Lunch at Graziano's in Chiselhurst NJ savoring their chicken cutlet!

Absolutely a wonderful 10+ dining experience! We celebrated my Aunt's 100th birthday here with a special cake and the most delicious Italian food! Everyone ordered a different entree and all the food was excellent! The traditional dishes had the flavor of my late grandmother's cooking! The ambiance of this small restaurant is so cozy and warm with memories of Frank Sinatra! The expert staff knows how to make an event extra special too! It is now my favorite Italian place to dine! A grateful thank you also to my good friend who recommended it to me! Grazie mille to Graziano's Ristoranti & staff!!

Food IS AMAZING. Poor girls caviar is my favorite appetizer! Service is fantastic! All the staff is knowledgeable of the menu and the bartenders make a mean espresso martini. Ambiance is giving "favorite Italian restaurant" and is cozy. Would recommend for families, girls nights and special occasions! Make a reservation!

Had a wonderful meal. Would absolutely return. Excellent service. Meals were delicious and plentiful. My espresso martini was very good. Fun eclectic old school feel and we loved it.

One of the best meals I've ever had. My friend threw her parents an anniversary party here, so we had two tables upstairs. (The restaurant itself is tiny inside.) The party split mozzarella wedges, bruschetta with balsamic drizzle, and a mushroom appetizer that I didn't get to sample. And the garlic bread! Yum! The salad was a standard salad; the $1 up charge for the provolone is worth it! I ordered chicken pizzuto (their specialty dish) and tried my friend's chicken Vincenzo. Both were fabulous. I split banana bread pudding (delicious) and a berry rice pudding (tasted like cream of wheat- not worth it) for dessert. Some of the best Italian American food I've had, and for a Jersey girl, that's saying a lot!

For an appetizer we both had Jumbo lump crab cocktail (Fantastic). They brought out house salads and Bread with peppers. My wife had Chicken parm over capellini (very good gravy) and I had Seafood Tortellini (Crab, Shrimp and Asparagus). The portions were generous and the taste was amazing. For dessert, my wife had cinnamon roll churros with Vanilla ice cream and I had a Spumoni Bomba. We really love this place and can't wait to come back. The only thing that could be an issue is that the restaurant is small. We went on a Thursday around 4pm and were able to get a seat however I can see weekend nights may be an issue. Also shut out to Brody, our server! Made the experience 5 star.

A Sunday, 98 degrees out and the 1st thing we notice is that it is sweltering inside. No big deal. The martini, $15, missing the top 3rd of the pour. We watched as the server told the bartender to stop pouring so he wouldnt spill it walking over. Reasonable perhaps? No! Because we watched as the bartender poured himself the rest of our drink and seemed to enjoy it right at the bar. Now the food. A wedge, fair for $16.95. But addeded a piece of tuna and now we have a lame $32 bowl of iceberg. Chicken parm and penne. Chicken was over an inch thick, not your typical chicken parm. But it was the sauce that ruined the dish. Since when is sauce so thick that it holds up the penne from touching the dish, almost like it was tomato pudding. Dont know what happened to this place, but it gout our last dollar!

We weren't greeted properly, and the atmosphere just felt uncomfortable. As a family of color, we didn't feel very welcomed. Our waitress wasn't rude, but she was very unprofessional. She brought drinks before even giving us menus and never mentioned the nightly specials. I only knew about them because I checked online beforehand. I had to ask for the specials menu myself, which was strange. The food took a long time to come out. We had to repeatedly ask for refills and extra bread just to hold us over. When the food finally arrived, it was disappointing and not very appealing. One dish was so bad we sent it back after one bite. Even then, the service didn't improve. We constantly had to flag the waitress down, and instead of being attentive, she was venting about her personal life and having random, unprofessional conversations. When the check came, we were still charged for the dish we sent back -- she only removed part of it. I also wasn't given the advertised special pricing and was told it didn't apply because I asked for a different container -- something that was never explained beforehand. We spent $100 on food we didn't enjoy, with poor service and an uncomfortable vibe. The bread was honestly the best part of the meal. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

A+ Food, Drink, and Service…read more Initially dined at Francesco's several years ago and recently (July 9, 2023) made my way back there for another meal. As soon as you walk through the front door, there is a large bar and bar area. To the left is a formal dining area complete with enough tables and chairs to accommodate parties of multiple sizes. The decor is somewhat dated, but the establishment is clean and well-lit. Same with the bathrooms: a little dated, but clean, with good lighting, and stocked with everything a bathroom is supposed to provide. In general, the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Our server, Patti, was prompt and attentive during our entire stay. She took our drink order immediately and then explained the specials expertly. Everything we ordered: drinks, appetizers, and entrees - were all served to us promptly and in a reasonable amount of time. Patti checked in on us several times to make sure we were content with our meal. Plain and simple: the service at Francesco's was great! The food we ordered arrived hot and delicious. It seemed to me that everything the menu described as "fresh made" or "homemade" was indeed prepared that very way. My appetizer was the beet salad. The ingredients were fresh and the presentation was amazing! For dinner, I ordered the Chicken Filippo. The portion size was generous and the chicken, mushrooms, and artichoke hearts complemented each other perfectly. My vegetable was snow peas sauteed in garlic aioli - yummy! Throughout our meal, we were supplied with hot and crispy bread as needed, along with plenty of butter. I am looking forward to returning to Francesco's and would highly recommend dining here. Remember to check their Facebook page, as they have daily and weekly specials, happy hour specials, and some events/specials the revolve around Philadelphia sporting events!

