Ghost Pepper Mac and Cheese Memphis Street Corn Half BBQ Chicken
    Tiffany T.

I ordered a meal off grubhub since I've been meaning to try this place. My order was on time and correct. The street corn was good, chicken was fine but definitely needed the bbq sauce to help with it being a little dry. The "famous" ghost pepper mac and cheese didn't have much heat for it being ghost pepper. If I came back, I would just get the corn again and maybe try some other protein.

Smoky, sweet and hit the spot. Brisket was tender and melts in your mouth. Ribs fall off the bone. Chicken wings were good and saucy. The slaw is a vinegar base, and the greens were average. French fries were crisp and soft in the middle, thick cut fry. The building is a small bar/pub type feel, one street removed from the Carson street. My husband ordered his meal on grub hub, and while I'm unimpressed with the app, I am impressed with the management and staff. I received a call after his meal had sat for a while waiting for pick up and was marked as "delivered". They valued the fact that we are return customers and provided us a courtesy call to let us know the food is at the restaurant and confirmed it was not delivered despite the app notification and blurry picture. They held the order past closing and I picked up the food on my way home. I think this was beyond what they are expected to do and it was greatly appreciated.

School brought the food truck for teacher appreciation week and 1st taste of them. The employee was super friendly. Ordered the pulled pork with Mac and cheese. The pork was solid. Mac and cheese decent. Really enjoyed the reaper sauce on both...fairly aggressive heat which I enjoy. It was a limited menu and I wouldn't usually go for pulled pork given a full bbq menu...but for what was offered, it was a very positive experience!

A-MAZ-INGGG!!! I want to start by saying my food was delivered. The experience couldn't have been any better if I would have eaten on the premises. My full rack was ready to eat immediately, none of my sides needed warmed whatsoever. Each item was satisfying & tasty. The only suggestion I would make is for optional sauces for the ribs and/or additional sauces per your order. I didn't see an option for it while ordering, but I may have easily overlooked it. I can't wait until I done in to get the full experience.

What can I say other than BAAAAARRRRBBBBAAAAACCCOOOOONNNNNEEEEE!!!!! The Joyce brothers BBQ are a staple at this point in the south side and Pittsburgh! They have some of the better BBQ in the city and will always chat you up when you stop in. However, if you ever see their food truck out and about, make sure to ask for a Barbacone!(when is Guy and Triple D ever going or feature this work of art!!). Their monster creation is a BBQ dinner in a waffle cone and YES! It is as good as it sounds!(Seriously, someone get Food Network on the phone and get Guy dahn da South side!)

Nasty nasty not worth time or money.Okay mexican street corn , off the cob was DISSAPOINTING!!!! Definitely not street corn. Waste of money and food. Coleslaw not good and pulled pork is dry even with BBQ sauce. Not pictured here lobster Mac n cheese too small to cost 21.00.

$13.50 Brisket nachos to-go. Supported local, I live five blocks away, but it was super cold when it arrived.

I ordered two entrees and got two sad looking sandwiches. Ordered the smoked brisket and pulled pork entrees.

    Not worth $21

The brunette mentioned she had only been there for five days, but you never would have known it. She did an excellent job checking on guests and making sure everyone was taken care of. I ordered the 3-bone rib dinner with mac and cheese. I'll admit, I'm a bit of a rib snob, but these were outstanding. They had the perfect glaze with a nice crisp on the outside, weren't overcooked, and were so tender but not falling off the bone without being overly fatty. Easily some of the best ribs I've ever had. The mac and cheese was good, but it was spicier than I could handle. It would be nice if there were a non-spicy option available. We enjoyed a few beers, great food, and sat out on the patio listening to blues music on a beautiful summer evening. It was the perfect atmosphere, and I can't wait to come back. The only downside is that parking can get a little tight when they're busy, but it's well worth the visit.

Food and drinks are ready in just a few minutes and the dining area is ample with clean tables and clean floors. An upgrade of plastic utensils would be appreciated however. The chili was especially good as was the pork BBQ sandwich. Prices were reasonable to add to the experience. Parking can be a problem but there is some to be found on the other side of the street but lacks a crosswalk so be very careful.

