We had a wonderful time on our trolley tour throughout Savannah. There are 15 stops (currently 12 as a movie is being shot along the river so the street is closed) along the way, which brings you close to so many attractions. The drivers announce must-see spots at every stop and in between, and also tell of legends and fun facts. Take note, though, that it's pretty expensive- $50 per adult. If you arrive after 2pm, they will comp you for the following day as stop 1 has the last pickup at 5pm. They use the same trollies for their evening haunted tours. read more

This trolley tour was probably our favorite experience of the whole weekend. It was a sunny spring morning with a cool breeze and it was so relaxing to ride around sight seeing for a few hours. I recommend getting on the earliest stop possible in the 9:00 hour because it fills up. They start at stop 1 at 0900 and we hopped on at stop 3. After our stop, there were only a couple more seats that filled up fast. Denise and Glenn with two N's were awesome! They told us all kinds of fun facts about the city and pointed out details that we wouldn't have otherwise noticed on our own. We did this tour on the morning of day 1 of our trip and this helped us acclimate to the city and bookmark places to stop throughout the rest of the trip. Highly recommend! read more

Jared was our driver. So funny and really knew his stuff! By far my favorite driver on the whole hop on hop off experience!!

We missed our shuttle by about 5-10 minutes. Our fault, we just didn't take into account the extra time to get back and we didn't wear our stickers to alert the driver. Our driver, Cindy, says "I'll drive you back". Completely above and beyond her job! She made the ride enjoyable with all of her stories which were so interesting. The disrespect from the driver. Didn't catch his name but wouldn't listen to any of our questions about what stop we were at, etc. I'm sure other drivers aren't as bad but definitely won't be back. Not to mention how rude other riders were when a child asked to sit with her mom. They preceded to yell at the child and tell her to shut up because she was talking over the driver speaking. She was not she was really sweet and respectful about it. 0/5 definitely do not recommend for anyone with children or those that do not know Savannah. read more

I get that they are touristy but we usually do a trolley or hop on bus tour when visiting a new city. These tours provide a good lay of city and some bits of interesting history also. They also act as sort of taxi or bus for the rest of the day getting around. Savannah Trolley Tours had about 15 stops around the the beautiful city of Savannah. For about $30 per person, the tour goes over the history of Savannah and show the most prominent buildings as well as the river front in Savannah. Our guides were very good. Covid precautions: masks required for all passengers 10+ Tour: Wonderful way to roam the city and learn the history as well as legends of Savannah. Loved the on and off options for the tours. The tour itself was very good. Great stops that were all places we were interested in. We did the short (no stops) option. The actors that hopped on board were amazing and stayed in character. I can't give it 5 stars because the tour guide was really obnoxious. He enjoyed making fun of people on the street, but also made a few crude comments, including one about giving lap dances to the passengers. Great experience, the tour guide was funny and made the stories entertaining. We purchased the hop on and hop off but stayed on the whole time. If you purchase tickets later on the day they will give you vouchers to come back the next day to enjoy the hope on and off. I'm giving this 5 stars because riding the trolley sure beats navigating the streets myself and doing the research on my own about the history of Savannah. I loved the characters that got on the trolley at some of the stops. They dressed and sounded the part and were a fun break from the guide. The guides seemed to have been told to never stop talking, because even with nothing to point out, they would throw out personal tidbits. If it was just a couple of times, I would have been okay with it, but I found this to be somewhat annoying because they were constantly droning on. I would have liked to have some silence for at least 30 seconds here and there. Overall, I would recommend Savannah Trolley Tours. read more

This tour company is just okay. There are too many stops on the tour...15. But you can hop on hop off at any of them...the more popular stops were quite crowded and people had to be picked up by the next trolley. Because of the trees on the street...you actually see just partial views of what your guide is speaking to. But the city is beautiful...there are interpretive signs on buildings and the age built. Our guide was good at first and funny...but after stop 11...it got very boring...and no interpretations...I think he was just happy to be almost done for the day! Tour is okay...if you can walk some it it...that might be a better way. But for $30, just okay. read more
