    Scream red wine
    Leilani M.

Coming out here at night sets a mood for spookies, highly recommend it. The evening held perfect weather to enjoy some wine outdoors under the starry sky and lights strung over the tables. DJ and dance area by the gazebo stage. Wine club members can enjoy discounted rates on wines and select events. This particular evening they were serving full service buffet style creamed corn, roasted potatoes, coleslaw, hot honey chicken and pork with rolls. Hot honey chicken was moist with a little kick. The tasting area is a long straight shot down the length of the facility. The old rustic charm will draw you in to choose some extra goodies. Double doors open up to the patio area with sporadic concrete landings among the dirt pathways. The pond is that Dawson's creek you wanna paddle out onto. There's a cute sitting area to take it all in and sip slowly. It is all dirt road heading up. Plenty of parking space on the grounds. Did a few tastings of Syrah's and chose the 2021 scream for our bottle. The Psycho is also a good choice or the perfect pour tribute wine. Service was hospitable and efficient. They definitely know how to throw a party and take good care of their guests.

We always try to stop at Graveyard when we are tasting wine in the Paso Robles area. They have a great wine list, easy parking, a large outdoor area for tasting and picnics. Give them a try!

Graveyard is a great place to check out. One of mine and my wife's favorite stops when in Paso. Always enjoy the hospitality and amazing wines. Memorable scenery!

Stopped here on Sunday at 4:15 pm (they close at 5). And yes there is a cemetery at the entrance. They were really nice and we got to do a tasting outside overlooking their beautiful pond. Tasting fee was $15 (waived with purchase of 2 bottles). They have cute friemdly dogs roaming around. Bottle prices were reasonable and staff was friendly. They didn't kick us out right at 5 which we also appreciated very attentive on coming out to pour when the glasses were empty.

Great spot, nice doggies laying around but between the clientele with tons of screaming kids, drunken fathers and teh hostess being MIA an only comes over when she pours the wine, not such good experience. Wines were not some memorable. They do also sell olive oil if I recall correctly.

We enjoyed this place the most, especially on St Patty's Day! Great band, sunny day and such beautiful scenery! Great gift shop... the hidden gem is CTs Dry Rub! Great Mac & cheese with corned beef!! We were also served a chocolate cake for all birthday party people in the crowd! We are new fans! Can't wait to get back!

Why the name Graveyard? Graveyard Winery is located on Pleasant Valley cemetery property. Nothing macabre at all. As a matter of fact you will find a very lovely, unique winery, vineyards and tasting room. That is if you dare to enter. You should!!! Graveyard Winery offers a very unique spiritual tasting experience. One that will have you screaming for more; and, one that will leave you needing a deliverance from. A delicious deliverance in the form of PORT :D Graveyard Vineyards wines is buried deliciousness that must be unearthed. Don't be afraid, just do it. You'll taste Smoky Rich wines that will make you scream. A Pretty in Pink that will make you blush. A chocolate lovers dream that is Deliverance Port. I entered as a paranormal wine skeptic and left as a true believer!

Our first time at this winery and is now one of our go to places. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable when we did our wine tasting. They have some of the best reds in my opinion. I took home Scream, Tombstone red blend, and Ascender sparkling pomegranate. They have live music, Jenga, and a small lake where kids were fishing. Loved the relaxing atmosphere with plenty of shade.

Peaceful way to close out the evening... beautiful sunset over the pond, a great selection of reds and fantastic customer service. So far the CSM and red blend are among my top preferences. The Deliverance dessert wine has hands down been my favorite of any place I've been to date (and I've been to some great spots!) It tastes like a tootsie roll!

