I have spoken to Chris, the owner, and can say that he is a legitimate, completely honest, and down-to-earth businessman. He is there to help his customers buy a car. First off I'd like to say that overall I had a great buying experience with these folks. Lisa is a gem and Chris is a great guy who knows how to make it right. With that being said the showroom car I purchased from them turned out to have extensive rust damage, needed frame welding to pass inspection, and now won't pass again due to rotten exhaust system that no shop wants to touch due to extra framing members being welded into the chassis and prevents a new factory system from being installed. As someone who considers themself relatively car savvy I did look underneath the vehicle in the showroom only to find a clean, spotless undercarriage. 6 months after purchase I learned that someone (not saying it was Dagostino) but someone spray painted the whole undercarriage with matt black spray paint to cover up the rust. Not only that but the second rate warranty that I was sold as being one of the best, every shop says they're terrible to deal with. I really loved the idea of this car and am now very disappointed that I am going to have to get rid of it after sinking a lot of money into it. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. the whole process took 1 1/2 hrs compared to 4 hrs at a new dealership. with absolutely no pressure. They did the financing, registration, etc. They were able to get me an extended 5 yr warranty on my 2019 Murano. All I had to do was test drive and sign. Folks, if Yelp had ten stars, I would give them 10 stars. This is an update to the review I just left them on 9/11. Because they did such an amazing job getting the gum off my car, I listened to them when they told me my car could use a "good reconditioning. " They also told me to get that giant dent out of the drivers door, as Mercedes will punish me when I turn the car in. I went away on holiday, and for those seven days, my two year old car was in their capable and loving hands. When I went to pick up the car, it looked brand new. I saw people looking at it and I laughed, "sorry, not for sale!!" LOL I could not believe the great job they did, for a song of a price. I was just floored. I have said it before, and I will say it again: I am so grateful there are still businesses out there who put the customer first. I do with mine, and I have met a business who mirrors my concern for customer service. Their cars just sparkle, but not as much as they do. First class operation. Well done D'agostino Motors. I was looking to get a new SUV and happened to come across a slightly used luxury vehicle I wanted to see and test drive, which happened to be at this small, family owned dealership. My husband and I were asked for our licenses per standard process, but were able to take the vehicle out on a drive ourselves. Once we returned, we talked numbers but there was never any pressure at all and the owner, Chris, was professional and personable. We said we would think about it and again, no pressure as one would normally get, and off we went. We returned two days later to look at the car once more and see about any further help. We had already gotten a very fair price on my trade in, and we were able to get slight give in the vehicle in question, but what blew me away was the ease of the financing process and the ability to get some fantastic rates. They ensured the car was ready, handled everything quickly, never tried to up sell any additional items, and even took the time to explain some of the fancy gadgets in the car. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a used vehicle from a small family owned dealership, especially if you hate the pushy and frustrating sales and finance people at the larger spots - you know, the ones who have to "go talk to their manager" every 5 minutes. I went last year in December just to test drive a car, and get a quote on how much it would be if I traded in my Honda and made monthly payments on the new one. I went in and they let me test drive it, very polite people. But man they are pushy pushy pushy. They basically forced the car on me and gave me no time to think If I wanted to go through with the purchase or not. Called me day after day telling me "the car is going to go fast, are you going to buy it? Etc." The car was beautiful inside and out don't get me wrong, it was a Chrysler. How could I not? I ended up getting the car. But about 3 months later it turns out that one of the compression cylinders in the engine was broken. Hundreds of dollars into this "perfectly" working car and a huge let down. I regret letting them boss ME around, a customer! I should have told them no. But being very young and doing this on my own, they totally took advantage of me. Sneaky business. read more
