We visited Gravity Park on a Saturday evening with my family while on the Isla. You buy your tickets to the attraction you want to do at a ticket booth then you go to that line. Everything ran smoothly and quickly. The line was long but went fast. My grandson and daughter rode the Ferris wheel and had so much fun! $10 not bad at all. Pretty fun spot at south padre island. They have a bunch of rides you can on. Super fun atmosphere. Kind of expensive, but it's the only place that offers the activities, so I guess it's fair. Amazing sand castles, donations welcome. Very close to a bunch of restaurants. Perfect place to bring the children to have fun. Gravity Park was a lot smaller than expected, was very expensive, and I thought there'd be food trucks or carnival style food. There was not, but there were several restaurants nearby. $16 for a go cart ride or $22 for a double go cart was a bit much, however, you did get five laps on a multi story track. We played mini golf too, but $12 per person was an ok price. We didn't like the setup of the last hole. You either got a hole in one or the ball went back to the kiosk so there was no real way to score it as the kiosk workers couldn't even answer how to score it. read more

The best thing about this place is watching people scream their heads off on the few rides here. Other than that, it's filthy and old. Weak construction. The rides are pricey, anywhere between 15$ to 25$ per ticket. Go to a water park or one of the other surrounding adventure buisnesses. You'll probably get more ride time for your money. read more

For a family of 5, not too shabby on the price for mini golf and go carts! They are open at 7 p.m. nightly. They have a mini sand castle exhibit, a ferris wheel and two other extreme rides, as well as a mini arcade. We had a blast and would definitely come back. Parking lot can get full as the night progresses due to being near Dairy Queen and clubs as well. We came at about 8 p.m. but found a good parking spot. As we were leaving it was packed. read more

Good location. Go cart track is old school wood but my girls had fun. We did go carts and putt putt. Putt putt was kind of a nightmare just because they don't enforce their own rules which is no "non players" on course. It took us almost two hours to okay 18 holes due to large parties with 4 players and multiple family members lingering on course. Overall kids had fun but doing it again I would pick another time or avoid the putt putt. read more

My family and I loved this place! They have the giant sand castle there, rides, mini golf... I don't understand the low reviews. Yes it's old, yes you're gonna inhale fumes from the go carts, yes the staff have neck tats. So?!?!? We had a blast. The cart track is fun and they offer double carts and single carts to race in separate races. The Ferris wheel is a cool view point. Don't rock it, that wheel is from the 80's so yes, you may fall out if you rock it to hard. The mini golf is fun and the arcade is quarter operated. read more

This was a small kind of hidden gem, except for the huge ferris wheel... this is very close to Louies, so after enjoying the buffet and watching the sunset there we started walking to our car, but didn't quite make it. We did a pit stop here at Gravity Park, small area with big attractions. Rock walls, putt putt, go karts, slingshot oh my... We for sure enjoyed the go karts and felt as if we were in Mario Kart lol. We went here to play putt putt and enjoyed it very much! It's not your run-of-the-mill course, I think it's close to impossible to get a hole in one. It was different than most of the courses we've played and had some challenging holes. It was $10 each which we felt was reasonable. I just really wish there would have been water in the places there was supposed to be, it would have made the course more aesthetically pleasing. My other complaint was that when we paid at the ticket booth there were three people in there playing cards, no objection to that of course but there was a good bit of debris on the greens that someone should have taken the time to clean up/remove. Next time we're down here we'll probably play again. read more

Recoil is the amusement park across from Louie's, which has several rides and go-carts. The Rocket ($50 for 2) is a cage on rubberbands which is catapulted through the air spining and screaming. The Sky Coaster ($25 each) is a huge human swing, in which you're strapped into a harness and pulled up 100 feet then dropped and swung between the two towers. Or there's the Bungee Jump, where your ankles are strapped and you dive out of a cage at the peak of a crane. You interested now?? They are actually more fun than it sounds!! They also have a large wooden track for go-carts and a smaller track for the kiddie go-carts. The kids loved the Trampoline Thing (yes that's the name) where they got to be bounced around and flipped around. And for onyl $7 ya can't beat a kid's smile! read more

I had so much fun here. It's cute little theme park on the island that has go karts for little kids and big Kids. There's also mini golf course along with 3 other rides that involves me being thrown up in the air. I like to keep my feet on the ground these days. Very poor. Don't waste your money. My cousin and I rode the ferris wheel and mind you, it was in October, off season for for South Padre island, it was a maybe 90 second ride. We paid $14 for 90 seconds? Are you kidding me? What a waste of money. I'm extremely dissatisfied and expected more for my money. Waited more than an hour just to ride the go carts. Teenagers keep cutting the line and nothing is said. 10$ for single go cart ride. There's only go carts and golf and $30 per person "the rocket " and "sky coaster". That's all the rides that they have. read more

My ma likes mini golf. With this being the only option on the island my ma and family took off to mini golf. Fun little course for mini golf. Interesting what they did with the various elevations. And between putting balls it was fun seeing people be launched into low orbit from the bungee thingy seat for two in the middle of the course. Great location with Louis across the street. This place is great! Family fun and a great place to see the fireworks. The go-cart track is so cool. It's like a mix between an old wooden rollercoaster and a go-cart track... 3 levels and really fun. The mini golf is far and away the best in south Texas and being right in the middle of all of the great restaurants and fun is a huge plus. Tons of good food right outside the gates. We did it all, including the slingshot and the sky coaster! Great fun... go... you won't be disappointed. read more

I am giving this place 4 stars for one reason...The go cart track! Straight out of Mario cart the track is built out of wood just like a jersey shore Boardwalk. A fun spiral uphill section leads to and a crazy downhill you will love it. read more

They even let my girlfriend's son play music with his friends at the entrance to earn tips. For Mini Gold on SPI, this place is awesome. It is a bit pricey, but the atmosphere is fun watching people on the gravity activities. The course is unique and challenging. Keeps kids interest, and not too kiddie for parents! It's near a park over the bay for a nice walk afterward! read more

Fun, small amusement park on the island. It has a large mini golf (is that an oxymoron? Well.. 18 holes that are actually decent), adult sized, fast go-carts that scare little children away, a rocket chair that slings you into thin air (scary and fun!), another sleeping bag looking air sling that I'll try next time, and a small arcade area for little kids with pinball, boxing bag game, the toy claw, air hockey, photo booth and a few other things. The prices are reasonable. $25 per person for the rocket was a good deal since you leave your stomach on the ground for a few seconds and your heart probably has a few PVCs. It's been awhile since I felt my adrenaline pumping so for a junkie like myself it was awesome to watch my hands tremble after the ride. Well worth the cost. read more
