The service was a decent- the food is made fresh and worth the wait!! Casual eatery to get traditional pupusas will be the place to go when I come through town again!

So I decided to investigate. This place is in a transitional part of "downtown East Wenatchee". There isn't a ton of parking, but there is enough. The place is clean and minimal. Knowing Spanish is definitely helpful and there will always be a soccer match to watch. The service is friendly and helpful, even for us rookies. You can dine in, seat yo' self. Or order for take out. These are my first pupusa, so know I'm comparing it to non pupusas. They were piping hot off the grill 3/$12. I think I ordered chicken and cheese, another combo I can't remember. They were interesting. Sort of quesadilla like, but with more substance. The sauce they came with was very tasty, sweet and not spicy. The salsas were delicious and had more heat. I ordered a tropical aqua which was like a vacation in a glass. Overall it was a good experience. I'll keep trying so I have something to compare it to.

The host and our server were both very friendly and welcoming. We tried the pizza, which had good flavor, though the crust could've been a bit better. The house-made gnocchi was creamy and delicious, but the portion was on the smaller side. The salad was fresh and crisp, though also a bit light on portion size. Overall, a solid lunch spot with great service just wish the portions were a bit more generous.

While the rating isn't super high, we saw that the public market itself is an attraction, and the pictures look like the type of vibe that my wife likes, we decided to try out Fire. The space is very open, we were quickly greeted and seated shortly. There were a good amount of selections, but we ended up going with a pizza and the pork belly sandwich. Kids got the spaghetti and cheese off of the kids menu, both were solid, easy 4-5*. The salumi pizza was also solid, fresh ingredients, and baked well 4.5*. The porchetta was absolutely delicious, pork belly was done well and paired well with the rest of the ingredients, 5*. We got the charred brussel sprouts, but it was very charred and my wife almost wanted to ask for it to be remade. I didn't mind it too much, and just continued to eat (I was really craving for some cooked veggie), I finished majority of the portion so we didn't bother to ask for it to be remade. Our waitress was very nice, but there was a period where she disappeared (looked like she had her jacket on and went out to get something) and only asked us how the food were immediately after the food arrived and after we were pretty much done eating. Dessert was this crepe with Nutella ice cream inside, 5*. Overall it was an enjoyable meal, but given the price, this was a 4* experience.
