This trolley tour was probably our favorite experience of the whole weekend. It was a sunny spring morning with a cool breeze and it was so relaxing to ride around sight seeing for a few hours. I recommend getting on the earliest stop possible in the 9:00 hour because it fills up. They start at stop 1 at 0900 and we hopped on at stop 3. After our stop, there were only a couple more seats that filled up fast. Denise and Glenn with two N's were awesome! They told us all kinds of fun facts about the city and pointed out details that we wouldn't have otherwise noticed on our own. We did this tour on the morning of day 1 of our trip and this helped us acclimate to the city and bookmark places to stop throughout the rest of the trip. Highly recommend!

We missed our shuttle by about 5-10 minutes. Our fault, we just didn't take into account the extra time to get back and we didn't wear our stickers to alert the driver. Our driver, Cindy, says "I'll drive you back". Completely above and beyond her job! She made the ride enjoyable with all of her stories which were so interesting. I'm telling you, this lady is a wealth of information and makes you laugh. Great great person! I'll never forget our ride!

I get that they are touristy but we usually do a trolley or hop on bus tour when visiting a new city. These tours provide a good lay of city and some bits of interesting history also. They also act as sort of taxi or bus for the rest of the day getting around. Savannah Trolley Tours had about 15 stops around the the beautiful city of Savannah. For about $30 per person, the tour goes over the history of Savannah and show the most prominent buildings as well as the river front in Savannah. Our guides were very good. What was unique about Savannah Trolley Tours is that on some stops they had actors dressed in period outfits giving further history on this charming city.

Just went on the holiday tour. Had a fun time. Red was so festive. You could tell she enjoyed what she was doing.

Stephen and icy were great guides. A little disorganized on what stops one can be picked up at. Good information

Bonaventure Cemetery two hour waking tour…read more A cemetery tour? At first I was a little skeptical when our local trip planner recommended it. Then i found that that Tauck Tours ( hgh end) includes Bonaventure in their Savannah itinerary. Very happy we decided to take this tour Our tour guides nom de plume was "Lady in Mourning" and she has a true love for the cemetery its history and its symbolism. We appreciated how she was able to convey this feeling and knowledge to us. Every city has a uniqueness and Bonaventure is that for Savannah. An excellent compliment to a history of Savannah walking tour.

Shannon Scott does tours right with their seamless booking process and informative tour guides…read more For $30, our tour guide Paschal provided an encyclopedia's worth of information with passion and enthusiasm. The tour was well paced and thoroughly informative ranging from topics such as Savannah's history, important historical figures from Savannah, architectural symbolism, and popular culture references. While the tour was very informative, it leaned heavily on historical and religious references which had my partner and I lost at times. We are all for learning about history and religion in the context of modern society, but full on history and religion is overwhelming for the average person. It also doesn't help that the history of Savannah is very white and while my partner and I are Americans, our roots lie elsewhere. My favorite parts of the tour were the breakdowns of the symbols on the tombstones (such as urns, crosses, flowers, etc.), the breakdown of generational wealth, and the resting place of Johnny Mercer (founder for Capitol Records and acclaimed songwriter). I think the tour is also easier to follow for people who take the trolley tours around the city or have previous experiences in ghost tours in other cities such as New Orleans. Since this was the only tour we did in Savannah, we felt a little uninformed compared to the other 6 in our group. But at least our tour guide was open to answering all our questions and fostered an environment where we were comfortable to learn more. I would definitely recommend Shannon Scott tours for anyone who wants to learn more about Bonaventure Cemetery and the history of Savannah in general. It was not what we expected as we were expecting more ghost stories but it was fun nonetheless. Just remember to bring bus spray because the sand gnats will eat you alive out there.
