There's plenty of other gas stations and we will be using a more reasonable one from now on because who wants to stand next to your vehicle to collect a receipt in order to use the restroom? It feels safe to a woman traveling alone and I have even been known to rest my eyes here for a bit on long drives because it feels comfortable to do that here. There are lots of friendly seagulls that are obviously used to being fed by visitors and clean tables with some shade if you want to enjoy a bite to eat or just sit and relax outside a bit. I like the way the trucks are separate from the cars so you don't have to listen to the noise from the engines or deal with the smells. There is also a well maintained pet relief area here as well. If you need the restroom or just a respite, this is a good place.

We had our dog with us outside and they were so sweet to her. Our dog wasn't allowed in the building but I was able to go in during the meeting and still find some good info for our trip. The facility is nice with plenty of parking and even though we came on a busy day we still felt welcomed and appreciated. I definitely recommend this stop to anyone heading to the area.

The drying machine here does not dry your clothing after one full hour of drying on high heat. Making drivers pay several times to dry their clothing is not okay. Also there is no seating in the laundry room (unlike most truck stops) so you have to stand the entire time. There are only two washing machines so if another driver is cleaning their clothing and you walk up then you're likely going to have to wait for them to get done. I had a bad laundry day here and now I have less time to sleep before driving my semi truck hundreds of miles. Not a great experience and could for sure be improved if they bothered to pay attention to their laundry room.

I'm very disappointed…read more Our 2016 Ford Edge suffered a cracked flywheel, a known recall issue with our model year (https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10218899-0001.pdf). The Butler Ford in Ashland service team identified the issue immediately as a recall problem and assured us they could fix it at no cost. That made us happy, as this is an expensive fix (about $3400). But then, after a day of back-and-forth phone calls, they told us that our car was too old for the recall benefit to apply, and we would have to pay the full amount. ' Not even an appeal to Ford's "Goodwill" division made a dent in this decision. So -- there's a known defect in the way the car was manufactured, but Ford refuses to honor it's own customer service recall. It makes no sense. The defect in the car doesn't go away just because the car gets older. It's still there, lurking, waiting to crack the flywheel and make your car inoperable. That's what happened to us, and it could happen to you. We also had to repeatedly ask if we could have a loaner car for our 1-car family to use while this expensive repair was being done. They finally allowed us to rent a car for $30/day. The repair took over a week. There are lots of ways this could have gone to so that Butler Ford of Ashland could keep us as customers. Needless to say, we're very dissatisified. As a result of this experience, we will never buy a Ford again, not from Butler Ford in Ashland, not from any Ford dealer. Ever.
