Chicken tenders, mac & cheese, sweet potato soufflé, Mexican cornbread

This is my place to go for homestyle cooking! Tonight I had three chicken tenders with sweet potato soufflé and mac&cheese. Topped it off with some jalapeño cornbread! I got it take out and was served promptly and courteously. The food was hot and tasty and I don't believe I could have cooked it myself for the price. This my go-to restaurant in the evening!

3 veggie plate for $8.25! Can't beat it! I got taters and gravy, turnips, and pintos and ooowee this shit got me excited! Ha

Aye yall. This shit fye! I usually eat at a similar restaurant down the street, (won't say any names) but they serve the same style food, and I can guarandamntee you Grant's Kitchen is the better choice! I'll eat here 3 nights a week baby! Let me also add that I DID NOT have to salt and pepper any of Mt food! Was all seasoned to perfection.

It was about 8pm, and I wanted some Southern style veggies that were nearby. Found this place, but was always a little hesitant to go, because he's not a fan of buffet or cafeteria style since the food is usually sitting on the line for a min. I got the pick 5 veggie pate, he got the chicken fried steak, and two sides. Again our eyes were bigger than our stomach, we saw a their huge boneless porkchop sitting on the line, it's only $4.50 a piece, so why not? Added that too. We didnt have any high expectation, y'all, were we wrong! Everything tasted great! Porkchop was the size of half the plate, and no it wasn't all breading. That thing was like an inch thick, and super juicy, not dry one bit. Breading was light, and very well seasoned. Chicken fried steak also had great flavor. Food was hot, everything that was fried were still crispy. All of the Veggies tasted good, some were okay, but nothing that we wouldn't eat. Mac n cheese, cabbage, lima beans, and corn souffle were our favorites. This place reminds me of Fresh Market on Spillway before the Covid days. We tried both brown and white gravy, enjoyed both, but I prefer the white gravy, it tasted like a stick of butter We weren't a fan of the cornbread, but that's because we like sweet cornbread, just our preference. Overall great food, and the best bang for your buck, all of this was about $27. Included a menu for yall.

I love the cafeteria style of the whole place. Few items were just a little over seasoned.

After a successful purchase and a hemorrhaging from my credit card, we opted to celebrate the occasion with a meal. And Lo and behold Table 100 was just across the street from where we were. Ambiance 4 Stars - as you walk into the establishment, you are transported back where the warm wood interior, cozy white table cloth tables or booths, high end bar drinks, and classy servers in their white or black attire are waiting to serve you. There plenty of tables and booths to seat a plentiful of patrons. And if you need a little bit more private, you can request a private room depending how many are in the party. 4.5 Stars - Service: our server, Andrew was wonderful, professional and has a great sense of humor. We bantered throughout our dinner but the conversation never crossed over to make anyone uncomfortable. He was observant of our needs and when to bring our next course. Our glasses stayed full with our beverage. 4.25 Stars - Food We ordered from the dinner menu instead of lunch due to our timing at 3:00. Let's just call it "Linner". Haha. 4 Stars - Grilled Swordfish- My wife ordered the dish and came with a decent size grilled swordfish fish, sauté spinach, creamed mash potatoes, and a beurre blanc sauce (lemon, butter and dry white wine). The swordfish was thick and moist; not dry at all. The beurre blanc balanced the bland spinach and the seasoned swordfish. The creamed potatoes were creamy, buttery's and not too salty. 3.75 Stars - Pan seared Redfish with cube fried potatoes, sauté green beans, beurre blanc sauce and top w a Chilean tomato salsa. The redfish was moist and tasty but I wish it had a little bit seared on it for a crunchy factor. The cubed potatoes were good but nothing to write about. The fresh sauté green beans could have a bit more garlic butter. 3.5 Stars Side dish: Deep Fried Brussel Sprouts. Hot, steamy and fresh. Has a slight crunch on the exterior leaves and was seasoned w a sprinkle of salt. 3.75 Dessert: Crème Brûlée and coffee. The crème brûlée crust was crunchy and the vanilla egg custard was good and smooth. It would have been better was a scoop of fresh whipped cream to go with the fresh fruit and crunchy layer. 5 Stars - French pressed Italian coffee. The coffee was a highlight of the dessert. It was hot, fresh, and strong. Just like an Italian coffee should be. It was between an espresso and caffe' Americano. Our, server, Andrew did a wonderful job on the coffee! I definitely recommend this place and we will be back. Don't forget to ask for Andrew, if he is available.

