This is a great winery with amazing wines. We honestly enjoyed every wine we had and ended up buying 5 bottles to take home (Chardonnay and 4 reds) Service was friendly and the cave tour was really cool. Nice grass space for kids to play. It was nice to meet the owner before we headed out. Next time we're in Paso we'll come back!

What a beautiful vineyard this turned out to be. It's no wonder it's so popular on Yelp. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The views are picturesque and they had a really cool underground wine tour.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Kind of reminds me of like a catacomb. We decided to do a tasting and to my surprise it was free! Unheard of. They stand by their wine and figure you will be happy to purchase additional glasses or bottles of those that you enjoyed. Service was super friendly and accommodating. This place is definitely a little unique compared to other wineries and you definitely need to check them out.

If you are doing a wine tour through Paso Robles, Eberle is an absolute must-stop! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It looks grand & historic but maintains the kind of down to earth hospitality that is synonymous with this region.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a wonderful time visiting the winery & their famous caves! It's 16,000 square feet of underground tunnels.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As one of the few spots offering complimentary tastings to our complete surprise! This winery is a hidden gem. We loved the selection so much we had to pick up a few bottles for home! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall Great wines, beautiful views & amazing service![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely going back!

Had a great time at Eberle winery today and even had a few laughs with Gary Eberle himself.

We got several suggestions to visit Eberle Winery while in the area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The tasting room was packed with guests all around the bar and possibly a few people outside too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It had been raining most of the day so we didn't look for or ask about any outside seating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They offer a wine cave tour but we probably got there too late to sign up for a tour.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We didn't want to push our luck since we felt like we were just lucky enough to squeak in as the last tasting of the day. The couple tasting next to us were wine club members from the area so we chatted with them for a bit. They were very funny and informative too. We heard about some of the sushi spots they frequent in the area and along the coast too. They told us Eberle offered free wine tastings plus discounts for veterans too so it definitely secured the sale for us! We enjoyed our tasting and bought some wine to take home. The wine room staff were all very nice and didn't rush us even though we were the last tasting of the day. They were already sold out of their charcuterie plates so we did get some marcona almonds to snack on to help tide us over until we could get dinner afterward. We enjoyed our time at Eberle and look forward to a future visit when we return to the Paso Robles area. I hope everyone goes to check them out and spreads the word that they have some wonderful wines for everyone!

Let me preface this with this - I rarely write reviews, and never have had to write a bad one sadly. I believe sometimes companies have off days, and employees may have a bad day, which can affect one's experience, thus I dont let one bad experience ruin a company's review. But when it comes to my CHILD, you best believe i will never forgive and forget or let our experience be forgotten. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We visited this winery expecting a relaxing, family-friendly experience and instead left with our daughter crying after being scratched in the face near her eye by the owner's off-leash dog.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]What makes this especially frustrating is that the winery's own rules state dogs must be leashed, yet the owners' dogs were roaming the property freely.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our daughter was calmly petting one of the dogs with me standing directly beside her when the dog suddenly growled and scratched her across the face.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was completely unprovoked and witnessed by the owner himself, who said absolutely nothing afterward. No apology, no concern, no accountability. An employee later approached us and said, "Sorry, he's old and maybe didn't like that she was the same height as him, which made him react".....which felt less like accountability and more like an absurd attempt to excuse why a reactive dog was allowed to roam off leash around guests and children. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We also observed the dogs behaving territorially toward other leashed dogs on the property, making it even more inappropriate that they were allowed off leash in a public setting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My father-in-law is a VERY well known, well respected, and prominent winemaker in Virginia and across the United States, if you know anything about wine, you know him. So lets say, we understand winery culture and hospitality, fairly well. Had something like this happened on his property, it would have been handled immediately and professionally with genuine concern for the injured guest.....especially a child. Watching the owner casually continue on in his conversation with whomever, and pet the dog like nothing happened while our daughter screamed and cried was honestly unbelievable. In my opinion, not worth the visit for the subpar wine, if you want to take your children/dog somewhere. The poodles were friendly to me, and other adults, until we saw their behavior to other dogs & then my child....The complete lack of concern from ownership after a child was injured was shocking. Frankly, they are fortunate we chose not to escalate the situation further. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Parents should absolutely be cautious visiting here with children or pets. An off-leash dog with territorial behavior has no place interacting freely with guests.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Absolutely shocked and the owner should be ashamed of his actions & response (or lack there of) to the situation.

