When you read the reviews on Yelp, it must be from the people that live here. Yes, there are at least 25 to 35 long term, as in forever tenants. This is a trailer park with about 20 reservable spots. The map may show 50+, but many of those are taken up by tenants, not overnight RVers. Upon check in, I was greeted by a lady, she was cordial, but she was scatter-braied, or she was in a hurry to get out of the office at 3pm. I asked if she could tell me what the last 4 digits of my credit card that I paid with. She started digging through a booking journal, lost! She got frustrated because she wanted to leave. She couldn't find my entry but she gave my packet that showed paid in full. My spot was within 50 yards of the office, but she wanted to have me follow her to the spot. The spaces are small. You get a very small picnic bench. It has FHU, there is a small dog area that hasn't been mowed in months. They say they serve popcorn after 2pm, it was 3pm when we checked in and the popcorn machine had 10 kernels in it. Overall, it is a 1+, nowhere near a 4.5 that the YELP shows. See photos. Someplace are rundown and trashy. I will try the other trailer park next time.

    Nice level, pull thru's.

Perfect RV park. Easy to check-in. Trish was extremely helpful. Really quiet, and close to gas stations, fast food and Walmart.

Stopped because of the reviews- not disappointed! Staff was friendly and helpful the sites are shaded with beautiful trees and very level. Hookups are in great shape and there is cable at each site. Quiet and serene. The prices were great for Cali. Bathrooms extremely clean. They even have a reward card - stay 5 nights ( doesn't have to be consecutive) and night #6 is free. These folks work hard for 5 star reviews and it shows. Really glad we stopped here - would stay again for sure.

One row of RV sites - Love the shade trees!

When we checked the new management said that they had no record of the reservation or payment. Checked our bank statement and couldn't find a record of payment. They did have a pull-through site for our 42' 5th wheel, however the site had overhanging branches the would not clear the top of our rig. Called the office and asked if the branches could be trimmed, or could they move us to another vacant pull- through site that were vacant close to our site. The front office lady went "ballistic" at that suggestion, and told us to get out of the park. However, the laneways were very narrow, and RVers parked front and back from our site were parked in the laneways. We asked those folks if perhaps they move their vehicles for a moment - basically told us to get lost. Fortunately with patience and help from some nice folks, we were able to extricate ourselves from the site . Took us about an hour to get out of the site, and found a nice hotel nearby. In discussion with several of the nice folks who helped us shared that they were literally scared of the managers, and that our experience was not unusual for the park. Be forewarned that not only us, but others have been horribly treated by this management.

We were a bit worried by the road there (lots of fair sized holes) and the weather (California was experiencing a bad heat wave, and it was 105 here), and considered only staying one of our two nights. So so glad we stayed both nights. The wild horses were hanging out the whole time, and much of it in front of our trailer. I'm sure the heat drove them down to the river and tasty lawn. We also saw the blue heron, bats, and two river otters! Baby bird above the men's bathroom. Lots to see and enjoy. This place is pristine and quiet. We'd just come from a gross Thousand Trails and a loud state park. Coming here with the clean (and air conditioned!!) bathrooms and showers was lovely. The hosts were so nice. And it just felt quiet and relaxing, only punctuated by territorial stallions making a fuss. Nice additions are the giant shaded area with picnics tables and Adirondack chairs to hang out in- our space didn't have a tree so the shaded option was much appreciated. This is a way away from us, but we hope to come back and spend more time here. Also- shoutout to the hosts who spend a lot of time cleaning up horse poop to keep the roads clean for us!

We've been going to railroad park resort since the 1990's and eating there every time we come through town - 2-3 times a year. I recently ordered the steak - $58.00 - making it the most expensive entree in the area (including the high end places in Mccloud, etc) and it had no sear. was under cooked. Had no seasoning. No sauce. The potatoes were rubber and the veggies were gross. The pork chop was similarly under-cooked and had the same sides -so same feedback. The dining car was a special treat, the meal overall was very good but could have been better with a little attention to detail. The rigatoni pasta dish was absolutely perfect , popping with flavor and as good as any I've ever had. We ordered a couple glasses of pinot noir with our dinner and when they arrived they were noticeably warm like 80-85 degrees like they had been roasting in the sun , not a pleasant room temp like they should be. We also ordered a large caesar salad that we all split and the lettuce was warm like it was sitting in a window soaking up the sun, plate was not chilled and even if it was it couldn't have cooled down hot lettuce, salad was light on dressing , the halved petite romaine was very bitter, i've purchased this lettuce at costco a couple times and stopped buying it because the petit romaine tends to be very bitter, i love the consistency of the smaller denser heads of lettuce but the bitterness is unpleasant .....hopefully the chef is tasting his food and can see what he thinks. My wife ordered the pasta with shrimp and loved it! My dad had the rib eye and said it was pretty good but maybe not 57$ good. The pasta dishes were 10/10 amazing , reasonably priced and generous in size , the warm wine and salad is an easy fix, it was a nice treat after a week of camping and cooking to not have to , so highly recommend giving them a try for dinner during your stay!! Mountain scenery was incredible from the campground!! The pool was a little crowded at times but we enjoyed a couple hours of pool time both days. We had a few issues though. We were unable to drive into our campsite due to trees. We have a 30' trailer pulled by a Ford F-250. Pulling in we almost got stuck. We had to back out to drive the wrong way up a one way lane then back into our space. The spaces are small and parked vehicles added to the navigation challenges. Ultimately we made it in and set up camp for the night. Also our wi-fi password didn't work and there was a billing issue. Our Elks Lodge discount price wasn't applied. We weren't able to purchase any of their farm fresh eggs because we couldn't connect with Karen & Jay. Tried contacting them by text, phone and email on our day of arrival and again the next day. Even still, due to being 6+ hours from home, we were going to stay here since it was the only option. The woman turned out to be the "owner" who lied saying she was not on the property to help us but "sure check in early if your in a rush and to figure it out (how would we do that without an employee?) as we could see her exiting the property at the same time.
