My wife and I drove down to check them out as we have never had the chance to purchase fireworks like this in the past. Boomtown Fireworks does have adults running the store but is primarily staffed and run by kids from Willis High School. With a great selection of fireworks to choose from, there are numerous students there to assist you with questions you might have about a particular boom boom or show videos of a particular display you are considering. The students are polite and do their best to assist you in any way you may need it and all money collected goes to help support the Willis High School Band. All the boom booms we purchased worked well and we had very few issues with anything any of us purchased here. There may be other fireworks stands out there but I was very happy with what we had to choose from and having the opportunity to help out in funding the Willis High School Band.

Also at the end of season they mark everything to 50% to start fresh for next season. Love this place! Run by a great family and the workers are usually band members/parents from Wills High and their parents.

My husband and I were out on a motorcycle ride on Christmas Eve and passed through Caldwell. We were excited to see something open and decided to stop at Daisy Dukes Barbecue--and I'm so glad we did. From the moment you walk in, you get that hometown, come-on-in feeling that lets you know the food is going to be good. We were starving and couldn't decide what to order, so the owner suggested a sampler. I don't know if it was an official menu item or something she just put together for us, but she absolutely loaded us up. We had brisket, sausage, fried fish, potatoes, potato salad, coleslaw, and beans--and every bit of it was amazing. We even grabbed two desserts to go. I honestly can't say enough good things about this place, and I can't believe it's been here forever and we've never stopped in before while traveling through. If you're in the area--or even if you're not--it's worth the trip. We can't wait to come back.
