My husband and I had a really great time on our tour. We didn't know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised at how much fun we had with our fellow tour goers. Our guide, Kris was very knowledgeable and so friendly. She was attentive and let us know what to expect. She truly made for a wonderful customer experience. We toured three great wineries: Lincourt, Beckman and Vega. At Lincourt, Blake greeted us warmly and had really lovely explanations of the wine and what pairings would go well with each. We ended up joining the wine club as Lincourt also has Napa locations we'd like to try. At Beckman, Kip was so knowledgeable and taught us all about the wines we were tasting and helped us pronounce the French names and even shared some Italian. We had to join the wine club as the wines we sampled were delicious and the price points reasonable. At Vega we loved the cool breeze, the lovely seating and most of all interacting with the llamas, bunnies, piglets and most of all the baby goats. One goat we nicknamed "Blackie" even let us scratch its head. We would go on another tour with Grapeline Wine Tours in a heartbeat and in fact we are planning our next one now. 10 out of 10, would do this again. read more

Our wine tour with Carry as our guide was absolutely fantastic! He was incredibly nice and went above and beyond in his attentiveness. He made my bachelorette party so relaxing and enjoyable. Carry was also great at communicating and took amazing pictures of our group. Each winery brought something unique to the table. Vega Vineyard and Farm stood out with its amazing vibe and plenty of activities to enjoy. Brander provided a lovely introduction to the day with its intimate setting, while Foley offered an elevated and memorable experience. Bill and I had a WONDERFUL time celebrating my 70th birthday with Chris on the wine tour! The wines on the flight we tried at the first stop, Firestone weren't that great, except for the Cab which we both purchased - but the wine AND Dan at Koehler Winery was the BEST! I wish we'd gone back twice instead of going to Vega - it was a dinner/winery - the waiter/wine guy was so busy he didn't spend a lot of time with us discussing the wine and the amount was about 1/2 what is normally poured - plus there were kids running around and although it was unusual to tour their little "zoo" - we didn't pay to see animals (or SMELL animals) we paid to drink wine. I would not recommend them for future tours, IMO. All together I would definitely recommend your tour to anyone going up north! Thank you for a great celebration! read more

I've previously done a tour or two with Grapeline but it had been years; I'm happy to report they remain a top notch company! I had some questions in the days leading up to the tour that were easily answered by the folks answering phones. Our driver, Cary, was fantastic. He was very punctual, kept the schedule, dished out great knowledge of the local region, and kept the ride fun with great music. We visited Vega, Foley, and Andrew Murray. Each tasting was done outside at a table with our group of six total (2 in my party). Luckily we had a fantastic overall group so it was great to get to know everyone. Lunch options are excellent. What a wonderful wine tour!! Our host, Kris, picked us up 5 minutes early so she had some extra time to drive through Solvang and give us some restaurant recommendations for the next couple days of our trip. She took us to some awesome vineyards and even stopped for an impromptu olive oil and honey tasting! Kris had a yummy lunch ready for us after a couple of tastings (make sure to make your lunch selections when you book!) and we enjoyed our last tasting with lunch! We were also celebrating, and she had a lovely message written for us at lunch as well. She made a special effort to take all of the wine we purchased and set it aside for us in a wine box in the trunk of the vehicle so we didn't have to worry about our bottles rolling around in the van. If you are on the fence about booking, I would recommend it! We were so pleased with the experience that I will be booking Grapeline again when we visit Paso Robles in the Spring. read more

This was the first time my wife and I have done a wine tour. I can say I was a bit hesitant only because I am not a big wine drinker...that said I am actually glad I did! The day started off with Michael picking us up at the arranged pick up point. We arrived and Michael was already there waiting on us, he was just as friendly at the end of the tour a as he was when he picked us up. Michael was very knowledgeable about much more than just the wine tour, he was a great source of information about much of the surrounding area, when Michelle ( Regional coordinator) told me Michael was their best driver that was an understatement. This was one of the best things I have done in a very long time. Everyone from Michelle at Grapeline wine tours to Michael were without a doubt extremely professional, courteous and very easy to work with! If you are in the Pismo Beach area this is a great way to spend the day with that special someone and meet some of the nicest people out to have a good time as well. We met couples today from all over the Cali area including one amazing couple from Scotland and a young Psychologist and friend that really made the day great... all and all today was a great friggen day!
