Amazes me how many dealers cars are dirty, have missing or broken parts, or all of the above. Every car appears well cared for, is clean and ready to drive home. With Paul's help my son quickly narrowed it down to two cars. He drove both and chose a beautiful v50 wagon. Paul and Louie were both very knowledgeable about the cars they had on the lot. They were available to answer questions, but never once did we feel pressured. Before we left I test drove a mint XC70. Paul and Louie took care of all the paperwork and registration. The following day both cars were delivered to our driveway. If in the market for a quality used Volvo, Toyota or Honda, make your last stop Volare. ( I can't Go to them in person) . 2- I had pleasant experience with them so they did try to help but the dealer owner push only 3rd party warranty and does not sell any CPO Extension. I have tried to reach to dealers in my state (Washinton & Oregon) they all had 3rd party warranty and all of them were extremely expensive, cheapest was 3500 for 24 k miles extra / 2 more years. After sharing with him the original selling dealer does not sell extensions, he was able to get an exception from Volvo and extended the CPO warranty to 10 years / 100 k miles. The facts remain the same: approximately 40 minutes after the vehicle was returned to us, it experienced an extreme driveline failure at approximately 45 MPH. As I understand your position, components outside the rear differential were determined to be undamaged because the vehicle was "looked over." Thank you, but given the severity of that failure and the problems that followed, a qualified independent mechanic will still need to determine what damage actually occurred and whether it is mechanically consistent with that event. Perhaps some of this could have been avoided if I had been shown even one of the damaged parts that were removed and replaced, as I repeatedly requested. Instead, I was told the parts were "cores" and would be returned rather than shown to the customer who paid for the repair. If I have stated any fact incorrectly, please identify the specific statement and provide the correct information. I will correct any genuine factual error.
