We really enjoyed the board. The portion size was larger than expected, very fresh and nicely prepared. No complaints.

I used to have no trouble ordering with Eat Out In…read more Now that they have a 50 dollar minimum order they refuse to take my order unless I call up and agree to special fees. As single person, I am sorry that they are no longer interested in my business. When I spoke to them, they said that this was to offset delivery fees. If delivery to my area costs more, charge everyone. Don't punish me because I am single and don't eat as much as everyone else.

I do not recommend Eat Out In or Grubhub for Work…read more I decided to try Grubhub for Work tonight as my family and I were in a pinch. Despite the exorbitant delivery fee ($9.99) and high service fee ($7.41), I placed the order at 4 pm for a 6 pm delivery. It wasn't until 4:51 pm that I received an email stating the restaurant was not accepting orders from Grubhub. Grubhub offered me a $9.99 credit. I find it unacceptable that they failed to notify me for nearly an hour after my order was submitted online. I also find their service and deliver fees twice as much as their competition. Not at all worth the value and I will not do business with them again. And yes, their website does force you to pay gratuity (minimum 10%). Grubhub for Work used to be Eat Out In. I was a repeat Eat Out In customer until errors with several consecutive orders forced me to switch to a competitor (errors typically were item/s missing or there was the time where I received someone else's order completely).

Also, how food is handled is critical. Before food reaches the customer, the chance it has gone through many hands is higher, and the foods are stored longer before reaching you. Often, food additives are preservatives added to keep the food fresh for longer. However, buying from the farm is safe. It comes from the farm or grocery direct to you. Additionally, farm-fresh foods help reduce stress and fatigue. Veggies and whole fruits are fiber-rich foods that lower the effect of depression and enhance your mood (score)! I have ordered fruit, vegetables, meal kits, beverages, meats, etc. from this vendor. I have had great experience with customer service, and concerns regarding missing or incorrect items or verifying delivery times have been addressed promptly. The goods from this vendor are on the pricey side, but well worth the money for fresh food delivered to your home. #supportlocal

The fried chicken was cooked to perfection - flavorful, light and filling. The sauces were so good! We got medium spice level, which was pretty good but I think I'll try one level up (spicy) next time for more of a kick. If you're a spice lover I'd recommend that. I preferred the Kai Prao because of the diverse flavor profile and the addition of bell peppers for some crunch. Yum! All orders are served with a side of white rice and their house salad. A hearty, filling and affordable meal to satisfy your next Asian fried chicken craving.

They said it would be about 20 minutes for food since they were slammed, but I appreciate knowing it was made to order, so no problems there. Tried the Kaeng Panaeng and it was good overall. Huge portion size but wasn't quite what I was expecting. Salad was pretty standard but I'm glad they kept it separate so it wouldn't wilt from the heat. As for the chicken, I was hoping by itself it would be more thai inspired/marinated/seasoned but it's effectively just chopped up chicken tenders to be dunked in the curry. The curry is flavorful, albeit a bit watery, which I wish was reduced a bit. But if curry is not your thing, my friend's Kai Zabb was very good: tangy, sweet and heat all at once, so good to really switch up bites. And while I wasn't expecting sticky rice, I can't help but say it's the first time I've had thai fried chicken without it. All in all, I think its a great new place to try out, but if you've had thai fried chicken before, just temper your expectations.

Every single week we are blown away by the flavor, creativity, and care she puts into her cooking. Her meals are so good that we honestly no longer want to eat out. The food she prepares for us at home is consistently better than what we would order at restaurants, and that says everything. Each dish feels intentional, nourishing, and beautifully balanced, with just the right touches to make it feel special without ever being heavy. Every meal has been outstanding, and the consistency is what truly sets her apart. Chef Steph has completely changed the way we eat at home, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found her. If you are considering working with her, do it. You will not be disappointed.

I never thought I'd be able to justify the luxury of a private chef service, but I keep this…read moreservice as a lifeline in my back pocket for weeks that we just need a little extra help, like when the demands of parenting and working during a global pandemic seem extra burdensome. So far, we've had three appointments, and they've all been wonderful. For each one in advance, you choose the time/date for your chef, three entree items and three sides. The "sides" is a bit of a misnomer, as you can often make meals of these in themselves. They include salads, hot breakfast casseroles, pies, and more. Recipes range from Mongolian Beef to Shepherd's Pie, homemade granola bars, Thai Chicken salad, etc. I imagine if we did this weekly, the options might get monotonous, but doing it every once in a while works out well for us so that there are usually a few new options that appear the next time we're ready to book an appointment. For each item you'll see an estimate on how much extra it will add to your bill in groceries in addition to the base chef cost. The chef will stop at your local HEB to shop for your ingredients fresh right before your appointment. You pay a $35 deposit, which you can get refunded if you cancel the appointment by the stated deadline (and they send you frequent reminders -- they're not trying to pull one over). On average with tip and the cost of groceries, we usually spend around $225 for our family of four. The meals last us a while. Sometimes we share them with friends who could use an extra meal, or sometimes we freeze the leftovers. There are instructions for reheating, freezing, etc. As stated in other reviews the chefs are generally efficient and very tidy, leaving your kitchen looking spotless, with a huge amount of prepared food for you to enjoy (it's hard not to dive right in). Communication by text is great. During COVID, the chef has worn a mask during the appointment and the service has had very clearly communication about canceling in the event of COVID exposure, etc. I appreciate that they're taking it seriously. If I had a couple of critiques, it would be that whatever process gets communicated to the chef regarding ingredients might need to be streamlined. The past two appointments, our chef has had to make a couple of grocery store trips because he forgot items, and this prolongs the preparation process. I would also love to see a bit more variety to the menu options. It would be nice to have it broken down roughly by type of dish (seafood, beef, casserole, etc.) and price (budget friendly or special splurge). Other than those minor tweaks, we love the service, and I imagine we'll keep using it as occasional customers.