The parking lot was PACKED and it took a bit to find a spot. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait, which was significantly less than I thought considering they do not take reservations for parties less than 6. We were actually sat in 15 minutes and our server brought us waters and Arnold palmers while we perused the menu and specials. After placing our order, a food runner brought us buttery warm garlic rolls and a different style of crusty bread as well. We decided to start with the arancini ( Italian rice balls) which came with four huge rice balls stuffed with a ground beef bolognese style and served with marinara. Our house salads came with a thousand island style dressing and consisted of chopped romaine, grape tomatoes, and cucumbers. Very basic but the dressing seemed like it could be made in house. For our entrees, I did the limoncello chicken and my best friend did the paparadelle with lobster. Mine had the most decadent lemon cream sauce bathing several chicken cutlets covered in crab meat with melted cheese and a huge mound of capellini. His was covered in chunks of lobster claw meat, mushrooms, prosciutto, and peas with a sherry blush sauce. Both entrees were huge and we took more than half home but everything was delicious. For dessert we opted to share the tiramisu since it's made in house. It had a thin layer of chocolate on top, which made for the most delicious mocha flavor. Our server was wonderful, the place was packed with people celebrating birthdays and everyone sang every time another candlelit dessert was paraded through the dining room. The ambience is cozy and comfortable and I can't wait to go back!

We arrived early around 4:30 and noticed there was plenty of open seating in the bar area. They start you with the most delicious, soft, chewy exterior bread bites. You can tell the plain evoo they provide to dip it is superior quality. It was very bright and fruity. Lirona was our server and provided attentive and well timed service. Food was delicious. Cocktails were well executed. We noticed management was on the floor the entire time ensuring things were going smoothly. We will definitely return. The next visit may be a light bite at the bar. The menu is a very nice size. That along with the fact that the place has gone a lil viral concerned me a little. There is nothing to worry about. This place delivers on quality service and food in a lovely, modern atmosphere. We only have one ding for our evening. I had requested a cozy two top that wasn't in the middle of the restaurant. We were seated at a two seater directly behind the glass door when you enter the dining room from the bar area. We felt subject to all traffic in the restaurant and felt a smidge smooshed. They even carted chairs past us to the bar area while we were there. I would never want to be seated there again. That was disappointing. We giggled upon entry to the foyer at the music they have playing on repeat. It made me smile.

Scarpelli is a new Italian, fusion style fine dining restaurant located in Hammonton NJ. They've…read morebeen open for less than a year, but it is very trendy and hyped up on social media. It's beautifully decorated with several artificial lemon trees and vines throughout the bar and dining room. I loved the lighting fixtures and the color scheme too. They specialize in table side dishes which you can only get in the dining room, so make your reservation well in advance since this spot is hard to get into last minute. I had the spritz flight to drink with my choice of 3 of the 4 available options. I had the limoncello, calabrian, and Hugo ranked from worst to best. The flight glasses were larger than expected and these were very easy to drink without a lot of alcohol. They were good, but I've had better. My husband got a hot black tea which he enjoyed & admired the acopa teaspoon it was served with. They brought out freshly baked rolls with olive oil and these were delicious and the best part of the meal, because I felt like the overall experience was below average. For appetizers, we got a single order of the Caesar salad and the table side order of the Scallops Brûlée. The Caesar was very underdressed. The bite I had tasted like straight lettuce and parmesan, so we had to ask for extra dressing which made it better but still a bit underwhelming. It was more acidic than other Caesar dressings we've had with almost no anchovy. The table side presentation for the scallops took a bit of time, and after taking my first bite it was cold and undercooked. I had to send this back and asked for it to be finished in the kitchen. The second scallop dish was very charred and the sugar crusted topping was too much for me. For how delicate scallops are, I didn't really like how over-seasoned these were. The pea and asparagus puree helped to balance the flavors slightly but I wouldn't get this again. We noticed the manager walking around and in past experiences, usually they would stop by to make sure the second dish was to our liking. He stopped at a lot of other tables, including the one right next to us, but skipped ours several times. For entrees, my husband got the pork chop at the waitress's recommendation. I got the chicken parm which was served with a side of pasta in marinara and the chicken parm had both vodka sauce and marinara. This was one of the most under seasoned dishes I've had at a fine dining restaurant. The marinara was runny, and there was no fresh basil on top either. It's like they forgot salt completely and I've had better chicken parm's at mom & pop pizza shops. The cavatelli pasta with marinara sauce was also bland and I only had two bites. The pork chop on the other hand was flavorful and juicy, but after having one of the most incredible pork chops in Ventnor, this just wasn't that memorable in comparison. The presentation looked like it was a Mexican fajitas dish. I was expecting something more refined, and you could see all the pepper juice swimming around the mashed sweet potatoes. This was our first time here and we were celebrating a birthday but we opted out of the free dessert and sparkler since loud music and attention is the last thing my husband wants, so maybe that's why the manager didn't stop by. Who knows? They did gift us with a signed card which was a nice touch. We enjoyed the rapport from all the staff we did encounter. The waitress was very friendly and personable. The table bussers made funny jokes and were very surprised we didn't want to take home any of our half eaten entrees, but it just wasn't worth taking.
