I took the Savannah Slavery to Freedom Tour with Sitstah Patt. First, the tour was very interesting. Sistah Patt knew her stuff. Needless to say, the topic of slavery is an emotionally difficult subject, but a necessary topic. Sistah Patt made it interesting and educational. Take this tour. You will be happy that you did. I also took the Bonaventure Cemetery and Wormsloe tour with Dan. I enjoyed that tour as well. It was very interesting and it ends with cookies (a stop at the Byrd's Cookies store)- always a good thing. read more

We had Stefanie as a guide for the day. We boarded at their office in town (they called the day before and told us we could park at the visitors center and make a quick short walk to where they are located). We loaded up and left promptly. She gave us some knowledge of the area on our way. She talked the entire way of lots of things we passed! We had a disabled person with a walker and she was very considerate and helped her get her walker on and off the trolley and made sure she was first on things and ahead of the group. She also had a cooler of free waters that I thought was very considerate! The itinerary was a bit different than the website I booked from. We went from their office to the boat ride, then lunch, then the lighthouse/beach area then dropped off people at their hotels and then back to their office. She said that the ticket was good for a couple days and that if you called them they would be there within 15 minutes and drop you off where you wanted within an area. Albert at Gray Line Savannah was wonderful, he's very knowledgeable about all the history of the area and gave a great tour, he even provided suggestions on things to do and places to eat based on what you're interested in. We certainly did enjoy this tour. Captain Dan was our tour guide. This particular tour was exactly perfect for our family; my brother and myself and our 88 year old Mom. We took the Panorama Van tour. Liked how the 90 minutes was all touring and not picking up or dropping off. Went all around the historic district. The guide Max filled the time full of information non stop. The pick up drop off service anywhere in the historic district til 5 for two days was interesting however we just walked from end to end and really enjoyed going thru the squares and seeing all the historic buildings. Of the three tour companies I am glad we had a full 90 minutes with Kelly Tours/Graylines. read more

We took the trolley and boat tour to see Savannah. Everything went smoothly. The guide for our trolley tour was very informative. The Georgia Queen boat tour was very enjoyable on a beautiful sunny day. Parking at the visitor's center was very easy. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city. read more

Went on Dennis' Warmsloe/Bonaventure Cemetery Tour. We learned so much about the colonization of Georgia and the surrounding area. Wondering through a cemetery is always interesting as well. Lunch at the Driftaway Cafe was AWESOME....just the best day yet in Savannah! Highly recommend this tour. read more

I'm really torn between three and four here. I'll explain why. Negative: VERY VERY LITTLE information on any history dealing with people of color. It was mentioned once during the entire 90 minute tour on land. This is a huge cause of this review. Savannah is rich in history and a very important history. It was a let down to find very little out about civil rights during this tour. Positive: Our tour host was kind and funny. Pretty tour. A good view of the city. Sea: Was super fun and pretty. Bartenders are WICKED under staffed. Please just put water and cups at the bar so people don't have to wait in liine for water. The line is so slowwww. You'll miss a ton of the views/tour. Again missing much info on the civil war. Final note it's really a trick, sit on the "right" side of the boat, when you turn around you'll get to see a canon in action! read more

John was so knowledgeable and talked the entire 90 minutes! My husband who doesn't normally go for any kind of tour bus, was very glad that he went! Even though we have a car and could easily drive around, we decided to go for this tour, and we are so glad we did! Save your feet and spend the money!! read more

I've taken a couple Grey line tours in Savannah. Most recently was the Savannah for Morons tour. We met at the main office on Martin Luther King and were quickly checked in. The trolley was waiting for us. Our driver did a great job keeping up with the show. The trolley was super clean! They had COVID safety signs posted inside the trolley and required everyone to wear masks. read more

We took the open air tour today and it was AMAZING. Our driver/guide, Ben, knows everything about Savannah and it's history and he's funny as hell! He had us rolling. It was a great time and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a thorough rundown of Savannah's "must sees". read more