The meats are smoked daily with a blend of hickory, cherry, and apple woods. Dining in, carry-out, delivery, and catering are available. So far, my husband and I have eaten three lunches from Big Rigs BBQ--two for dining in and one as a $250 takeout for family. We have tried most of the menu items and really enjoyed all of them. I have not yet tried every BBQ restaurant in the Pittsburgh region, but so far, Big Rig's BBQ is our favorite. For meats, we ate the brisket (5 stars, very tender and flavorful), baby-back ribs (5 stars, fall-off-the-bone and tasty), pulled-pork shoulder (4.5 stars, nicely smoked and goes well with the many sauces), original kielbasa (4.5 stars), cheddar-jalapeno kielbasa (4.5 stars), pineapple kielbasa (5 stars, an explosion of unique, delicious flavors), pork-belly burnt ends (4.5 stars, tender with a very flavorful sauce), turkey (4.5 stars, juicy and flavorful), and smoked turkey-club sandwich (5 stars, my husband loves its cheddar, bacon, lettuce, and dijonaise). For sides, we ate the mac and cheese (4 stars, American, cheddar, and pepper jack), potato salad (4.5 stars, with bacon, scallions, cheddar cheese, bell peppers, and mustard), cornbread (5 stars, with cheddar cheese and BBQ honey butter), BBQ baked beans (5 stars, very flavorful ingredients), and brussels sprouts (5 stars, tasty sauce). This BBQ restaurant also serves some salads. I ate a BBQ salad (5 stars) with my choice of protein, Nashville Chicken Breast. This salad might be the most loaded-up that I have ever eaten. Fresh lettuce and tomatoes as well as generous amounts of chicken, bacon, cornbread croutons that look ~2" in diameter, cheese, onions, and cranberries.

I greatly regret having to write this review. I contacted Two Brothers Barbeque some time ago to…read morecater my wedding. Initially, I had a wonderful experience. The individual I worked with, Terri, was initially responsive and accommodating and made me feel at ease about booking this business. I put down a deposit in early November. Later in November I reached out for some more information to aid in the planning of my wedding reception. However, I never heard back. I was not unduly concerned because this is a barbeque business and I thought this might be their "off-season". I assumed they would get back to me when they were able. I did not hear back from Two Bothers Barbeque, even when springtime rolled around, so I called them a couple of times. I did not hear back. At this point, I got concerned because our wedding was in only three months. I was eager to speak to them to have some questions answered. My fiancé suggested we drive to the business, so we could connect with them. When we drove to the business, we were rather dismayed to see many signs stating "Business for Sale." There was a phone number on one of the "For Sale" signs, so I called it and said that I had seen their "For Sale" signs and was interested in talking about this. At this time, I did not tell them my name or state that I was a client. I got a return call pretty immediately. When I received the call-back, I explained that I had emailed and called the business without hearing back, and that I was concerned that the business was for sale, as we were counting on them catering our wedding. The gentleman on the phone (the owner, I believe) said they were retiring and were winding down the business, but that they planned to honor all scheduled events. He said he would have Terri call me. I was extremely relieved - but only for a short while. Terri called after several minutes. I explained the situation to her. I told her that I was concerned because I hadn't received a response to my email or phone calls and then saw that the business was for sale. She said that the catering part of the business was for sale, as well as their food trucks, but they would still honor their contracts for the summer. However, she then said she would just refund my money if I was uncomfortable. I was taken aback - I had said nothing about cancelling the contract and was really just nervous about the prospect of the business being sold. I received no kind of apology for the lack of communication. Terri said that she hadn't responded to my email in November because I sent it too close to Thanksgiving and that she never received my phone calls. At some point during this conversation, Terri became quite hostile, raising her voice and becoming accusatory. She blamed me for the lack of contact and did not take responsibility for failing to respond. The situation became truly unsettling; in fact, may I say, deeply shocking. Terri did say that she had some medical concerns, which I do sympathize with. However, I have had a number of medical issues, some of them quite serious, and I have never treated a client this way. Ultimately, I stated that she could cancel the booking and send the refund, which was what she appeared to want to do in the first place. It really seemed like she did not care too much about the business or leaving us in a precarious position of having no caterer for our wedding. I left the phone call truly bewildered and told my fiancé I was sorry and that I had lost the caterer for our wedding. He said, "You shouldn't be sorry. You did absolutely nothing wrong." (He had been listening to this conversation.) We went home and brainstormed new possibilities, and, luckily, found another local business that was more than willing to cater for us. They have been a dream to work with. I know this review probably does not matter because Two Brothers is retiring from catering, but it is important that people be careful when dealing with this company. If you have a current date booked with them, please considering making a back-up plan. I'm not sure this business cares to uphold its promises, nor does it take responsibility for its own actions. Please be prepared for the worst-case scenario.

What they do well is consistency and customization. You get six different sauces, and they actually ask whether you want your meat lean and dry or juicy. I went juicy, and my portions were flavorful, tender, and satisfying. I ordered the beef brisket and pulled pork, and also tried the pulled pork sandwich. Solid across the board. They were out of the cream corn (bummer), the mac and cheese was fine and comforting, and the cornbread was excellent--classic, slightly sweet, and the clear standout.