We had heard of Georgia Blue & staying in the hotel across the street was thee perfect excuse. Husband ordered the Seafood Linguine & I had the Pot Roast Poboy. Although the crawfish tasted like the ocean air on a blustery day - the meal itself, he devoured. Let's talk Pot Roast. The picture literally made my mouth water. I have a dental issues so I ordered the Onions, Mushrooms & Gravy OTS. (My side was Mac&Cheese.) Well, I had to call the store bc neither the gravy OR the Mac&cheese made it to our hotel. Of course I sent hubby back for the gravy but by the time I realized the Mac&cheese was missing, hubby was already eating. I opted to just call to make them aware of the missing order items. According to the manager in the phone Mac&Cheese wasn't even on the ticket yet it's printed AND CHARGED on our receipt. I decided to just try & enjoy the meal. 4 bites. FOUR. The roast was SOOOOO salty. I thought it was the gravy so I kept the sandwich for later and tried to eat it NOT THE GRAVY. It wasn't the gravy at all. I had hubby try it and he spit out the 1st bite. The salt was overpowering. Unbelievably overpowering. Our bill was $55 ish & it was the worst meal we have had here in Mississippi. The 2 star was specifically for the linguine. Besides the crawfish- perfection.

I am not sure how I have never found this place before now, but I can tell you that everyone else has. This place was packed! Parking was a nightmare. I cut off a cop and stole his parking spot. Yea! I was impressed by the size at that point and then realized on the way out there was a whole second floor as well. It is freaking huge! When you pay, there is a little old lady that douses your hands with sprays of sanitizer. I did not care to partake, she did not care, and insisted. We aren't buddies. You can see the stank face she gave me. I don't care though, hater gonna hate. The buffet is rich with country foods. I was in love from the jump. Fast moving buffet food is my jam. They had all the things I like and tons of other things you folks like. I made two trips, I barely got most of the second down so I didn't get to enjoy dessert. That's ok, I like protein way better than sweet things. Thank you Allah for statin drugs! I had all the fried things! Fried chicken livers are some of my faves, especially if there is mashed potatoes and gravy involved. The fried chicken itself was great. Hell it was all good. I see why it's so damn busy. I think it was like $16 maybe. That's with a drink and endless food and dessert. My server was such a sweet lady and the bus staff were great too. They made sure you didn't want for anything and never had a dirty plate in front of you. I will be back as soon as possible. Planning a visit now! '26 - 102

That was delicious. Also got the lobster and crawfish dip ok and one can never go wrong with calamari which was also good. For dinner, I had the salmon and grits and kale. It was ok because not quite what I was expecting - I was expecting spicy and it was too sweet for me but might be my fault for not fully reading the description and being focused on the Cajun seared aspect of it. It was still good though. Nothing superb but filling and loved the crunchy kale on top. Really liked that they were open on a Monday and they were fast. At one point, too fast because one of my co- diner's dinner came too soon while still eating their salad. For dessert, we got the cinnamon roll cheesecake and shared it. I only had one bite because it was too rich for me but it was very tasty and good. Unfortunately, we didn't get the oysters which is THE item to get here but it was otherwise a good visit.

I was so excited to come here because this is a duo restaurant + bake shop, serving Southern favorites. Upon entrance, I was greeted by the staff members in such a warm, hospitable manner. Since I traveled across the U.S. and flew in from California, I was quite famished. I ordered the following: * Hamburger Steak Entree (angus hamburger meat, mushrooms, onions & gravy): Selected the two sides - Mac & Cheese and Turnip Greens. Also came with a green salad (added boiled eggs) and a bread roll. A soft drink was even included with the entree. * Bowl of Seafood Gumbo All of the food was beyond palatable. Everything was super flavorful, and I enjoyed it all from the start to the finish. I was especially quite impressed with the taste of Turnip Greens and Seafood Gumbo (top favorites). The portion of the meal was generous and filling. I was feeling full and satisfied after consumption. I wasn't able to try any of the desserts. However, it was nice to know that there was a variety of freshly-baked sweet treats available. Options included cakes, cookies, pies, pound cakes, and breads. When entering there is a deli styled warmer with the foods they serve for lunch. There are other things that can be ordered from a menu such as burgers and such. The lady at the counter told us this and what the specials of the day were. In the preprepared warmer they had two entrees and several veggies. I got the hamburger steak with gravy, okra, and mashed potatoes. My friend got Cajun pasta, okra, and peas. We both got tea. My food was bland. Not much flavor in the meat or gravy. The potatoes were real and handmade. Okra can't be messed up, or so I thought. My friends pasta was cold, even though it was in the warmer. Then they tried their okra, which they found hairs in. At this point we were both disgusted. The lady at the counter left for the back, so there was no one to talk to regarding food quality. I had eaten part of mine I didn't wait to ask for a refund, so we just left. My friend did comment they didn't say, "Enjoy your meal, because they knew it wasn't enjoyable." Spend your money somewhere you know you'll get what you're wanting. Because I would rather have spent my $30 on fast food.
