I intentionally scheduled it for a Tuesday because we pulled the whole thing together at the last minute and wanted to maximize my potential to find a caterer. He let me know up front that the last -second thing would be tough but he graciously accepted the challenge. Throughout the experience he communicated well and often to ensure that expectations were met on both sides. The day of the event they showed up on time and fully stocked. I was busy orchestrating the picnic events, but the response from our membership was positive regarding the quality of the meals they received. I'm somewhat of BBQ snob because I make some good stuff myself at home, but Tin Shack's food didn't disappoint me either. They'll be my first choice for my next event. And yes, if I knew he was at a brewery within a 30 minute drive of my location I'd gladly make the trip for their food and a beer.
