Absolutely a wonderful 10+ dining experience! We celebrated my Aunt's 100th birthday here with a special cake and the most delicious Italian food! One of the best meals I've ever had. My friend threw her parents an anniversary party here, so we had two tables upstairs. (The restaurant itself is tiny inside.) The party split mozzarella wedges, bruschetta with balsamic drizzle, and a mushroom appetizer that I didn't get to sample. And the garlic bread! Yum! The salad was a standard salad; the $1 up charge for the provolone is worth it! I ordered chicken pizzuto (their specialty dish) and tried my friend's chicken Vincenzo. Both were fabulous. I split banana bread pudding (delicious) and a berry rice pudding (tasted like cream of wheat- not worth it) for dessert. We came into town to see my sister in the hospital at Kennedy. Knowing what part of the country we were in (and the fact that I'm pregnant) I knew I had to take the reins and find not good but great Italian food. So first ask some locals, then double check online and last but not least talk the whole fam into the 20+ minute drive after traveling from 4 different states. ( Florida, DC, South Carolina and Ohio) So check check and check. We walked in and my fam all smiled. The atmosphere was full of electricity! It's a small space that is full of delicious scents and interesting things to see. Our eyes were only kept busy with the walls until we got the menus. Everything is home made, they make their own linguine too. We all had different dishes and some of us shared. My brother hovered over his plate like a starving man. He wasn't sharing! Lol we all ended up so happy we made the trip even in FREEZING weather. Only wish my sister could have joined us. Maybe next time because even though we aren't from here I'm sure there will be a next time. read more

This restaurant is small and amazing (like me - jk!)! We had early reservations at 5 pm because we skipped lunch. The complimentary peppers and bread brought to us right away, were very good. As was our young male server's attentiveness. The house salad was really tasty - total old Italian style like my mom makes (oil and vinegar too). I picked a stupendous dish - Chicken Pizzato (chicken cutlet, crab, caramelized onion). I'm talking best meal of the year! Other worldly delicious - not kidding. Joey's Penne Vodka was most excellent! The meatballs - exceptional - so tender! Nice decor, adorned mostly with cool photos and Tiffany lamps. Our bill only came to $53! This was my first time eating at this restaurant. I found it quite charming, with it's photos of days gone by. Our waitress was the best. She was very attentive. We were just disappointed in the food. My husband got a creamy Marsala Chicken dish with shrimp in it. He didn't enjoy it. My Eggplant Parmesan tasted like it had been previously frozen. Wowwww, this food was phenomenal! We got there with no reservation (definitely make a reservation on the weekend) and they still fit us in. And holy moly this food . . . We blew it away. We had a reservation for 5 PM and arrived on time only to wait 10 minutes to be acknowledged as it seemed they didn't have a host/hostess. The room to the left was decorated and looked cozy but, we were seated upstairs in a well lit, sterile looking room with a family of 10 already eating. The food was tasty and the star of the show was the salad. We loved the dressing! On the opposite end was the bread basket. The garlic bread was stiff and, there were only 2 small, thin pieces. Think rye toast at breakfast but, the small near ends. Overall, my veal parm was tasty. It's an average Italian place and, if we returned it would be for the bar. read more

We came in for a late lunch.I ordered the Salad for 1...which was ok.The menu said it came with provolone cheese..On the check,the server added one dollar for it.We both ordered the veal Parmesan,my wife had it with pasta,I substituted Spinach for pasta,server said I could no problem.On the check she added 4 dollars for it.Again,never said there was an upcharge. Truer than true Italian home cooking. Family-owned and maintained for years and years. I honestly don't even know where to start. I'm fortune enough to live about 10 minutes from the restaurant. My family and I often get take dinners. They offer family meals to-go, and every one just as delicious as the last. Their specials are so amazing that I rarely order from the menu. Drinks are excellent. The atmosphere is like you stepped back into old world New Jersey Italian. A quaint little bar (my preferred seating) or tables on the other side. Homemade meatballs!! All of their sauces - chefs kiss! Wonderful options of chicken, seafood, baked pastas. My friends had calamari take out from here in the summer of 2021 and still talk about it to this day. I'll be honest, this place might really only be a 4 stars, but the comfort the restaurant and cuisine bring really bumps it up for me. If the quality of the food at Graziano's matched the quality of the Frank Sinatra mural on the side of the building then it wouldn't surpass Olive Garden. Thankfully, ol blue eyes never got to see this cartoonish rendering of himself sucking down plastic spaghetti straws. And thankfully the food at Graziano's is so damn good, your drive down Rt 30 will seem scenic. Once you walk in, the clutter of classic Italian American photos on the walls let you know right away that this South Jersey gem has one draw, and that's the food. The decor is so tacky it's charming. The small horseshoe bar downstairs is the perfect spot for a Negroni. Walk upstairs and check out the leopard pattern chairs. There's a golden toilet in the men's room. Elvis classics mixed in with Sinatra play in the background. Perfect Jersey Italian American tackiness. But the FOOD. Incredible calamari. Tender. Not rubbery. Excellent dipping sauce. The bolognese was flavorful and done right. Their seafood pasta dishes have so much flavor. And good flavor. Dirty martinis for 8 bucks that wash down the food and clean the palate while they relax the mind. The menu is extensive. All the classics with some combos that feel fresh and unique. Incredible roast pork sandwich and other hoagies. We've been here for two special occasions and are planning more. The fact that this place is sitting on its own on a corner in Hicksville and it's absolutely essential to make a reservation is a testament to the charm and quality of food.
