They provided shampoo and conditioner, apron, brushes, treats, towels, cologne, and leash loops on the floor and in the tub. There was also a big dryer with multiple attachments. The front desk employee was friendly and enthusiastic about showing me how to use everything. This was $15 per 20-min slot. I ended up paying $45 for an hour and a half (it took me 1 hr to blow dry my doodle). It was my first time ever grooming the pup on my own as a doodle can be very labor intensive, but Sit Pretty made it very easy for me to do it and helped me out every time I had a question.

I have tried lots of local groomers and Tails and Nails are by far the best for the following reasons: quality of cut and care is very high, professionalism both online making appointments and in person, price (!!), she listens to what you want and executes it perfectly, clearly loves animals, price (!!), she doesn't make you feel bad about mats or dirty ears, etc. and overall friendliness. I have a golden doodle and she requires significant grooming and I like her hair longer. Timolyn does SUCH an amazing job with her - bath, hair cut, nails and ears all for 50$ (I always tip - she's worth it!) Definitely recommend making the drive out to give her a try. As soon as we walked in the owner Nancy was extremely patient and gentle with her and even took the time to sit on the floor and play with her and ease her in to the grooming! It's obvious she is a pet lover and very educated on animals and the grooming process. Everyone there was so nice and professional. Their website includes a cancellation policy that says low stress, one dog at a time. I visited in advance of booking to check the place out. I was assured that no other dogs would be in the room with my very excitable dog. When I arrived for the appointment it turns out he was going to be groomed on a table right next to another dog. And that table was strewn with lots of different items, it would have needed to be cleared off before they could put my guy there. Not sure what the plan was. So we agreed I would reschedule. Then I found they had charged $114 on my credit card. When I finally had service there today I'd assumed the charge would be applied to this service. I was told no, but after a little push back they relented. However, they charged an additional $90 for a second rinse - just a rinse, no dry, to remove the clippings that make my dog itch. Nearly as much as the full service. And I am concerned about cleanliness. when we arrived the floor and grooming table were covered with piles of hair from other dogs. gthere was even fur out in the hallway. Gwen swept it up, but only after I mentioned it. Likely the clippers and tools were not disinfected after the last dog, and she uses a shared lick mat, not cleaned between dogs. These are red flags in regard to disease. I wish them luck in growing a successful business, but I won't be going back.