Wonderful experience! The staff was welcoming and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they offered us a complimentary wine tasting and a tour of the underground wine caves. The tour was fascinating, and everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Paso Robles. Highly recommended!

Leaving a review for Eberle as it was my first winery experience in Paso Robles. Huge shoutout to Jen our wine pourer of the afternoon. She made my group of four feel so welcomed and educated that even now after almost a week later of going there, it still leaves a lasting impact of how much we enjoyed the experience. The wine was overall good. Their rośe is award winning but my personal favorite from their tasting is their Cabernet Sauvignon. We loved it so much we even took two bottles home. It was a bummer as they canceled their "cave" tour three times while we were there which we were really looking forward to - Communication on how this tour works was a bit .. awkward and the front desk didn't really give us a solid answer and then when we brought it up with Jen during our last pour, she said she would try to work something out and last minute, they had Steph I believe was her name- give a tour which we were so happy about but it threw off our original scheduled plans. The cave tour is definitely fascinating as there are so many fun facts that I'll save for the experience. But will say these man made caves were great to experience and walk through even for a short while. Not sure if it would be good for people who are claustrophobic as it is enclosed down there but still a great tour to consider as it's free. Don't forget to tip your tour guides and wine pourers. *fun facts: if you're lucky you'll run into the owner himself sitting out front enjoying his glass of wine. Also the two poodle dogs on property are cute and wander around- they are super behaved.

Love this spot! It is winery heaven and we stumbled on it by accident. I found this because I saw it had free wine tastings which I was in disbelief about but it was true! Free wine tastings and no pressure to purchase. Though purchase we did because it was lovely, including a surprisingly good rose (we are not big rose people). The space is nice with a great big covered patio overlooking the grape vines. It is not as spectacular a view as some wineries but solid nonetheless. The staff is so nice and friendly and just informative enough to give you a good sense of the wines without giving too much daunting information. We also got lucky to get a cave tour when they had space and we had mentioned interest in it but lack of availability. Also, the wine owner was a former biologist and went into wine making and now hangs out there with his dogs to greet guests.

Stopped in one of my favorite wineries in Paso Robles. Did some wine tasting and picked up a few favorite bottles. We were seated fast as we were just on time for our appointment. Our server did not introduce herself just poured away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating outside is great with an open view of the winery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Booked a tour of the wine caves online. The tour was short but fun. The wine tasting was complimentary which was a nice surprise. Got a couple of wine bottles for the road. This winery is very family friendly so you can bring your kids.

Me and the hubby booked a cave tour and came on Christmas Eve and boy was it pouring down rain!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]But the staff was super friendly and made everyone as comfortable as they could under the covered area to shield us from the rain and had the heaters on as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We did a couple of tastings before the cave tour and finished the rest after. Tiffany and Mike were very knowledgeable about the wines as well. Tiffany made the cave tour fun and let us take all the pics we wanted. I loved learning the history about the owner and the meaning of the small wild boar used in the logo! My fave wine was 2022 estate Cabernet Sauvignon and the hubbys was the Rosé. Our tasting was comped and that was a pleasant surprise!! We will definitely be back when the weather is nicer!

My husband enjoyed the Syrah while I had a glass of Chardonnay.

When we checked in and got to our room, the property felt completely empty. We were the only guests we could see, which made the whole place feel eerie and uncomfortable. We walked around the entire property and saw no one. There were only three cars in the parking lot, including ours and the front desk employee's car, yet we were told they were "fully booked" when we asked about moving to a larger room. The room itself was not great. The bed is extremely hard and squeaks with every movement. On top of that, the AC does not work. We told the front desk before leaving for dinner about the AC and were told someone would come fix it. When we returned, the room was even hotter than before & it felt like walking into a sauna. The windows don't open, so the only way to get air in is by opening the doors, which obviously lets bugs in. The "free wine tasting" was also frustrating. At check-in, we were told that we would get complimentary tastings at the tasting room. When we went to the tasting room, we were told they were "too busy" for tastings and that we would need to buy glasses of wine instead. We didn't want to make a scene, so we ended up purchasing a bottle and a glass, which came out to $85 & we never received the tastings we were told were included with our stay. Overall, this has been a terrible experience. Between the uncomfortable room, broken AC, lack of guests/staff on the property, and being denied the complimentary tasting we were promised, I would not recommend staying here. Do not let the 4.6 rating fool you.

