered the burgers medium rare but they came out more medium well. They offer beer and had a nice liquor selection.  Skipped on the alcohol.  Staff was friendly and explained the menu to me.  They have small lot front.  Their is a lot next door but not sure if it was ok to park there. The food is delicious but the restaurant itself is so dirty. Been to several locations and they've all been dingy and unclean, from the tables to the bathroom, to the bottled condiments. The staff always seems depressed and unhappy. We had a waitress who had no teeth. True, teeth aren't a requirement to be a waitress but damn. That's who you want to be the face of your business?
