Well, I consider myself very lucky to have found them and have nothing but praise for their business and their classes. They offer Pilates mat classes, barre classes, Pilates hybrid and reformer (on the machine) classes as well as private or semi-private sessions. Their other instructor, Denise, has had decades of experience in fitness classes and I found that all three ladies are wonderful teachers with their own styles of teaching. What I like best is their willingness to modify any exercises to fit your personal physical needs and they do so seamlessly without any interruption to the flow of the class. I feel energized, albeit sweaty, when I finish. I recommend trying several different classes to get a feel for what your body needs. I'm in my mid-50s and know I need to really start making changes before age related issues start setting in and I find Pilates to be a good fit. This club already has some of the highest membership costs in the area (we were paying 265$ for a 1 adult, 2 toddlers, and 1 teenager). I was also surprised that members are required to provide a doctor's note in order to place their account on hold. Also, feels excessive, and wrong. The amount to downgrade the membership feels disproportionate. And the policies here don't feel member-friendly. Even the staff makes me feel unheard. Why not pick up the phone and have a conversation with me instead of sending a cold email. Just acknowledge my frustration instead of making me feel like I'm being penalized.
