I'm really excited to visit again. The staff, the regulars, the trivia host...everyone was friendly and welcoming. The beers are delicious. Acceleration is a very good IPA. Some malty notes and great bitter hops flavors kept me wanting more. The Barrel Aged Acceleration really gets you going. Caramel, smoke, oak, and bourbon flavors on top of a fantastic IPA. I'm a sucker for West Coast IPAs, so I had to try the Galactic Orbit two times. Great pone and citrus notes along with a round malty profile made it really nice. Definitely visit Gravity when you're in Louisville.

Gravity Brewing is spacious with wooden high tops and booths. It's a good place to meet up for couples or groups. They have a shelf with some board games or you could bring your own! They have a variety of brews, and even highlight when each was tapped. We enjoyed our pours as well as the space! The beertenders were knowledgeable about their current selection and were friendly! We'll be adding this to our rotation of breweries to visit again! {2024 review no.3}

Ambiance and service was top notch when we stopped by on a quiet and sunny Sunday afternoon to take advantage of their ample outdoor seating. This really is a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon outside with friends and family playing games and chatting. The only thing missing here in my opinion is a good IPA. The sours, lagers and heffs are all great but the IPA's are just lacking something. I sampled the DIPA, AIPA and their Hazy and they were just, meh. Idk not a deal breaker due to the atmosphere and outdoor space here but would be even better with a solid IPA.

Wings, rings and beer!

It is all about the beer! Great variety and good selections. Light, heavy, IPA, stout, dark, light English, American, etc etc. get a flight or get any size you want. Bar food? Also salads. Ordered some wings. Huge wings. I like huge wings. Not the baby wings. Onion rings. A little more cooked than I like but good with a horseradish sauce. Good to go back and try more or take home a growler.

First flight of IPAs.

It's attach the VFW. It splits in 2 parts to the right is the brewery and the left is the restaurant. Of course shocking we went to the brewery. No service. You walk up and order on both sides. We worked on a few flights and really enjoyed their beers! Really tasty and well done!

We got the meet the master brewer (magician) Taylor and as soon as we fell in love with his amazing art (we even had to buy some to go!), we learned he is going to be leaving in a few weeks... How sad... We just moved to the area, so I hope that they find another replacement just as good as and skillful as Taylor. His beers are amazing! I tried several different styles and have to admit that if there was not the madness around Covid 19 happening right now, we would be back this weekend (if not earlier, haha). Really great spot for any beer lover! Cheers

Mushroom pizza and buffalo wings from Gastronauts.

From the crowds here on the snowy Friday evening we visited, I can only surmise that this is one of THE happening places in Louisville! Though that's not a surprise at all, given how there's something for every one in the family and we can easily bring our toddler here without judgment. Note: It's also a great place for a casual date if you're lucky to be able to leave the little one(s) at home with a sitter. My husband (aka The Beer Lover) had a grand old time asking all about the different beers and choosing several to imbibe. I was all about the selection of board games and being able to indulge in pizza and buffalo chicken wings. Mmm...yes. The only less-than-ideal thing about Gravity Brewing is that given its popularity, finding seats can be challenging. Hopefully this is less of an issue once the weather warms up and the biergarten opens up.

Had a company event here and it was awesome. Really good bar / brewery food (pizza was great), and the beer was phenomenal. I highly recommend the Buttercup Porter. Slight peanut butter and coffee flavor. I actually brought home a 64oz growler. (That we finished the next day. Hmmm....We might have a beer problem??). Brown ales are really great. Definitely recommend you swing by if you are in the Louisville / Boulder area.

We went to gravity for a beer and some French fries. They have a very nice beer garden. My beer was great. My husband not so much but he has picked a funky one. The fries were pricey ($8 for an order of fries) but they came in a big portion and they were really good. Indeed the best fries I had in a while.

Acceleration and short pour of the Newtonian

We were visiting several local breweries while in Boulder for the afternoon. If we were in town again, I think we'd pass on this one. The beer was good; I had the Newtonian and hubby had the Acceleration. I just wasn't a fan of the vibe here - very hipster, modern...staff, decor, other customers, and we just felt out of place.

They also have a pop up restaurant onsite, Gastronauts, with good (if slightly expensive) bar food.

I've driven by this place so many times and honestly never realized it was even here. We finally…read morestopped in with the whole family, and it turned out to be a great decision. The beer selection was solid, and it was nice to see that they also had seltzers available. Food-wise, the menu is pretty much what you'd expect from a brewery, but everything we tried really hit the spot. The Bavarian pretzel was excellent, and the Green Chili Queso Burger was especially good and full of flavor. Overall, it's a laid-back, family-friendly spot with good drinks and satisfying food. Definitely glad we finally checked it out and we'll be back.

They are willing to answer questions and offer a suggestion. I am not a beer drinker so we checked to make sure before going in that there would be viable drink choices for me. One red wine option was disappointing but it's better than some breweries. And it's a Cabernet Sauvignon so that works. To ohhh they had a private party so they didn't open the kitchen until 5:30 (yes and early dinner). We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and then when the kitchen opened we decided to share a Bambei Burger which has grilled onions and blue cheese. Fire!! The burgers are smash burgers and come with 2 patties on a brioche bun. The burgers come with fries and it is a HUGE order of fries. The burger was juicy, flavorful and not too salty. The fries were crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. They could have been hotter but it didn't keep us from eating them. I can't believe it's taken is so long to try this place! We will definitely be back for burger night (and I may have to try the tator tot nachos). A lively spot for groups and watching sports.
