We had been looking for an electrician since around Dec 2022, but didn't get around to it until…read moreApril 2023. All the estimates we got have been in the upper $1000s so it was hard to decide. But then I was looking at our local fb Duvall pages and Jon's business came up. We called him and told him that we needed our car charger installed, but already had a full panel so we needed some things moved around before he can install the charger. We waited for his company's contractor's license to get approved before he started working on our project, since our HOA required it. When it came time to install, he mentioned that he'll be able to move some wires around to make room for the charger. He gave us about 30AMPS with our 240V plug and so far we haven't had any issues with it. And by far, he was the cheapest among my other estimates and was very friendly and communicative with the process. He finished our project in like 3hours or something. He even mounted the charger for us. He also did mention that our Autel charger was easy to install since he didn't have to open up the charger box to be able to screw it on the wall, unlike other chargers, so I guess it was an easy job for him too. Overall customer service was awesome, and we definitely recommend his professionalism and service.

What stood out was how quickly he was able to find the actual problem--it didn't feel like guesswork. After fixing it, he tested everything again to make sure all the outlets were working properly. That extra step mattered to me because it showed he wasn't just trying to do a quick fix and leave. He also gave some practical advice on a few devices in the house that weren't really useful and what could replace them. I asked him about EV charging, and he walked me through different options, including cost and tradeoffs, in a way that was easy to understand. A few outlets in a room of my home randomly was providing very low power one day. The breaker…read morewasn't tripped so I didn't know what else to troubleshoot. I did a Yelp search and found Washington Electricians rated very high so I reached out to them. Moath quickly responded within 20 minutes and we were able to schedule the inspection and repair a couple days later. Moath was kind enough to give me an ETA before he arrived. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue: we accidentally overloaded and partially melted some wires upstream since we had two space heaters on the same circuit, but the breaker didn't trip because it didn't exceed the amp rating. He repaired the wires and replaced the outlet. He also inspected and repaired a few other outlets we had concerns with, including one outdoors. He also gave me suggestions on space heaters and how we can avoid this problem in the future. Moath finished the job in under an hour. With all the outlets that Moath inspected and repaired, I thought the repair fee was reasonable, especially since it seemed to avoid any unneeded or excessive repairs. I appreciated how prompt Moath was, his transparency, and how he was very clearly able to articulate what the issue was and what repairs were needed.
