It's a lovely little store, with wonderful pricing. Helped get me into Warhammer, so cheers to chat!

The staff that was there when I visited was pretty young, which could explain the laid back vibe--but they were all very nice, helpful, and super knowledgeable, which was awesome. Starting with the not so great: - A downside to this particular place is that instead of choosing different scents to mix, they already have them pre-mixed. For example, champagne and clean linen scents are already combined, rather than letting you choose and mix them yourself. Since it's structured this way, it does speed up the process, but I will say there are still a few pre-mixed scents you can mix together that would probably turn out smelling great. - When I went to pick up my candle a few days later, I was disappointed to find that it was damaged. Not sure how it happened, but I was shocked when I unwrapped it to discover it was chipped. Even more disappointing was that the staff wrapped a damaged item without mentioning it to me. On the positive side: - It's BYO food and drinks, which we loved. My friends and I brought a bottle of prosecco, charcuterie, and quiche to enjoy. Our server let us eat, drink, and chat before starting the candle pouring, which was perfect for catching up! - Parking is easy - Gorgeous vessels to choose from - Reasonably priced They also have a little gift shop with an assortment of trinkets!

They have a wide selection of vessels to choose from for pouring your candle. You first choose a vessel and the price varies. Then you choose your scent from the scent bar. As you wait there is a small shop to browse, as well as photo opportunities. Once we understood what steps we needed to do then it was simple and they walked us through the quick instructions. We return in a few days to pick up our finished product.

Apparently, it opened about 2 years ago and somehow, didn't have any Yelp reviews. Well, I always enjoy checking out gift shops, especially when they feature a great deal from local artisans. When I first entered, I realized that the shop has three sections/rooms. The first is mostly gift items featuring candles that are made by and support women at Wheeler Misssion, funny socks, and a variety of items that suitable for gifts. Many have inspirational themes as well. The room beyond that features women's clothing and jewelry. I will let someone else who knows more about those things review these items, but the space was colorful and easy to move around in. The back room, or man cave, is small but is a great place for guys to hang out while their lady friend shops. There is a TV back there as well as some items that might be fun gifts for men. They've figured out the shopping experience of married life here! ha! Although I didn't get to meet the owner, the woman who was working during my visit was friendly and very helpful filling me in on the source of items and how the owner supports other local businesses and artisans. The kind of business that lots of Yelpers also support, so if you are in Fishers, check this place out before shopping at some big box store or online. It was a place I felt welcomed. Review #3723

They do not run big outlet locations like Goodwill where they dump donations in huge bins for people to root through and damage. You can drop off items behind their store, or in off hours bring them into the store. They so not spend tons of money on fancy TV commercials and fancy stores. Their profits go to directly serve homeless people and those with substance addiction problems. I personally know one of the people they helped to turn their life around. Please make the little extra effort to go to their thrift store which is east of the super Walmart on 96th to shop and donate. Help this small organizarion continue to do good work in our community.

This location is on the same side of the road as the Walmart and in the same plaza as the Petco, Platos, and the Autoparts store. The staff are super nice and there are a lot of volunteers walking around as well. I have found several things that are new with tags (priced accordingly), tons of name-brand goods, and there is rarely that funky thrifted smell that permeates everything you get from the WMS. They have everything from clothes to furniture/household goods to really nice jigsaw puzzles. Everything is super easy to find. Prices here at the Mission Store are a little higher than places like Goodwill, but every purchase supports the Wheeler Mission by providing meals and funding for training to their residents. There are also hand-made candles and other wares that the residents make while staying at Wheeler for purchase. Once while shopping I noticed it was busier than normal and the associate explained that they allow Wheeler residents to come and shop for what they need to get back on their feet. COOL!

Watching a good local game shop level up to a better space and somehow get even better in the process is the kind of origin story worth being loyal to. The selection here is the real deal. Puzzles, board games, TCGs, and enough variety to make you forget you came in with a specific mission. For me that mission is almost always the Magic: The Gathering singles wall, which The Game Preserve stocks with the kind of depth and organization that makes the whole experience feel less like digging through a binder at a flea market and more like consulting the Jedi Archives. Everything is where it should be, which sounds basic until you've experienced the alternative. The staff is where this place genuinely separates itself from the competition. These are not people who just work at a game store. These are people who actually play, who know the cards, who understand why you need a specific version of a specific card for a specific deck and don't make you feel like you need to explain yourself from the beginning. Case in point: on one visit a staff member helped me track down the perfect Sol Ring for my Commander deck. Not just any Sol Ring. The right one. That level of product knowledge and genuine engagement is rarer than a foil mythic and worth just as much. The rewards program is a legitimate reason to make this your regular stop if you're a frequent buyer. Points add up, the benefits are real, and it actually feels like the store wants your repeat business rather than just tolerating it. Five stars, long time customer, no plans to stop. The Force has always been strong with The Game Preserve and the new location only confirmed it.

They had different type of dice (up to 8 sides) and chess boards which was cool to me. Some of the games seemed a bit expensive for me though. This is a great store for people of all ages. The place is well organized, clean and has some fun decor. The staff is friendly and helpful.