Four Sisters Ranch hosted one of the warmest, most welcoming events I've attended in Paso Robles wine country. Between the music, wine, food, art, vineyard views, genuinely kind people, and one VERY sweet winery dog, the entire evening felt joyful instead of performative. I especially loved connecting with Serena and Elizabeth and learning more about the story behind Four Sisters Ranch -- a winery built from decades of grape growing, craftsmanship, medicine, wellness advocacy, creativity, and community connection. And honestly? Finding out Serena studied both bio-engineering AND mixed media art may have been my favorite surprise of the evening. That is exactly the kind of beautifully layered human Paso Robles seems to attract. But beyond the hospitality, what really stayed with me was learning more about the Pleasant Valley Wine Trail collective itself -- wineries supporting one another while also giving back through scholarship and agricultural education efforts benefiting the local community. THAT is what makes Paso different. The people here still feel connected, and the wineries still feel human. Already looking forward to returning next Saturday for the Wine Club Pick-Up Party and seeing everyone again at the Under the Estrella Sky Charity Gala in August.

The tasting at Mitchella Vineyard and Winery is $20 for 6 wines, with mindfully curated cheese pairings. (A fantastic deal considering the seemingly skyrocketing cost of everything.) The tasting fee is also waived with the purchase of 2 bottles, which is the route I opted for after completing my experience. Upon arrival I was instantly greeted by Lizzie, as she patiently and quietly waited for me to exit my car. She wiggled her butt toward the entrance, encouraging me to follow. Sweet little start to the day, I'd say! (The winery pup in case you haven't figured that out.) ;-) Rachel quickly greeted me and got me seated next to a heater in their enclosed patio, and the paired adventure began. The Viognier was paired with Kokos, a coconut Gouda cheese. Very surprising on the palate, and the wine definitely emphasized the coconut, while the cheese brought out the pineapple of the wine. The Chardonnay had a crisp mouth feel but still just the slightest hint of that butteriness I tend to love in my chardonnays. The subtle saltiness of the benning goat Gouda smoothed out the crispness of the wine. The Cheap B*st*rd (since I'm not sure what Yelp decides doesn't work for them), was quite enjoyable as a stand alone. For me it had the nose of what I would consider to be darker fruits and a generally more jammy wine, but it was smooth on the palate. The white Stilton with cranberry that it was paired out helped bring forward some of the fruit flavor, but the cheese itself wasn't my favorite (hence the stand alone aspect). The Tempranillo would be my grab a glass and a book and plop down by the fireplace (or on my balcony wrapped in blankets) type of wine. It didn't feel heavy and was just a nice sippable red. On the nose, for me, was a very dark red kookaburra licorice. It had a smooth, light finish and paired quite well with the mimolette (which I will forever know as the cannonball cheese thanks to Rachel!) Presumptuous, a zin, had what I consider to be a jammy mouthfeel (as I still can't figure out how exactly wine connoisseurs identify that!) It was paired with a Boschetto truffle cheese and I feel it brought out a very mushroom forward (favorable) taste when put together. For me, it isn't always about what can the food do for the wine... I love to experience what the find can do for the food! Give me a nice side dish of garlic sautéed mushrooms with a glass of this zin, and pretty sure I'm one happy girl. The only potential downside to me for this winery is that their restroom is a portable. While considerably clean, it's definitely a tight squeeze if you're a bigger girl like myself. Deal breaker? Not a chance. I look forward to a future stop when the vines are green and views expansive!

We had a lovely time tasting at Mitchella. Rachel was a wonderful and fun host. We have gone to many wineries and never tried a Rosé that blended a Zinfandel and Malbec. It was delightful! The wine tasting area is tranquil and beautiful as you are surrounded by the vineyards.
