    Chicken Henny Sandwich with fries
    Dawn M.

My first visit I used Waitr to order from here. Food arrived hot and good. This time I picked up my food. Ordered same thing as first time....chicken henny sandwich with fries. Chicken sandwich was great but just a little overcooked. Sauced perfectly though. Fries lacked any salt or other seasoning and appeared and tasted as if they were cooked in old grease. Will go back but not in the near future.

Nice and friendly staff, food was tasty. I can vouch for the chicken tenders and fries, grilled chicken salad, extreme potatoes with chicken. The pound cake was delicious!! Stopped in on a visit from NJ!! Thanks!! Xoxo

    Alfredo with steak and shrimp

Great concept and has potential; but it was a "fail" for me tonight. There are other items on the menu, but what captured my attention was the buildable rice, Alfredo and/or potato meal options. I ordered Alfredo, the sauce is really good. The dish is served with broccoli, which I thought was different; and a piece of garlic toast. Unfortunately, the toast was a soggy mess and not edible by the time I made it home. I added steak and shrimp to the pasta. I found the meat majorly overcooked and difficult to chew. A hard contrast to the mushy noodles. There also seemed to be entirely too much salt added. I couldn't finish my food after driving 15 minutes and paying $22.

"Mariah" Special: 4pc hot wings, 4pc grilled shrimp, diced and grilled chicken breast, loaded broccoli, extreme potatoes

Do yourself a favor and call in order at least 30 minutes before cause everything is cooked to order unless you wanna wait nearly 40 minutes or longer cause there's usually a line in the drive thru and inside. The seasoning is excellent but quite salty if you have high blood pressure or need to limit your salt intake. And they were out of the crawfish cream sauce needed to make the Swamp Pasta so I ended up with the "Mariah" Special. As a result, I'd also advise to call order in as early as possible or be the first one there as they may or may not have what you initially wanted to order.

Food was really good. I enjoyed the country kitchen atmosphere and the option to write on the wall.

But this one was just right for me. I feel like you could show up after a round of golf and it would be cool. That's as long as you don't have swamp ass, LOL. Inside is well lit and airy. There are lots of windows and it's quite comfortable. Our server was great. So good in fact, I have no recollection of them or the service. That's strange. Nothing. I can't even remember if they were male or female?!?!? I do however remember my food. We started with crab claws. They were darn tasty. Nice lemon flavor to the batter and the sauces were great accompaniments. Would recommend! For dinner I chose the Prime Chile Rubbed Flank Steak. Gosh damn was it good! Perfectly cooked, seared well, and still medium rare inside! The sauce was fantastic as well and the fresh cut Parmesan fries were a stupendous addition to the dish! I loved the whole damn thing!!! The spinach was quite unique and very good. It was like crispy sautéed of something. I must have made some noises that my dinner companion had to know about because he ate a couple slices of my steak after I was done. I thought about dessert but the boys didn't want to help so maybe next time!! I will come back here. I hope this meal was not a fluke!! I can't stop thinking about that damn steak!! '26 - 40

It never misses and is always made to perfection. Because it was lunch they didn't have the pasta so I chose the Friday special, catfish and spaghetti. It came with cornbread and a side. I got Lima beans. Drooling good.... My husband got fried chicken livers and rice with turkey gravy. My Mom built a blue plate special with catfish, sweet potatoes and greens. As usual, we did taste tests from all the plates and it was good eating! Our server was attentive and had a great sense of humor. The atmosphere is much different during lunch than it is on the evening. Lunch is very casual. Dinner is more about full dinners and live bands. The atmosphere is more of a date night type of vibe. There is a dress code for evening so be sure to check before you go. You will have a good time and a full belly every time you go!!