Took the 9:30 am Grey Line tour of Savannah. The guide provided lots of information about the city, but it was like a drive with an encyclopedia. He didn't engage the group which would have been more fun. We saw a lot of the city. Could have skipped the newer portion of which is still being renovated and stayed in the historic district as far as I was concerned. read more

Took the 1pm tour today 4/6. Sitting in the back. Driver doesn't give any explanations such as on the left or right , just "there" gave very little historical info. Was expecting more info on the history not just naming the buildings. Bought through Groupon. read more

I took the Tybee Island Dolphin tour today with my wife. The dolphin boat ride was great, and the rest of the tour was not good at all . Our driver, Radar, was so informative about herself and more about herself. Nothing I can remember about Tybee Island. Here are the things I remember about my tour today, 19 June 2021, Radar was in the Army, which I respect as I'm retired Navy, then she had 4 kids, one wanted to cut her hair and her dad was mad but she's over 18, she has been fought over from different bus lines trying to get her to work for their companies. The crab shack has the best food and best low country boil. Heard that 6 or 7 times. I learned so much useless knowledge of the crab place we spent almost 2 hours at. I think she had a vested interest in the crab shack. Then got to spend a whole 1/2 hour at Tybee Island to visit the lighthouse and the beach. Absolutely ridiculous time management.  I also learned that Radar looks so much younger than other people her age because she doesn't wear makeup, or much makeup. She went to a ZZ Top concert got a little drunk and all she waited for was for them to spin their guitars in circles. She also went to Alice and Krauss concert and she sang 4 songs Acapella and everyone was crying. Also on her bucket list is to travel to elephant island. She has a 2017 Honda Civic she had to work three jobs to get and it's a rare color/ model combination with that particular package.  If I wanted to know all this useless information I'd be Facebook friends with her. I went on the tour in hopes of learning a little something about Tybee Island. Not spend almost half my time at the crab shack she so dearly loved. We're not talking about a ton of money... $120. It was my time that I hated wasting. However that was My hard earned money that I feel y'all just took from me for no services provided. I didn't pay to learn about your bus drivers life history. She was nice, but I signed up for the Tybee Island tour. Not the history of Radar tour. Please contact me if you need any more personal information about your driver or you would like to discuss my completely wasted day of my vacation. Our group of four selected land and sea package, 90 minutes each. Our trolley tour was extremely informative and enjoyable. We were dropped off at river cruise with enough time time for a surprisingly nice lunch on boat before cruise began. We chose seats at front of boat for cruise, which were the best to see everything and clearly hear the narration. read more

We picked Grayline out of 3 choices when I found a 20% off coupon in a flier. The coupon didn't work but booked anyway. We had less than 12 on our tour so it was perfect. Our guide was great giving us information and history and I would definitely use them again. The other tours were packed full of people and with covid we appreciated our small group. read more

Dennis was our tour guide. This guy is fabulous! We were lucky to get Dennis for our dolphin tour (HIGHLY recommend) and our Savannah tour. Dennis was friendly , funny, to everyone on the bus making us all feel comfortable and welcome. He was super knowledgeable about the area, history is clearly a passion for him. Also Gray Line Savannah (kelly tours) lets you use their shuttle services for two full days, a nice touch for those wanting to go back to the sites later the same day or the next day. Highly recommend this awesome company it's the people that make it so good! We were only going to be in Savannah for a couple of days and was going to take a hop on/hop off tour to make the most of our short visit. When we said this to our conciege at Holiday Inn Express Savannah Historic District, she said they partner with another company, Gray Line Tours. We are SO glad we talked to her! Gray Line was fantastic! The drivers were very friendly and knowledgeable. We had an absolute blast and a fabulous tour! Our guide was Brian and he was awesome! As we toured, or rode from one site to another, we consistently saw packed hop on/hop off trolley's with long lines at each stop. We are so grateful to Theresa for reccommending Gray Line!
