Spent twice as much time on the bus as we did at Butchart Gardens. Spend your money elsewhere. Uber , taxi or bc transit

He also balances the tour (about six stops) with anecdotes about the history of Victoria and how immigration built a food culture - adding immensely to the experience. Me and my vegetarian spouse both loved the tour. Highlights included an awesome and hearty meat ball and an Anjali Spring Roll with an amazing peanut sauce. You'll definitely feel full after the tour so plan on a lighter lunch and dinner!

And he works hard to have six of the tastiest treats you'd want to try, ready at just the right time as you walk through Victoria. He even helped one shop prepare their Matcha lemonade for us when they were overrun with customers! Besides the lemonade, we had a fantastic meatball, terrific spring roll, Filipino pastry, delicious Korean fried chicken, and a top quality chocolate. We did NOT need to buy dinner that night, either. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Easily 5+ stars. We'd repeat this tour next time we come. Thanks Andy!!

On the way off the dock we ran into the John T. with Victoria Pedicab Co. who offered us a scenic tour of Victoria and the opportunity to do a little shopping. We figured what the hell, it's more interesting than Uber. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our vacation. John was personable and interesting, friendly and engaging. We got to see all the highlights of the beautiful city, plus the history and stories that went along with it. The historic neighborhoods, the beautiful city park, parliament, and China Town. John stopped at cool places for photos & offered to take pics for us. He also stopped by great shops where we could grab those last minute gifts for family. As the sun went down, he offered a blanket to keep us warm and made sure we saw the magnificent sunset. When it was all over, we felt like we had a decent knowledge of Victoria, and we had a new friend in Canada. If your cruise ship stops in Victoria, I highly recommend taking a trip with the pedicabs, especially if the weather is great. It's well worth your time.

Nate took us past some amazing houses, and shared his love of the island and city while steering us into the city. We had a blast with him. On the way back Brian took us a different route so we saw another side of the neighborhoods, and learned about housing on the island. Both were great rides and if you find yourself in Victoria, these fine people will make getting around a dream.

It's a little pricey and it doesn't take long to get to the top, but the views really are stunning and like nothing we'd ever seen before. Afterwards, we walked back to the visitor's center via Luke's trail. We didn't have kids with us this time, but the trail is perfect for young ones. There is a scavenger hunt/hide and seek set up along the way and lots of opportunities to learn about the land as you walk. We are glad we went!

We had a party of 12 people, and I was hoping for some incentives for larger groups or for BC locals, but there was none... Parking was free. Entering the facility was a nice nature walk. You could either walk on the wooden walkway they have constructed or follow the nature path. Either way, both were nice to experience. Arriving at the Malahat tower, it was a nice incline, nothing too overpowering, but the view was great, and seeing eagles flying above you was such a nice experience. When arriving at the top, the 360 view was incredible. You can either walk back down or take the slide down. I really recommend the slide. It's fast but really, really fun :) Oh, we arrived the day before Mother's Day and didn't find out the next day on their social media that there was a promotion. If you went to Malahat on the Mother's Day weekend, mothers were given free admission on another visit, but we weren't offered that. We had 3 mothers who went that day, too! My 2 cents: 1) Dress warm it can get windy up there or during the climb up 2) Washrooms both at the entrance and when u arrive at the tower 3) Wear proper shoes
