I did a dumb thing that I knew was a dumb thing and my PC suffered for my transgression. First and foremost this is FEMALE FRIENDLY which seems like a silly thing to highlight, but based on the other places I've been to, you either get creeps or people who talk down to you. They didn't here and were both kind and professional, a rarity in any business. Secondly, they ran me through some things I could do on my own for no charge. Let me reiterate this, an employee of this business, for no charge, offered me a solution that their business specialized in. This is above and beyond and again, for free. This is as honest and considerate as it gets, especially in a field where people tend to take advantage of those who know less than they do. If you're looking for somewhere that actually is honest and affordable (I was given a quote for the issue and it's cheaper than other places -- especially if you take advantage of the coupon they have on Yelp!), this is the place to go in my vast experience dealing with family members and their messy PCs. The issue I have goes further than what I had initially thought, so I'll be taking it in to them and reporting back but in the meantime, in terms of actually dealing with a variety of Downriver PC businesses (for phones, gaming systems, and PCs), this was definitely the least painful experience I've ever had, including using Best Buy's Geek Squad for a family member.
