These people continue to amaze me with their organization and professionalism. I'm new to the whole-home generator scene, but so far the whole organization has been top notch. The entire permitting and installation process went smoothly and ahead of schedule. Their office folks took care of everything and kept me informed of the permitting process and scheduled work. The commissioning / startup tech patiently walked me through everything, answering any questions that I might have. Today I had my first service after the 25 hour break-in period. The service tech, Davin McGraw, was very thorough, checking all equipment, performing the maintenance, explaining everything and putting up with my many new kid on the block questions. The cherry on the top was when he pulled out a clean white cloth and soap/degreaser and wiped down the entire unit so that it looked like it was still on the showroom floor. All are signs of good leadership and management. I have read a few reviews complaining about response to service requests (especially after the recent hurricane Beryl), so I will reserve some judgement until I see how they respond when I need unplanned service, but so far I am extremely impressed. read more

Dennis Brown just completed the annual maintenance on our 24 kw generator that we purchased in 2021 under our annual maintenance contract. Dennis was very thorough and in addition changing and gapping the plugs, changing the air filter, and changing the oil. He also checked and adjusted the valve clearance which was out of spec. This was the first time this had ever been done since the generator was installed. Past techs had always said to have it done at the next service, but the techs at the next service never wanted to check the valve clearance. In addition, Dennis checked and adjusted the gas pressure which was also out of spec. Dennis also checked the old engine oil for metal shavings and fortunately didn't see any, Dennis checked our starter for wear, and he said it is in good shape. Overall, Dennis did the most thorough annual maintenance we've ever experienced, and we will be requesting that he be assigned to perform any and all service calls in the future. read more

Servicing our Generac home generator with Grasten Generator Service was easy. Their technicians are very knowledgeable and professional.. They communicate their arrival time promptly and perform the service efficiently. After the service, they clean the generator and leave the place spotless. They inform the customers about the proper use of the generator. This is the first time that we heard from the technician that during the prolonged use of the generator - such as during a hurricane - it needs to be turned off for at least one hour within a 24-hour period. We've had generators for years, and this was the first time someone mentioned this to us. We certainly can attest to a high-quality service by Grasten. It is money well spent. read more

Extremely great service provided by Sean Murphy, couldn't have asked for a better service call. All work being performed was explained in detail, and completed without any delays. He apologized for not having the cellular transmitter, but that was completely out of his span of control. He made sure it was in his after-action notes so that when the transmitter arrived, one would be set aside for my generator. He made sure that the generator would start in the event of a power loss, and that it would also take the load of both AC units. Great work on his part! read more

Stay clear of this company. Once they get their money they no longer care. They miss scheduled appointments and never get back in touch with you. They don't provide the agreed upon service. Missed a day of work and waited over 4 hrs for them to show only to be stood up. Waited another 6 days to hear from them and nothing. Extremely rude, uncaring and unprofessional. This company is garbage and the owner Josh is trash and dishonest. There are far better companies out there than this, like Generator Supercenter. Cash and dash small time operation. Just had the best team of guys install our new 26kw generator. Cesar and Zach went to work quickly and went above and beyond making sure the equipment was functioning properly and spent a lot of time discussing the functions of the unit. Cesar even went back to get a new transfer unit since the one delivered had the pop out holes already removed. We have been very pleased with all aspects of doing business with Grasten. Their installation was done in a timely and professional manner. Their service afterwards has been really well done. They come out and check everything out, change the oil, change the battery if needed and run the generator to make sure all is operational. He also explained what I should do periodically to ensure the oil level is correct. I also received his report which was helpful in knowing the health of my generator. I signed up to have another years service based on his performance and paid for it in advance.... I am glad that Grasten has hired additional staff to address possible problems during a major storm or extended outage.