I know that many businesses put something catchy in their About The Business section of the Yelp listing, but the first words of the Graveyard description couldn't be more accurate: Graveyard Vineyards "Come as strangers leave as friends". We were overwhelmed by Paula's hospitality, engaging conversation and inviting personality. WOW! To top it off their wines were very good and they had my favorite wine of 2019. We visited Graveyard twice, once on December 30th and then again on December 31st. We let Paula know that our favorite varietal was Zinfandel and she told us that if we came back on the 31st they'd have a bottle of their Mortal Zin (which is phenomenal BTW) open for us to taste. They were down to having three cases left, so I didn't really expect them to open a bottle for tasting. My wife and I agreed on our favorite wine which was the SCREAM!!! 2017 Paso Robles Blend which I found nicely complex yet smooth and very drinkable. Second for me was the Psycho 2017 Paso Robles Petite Sirah followed closely by the 2017 Syrah and the Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon which came in tied for third. I can't remember feeling more welcome at a winery and Paula did a great job directing is towards wines that appealed to us. Our visit on the 30th was our first to this winery but I will gladly return to Graveyard in the future. To top off the experience we saw an amazing sunset over their pond as our last sunset of 2019.

Four Sisters Ranch hosted one of the warmest, most welcoming events I've attended in Paso Robles wine country. Between the music, wine, food, art, vineyard views, genuinely kind people, and one VERY sweet winery dog, the entire evening felt joyful instead of performative. I especially loved connecting with Serena and Elizabeth and learning more about the story behind Four Sisters Ranch -- a winery built from decades of grape growing, craftsmanship, medicine, wellness advocacy, creativity, and community connection. And honestly? Finding out Serena studied both bio-engineering AND mixed media art may have been my favorite surprise of the evening. That is exactly the kind of beautifully layered human Paso Robles seems to attract. But beyond the hospitality, what really stayed with me was learning more about the Pleasant Valley Wine Trail collective itself -- wineries supporting one another while also giving back through scholarship and agricultural education efforts benefiting the local community. THAT is what makes Paso different. The people here still feel connected, and the wineries still feel human. Already looking forward to returning next Saturday for the Wine Club Pick-Up Party and seeing everyone again at the Under the Estrella Sky Charity Gala in August.

I believe sometimes companies have off days, and employees may have a bad day, which can affect one's experience, thus I dont let one bad experience ruin a company's review. But when it comes to my CHILD, you best believe i will never forgive and forget or let our experience be forgotten. We visited this winery expecting a relaxing, family-friendly experience and instead left with our daughter crying after being scratched in the face near her eye by the owner's off-leash dog. What makes this especially frustrating is that the winery's own rules state dogs must be leashed, yet the owners' dogs were roaming the property freely. Our daughter was calmly petting one of the dogs with me standing directly beside her when the dog suddenly growled and scratched her across the face. This was completely unprovoked and witnessed by the owner himself, who said absolutely nothing afterward. No apology, no concern, no accountability. An employee later approached us and said, "Sorry, he's old and maybe didn't like that she was the same height as him, which made him react".....which felt less like accountability and more like an absurd attempt to excuse why a reactive dog was allowed to roam off leash around guests and children. We also observed the dogs behaving territorially toward other leashed dogs on the property, making it even more inappropriate that they were allowed off leash in a public setting. My father-in-law is a VERY well known, well respected, and prominent winemaker in Virginia and across the United States, if you know anything about wine, you know him. So lets say, we understand winery culture and hospitality, fairly well. Had something like this happened on his property, it would have been handled immediately and professionally with genuine concern for the injured guest.....especially a child. Watching the owner casually continue on in his conversation with whomever, and pet the dog like nothing happened while our daughter screamed and cried was honestly unbelievable. In my opinion, not worth the visit for the subpar wine, if you want to take your children/dog somewhere. The poodles were friendly to me, and other adults, until we saw their behavior to other dogs & then my child....The complete lack of concern from ownership after a child was injured was shocking. Frankly, they are fortunate we chose not to escalate the situation further. Parents should absolutely be cautious visiting here with children or pets. An off-leash dog with territorial behavior has no place interacting freely with guests. Absolutely shocked and the owner should be ashamed of his actions & response (or lack there of) to the situation.
