Asked for a quote on my escalade ESV, said & I quote "how much to detail my Cadillac Escalade esv?" Owner responded $185. I said ok can I schedule for Thursday. He responded can I do mornings, I said yes anytime after 8:30. Then he comes back & says it will be $200 since it's an ESV. I said no thanks as I clearly stated that FIRST THING! As a business owner I can't & wont go back on a quote because I didn't read something. The owner then proceeded to get ghetto with me back &a forth & once I asked if he was licensed he all the sudden stopped responding License check shows he's in fact unlicensed & I'll be reporting him to the city & state! I had services by this company. He never showed up the 1st time. I had to call him and he stated he misplaced our number. We rescheduled and then we waited for him to arrive. He never informed us that he does not come to the door so we waited for over an hour and no show. I call him and it was only at that time he informs us that he doesn't come to the door and he was there. He returns only to move the vehicle down the street to clean instead of like he said at the house. Very disappointed with this service and would not recommend or use again. I can't get over how awesome their service was! This needs a little background to give you the whole picture. I had called 3 separate detailing places (mobile and brick&mortar) before calling Gray's. 1.) No one else picked up the phone or called me back until 30 minutes after my message. BJ picked up on the 2nd ring and was really pleasant to work with, he answered my questions honestly and with no Bullcrap/Salesman Junk (trying to upsell, "special packages", or being vague with prices). 2.) Their price was really fair compared to the other quotes I received (when the other guys finally got back to me). I know that other sized cars may cause the price to vary but for my Subaru Impreza they were at least 1/4 less expensive than the other guys. 3.) I let BJ know that I needed the detail done ASAP because I recently purchased a new vehicle for my wife and this will now be my work car (it was torn up from family use and I have to drive clients regularly). BJ called me back really quickly after checking his schedule and moved some things around to get my car done the SAME DAY. I was not expecting this at all and from what I have heard this is really uncommon. It speaks to their professionalism and how they are willing to work with your needs. 4.) The price BJ gave me on the phone was the same price he charged me after the work was done. It may not seem like a huge deal but try this out with any other detail shop and see how they try to nickel and dime you. 5.) They spent 4 HOURS DETAILING MY CAR! For the price, I was expecting good service but nothing special. I was blown away with their attention to detail and how amazing the car looked inside and out. My car looks BRAND NEW! Bottom line is, if you are using anyone else than Gray's for your detail work, YOU ARE A MORON! Thanks to the guys at Gray's Detail for an AWESOME job. :) read more
