I will give this establishment two stars but truly it deserves one. I went to this restaurant supporting my Uncle and my Aunt's band. My company and I were traveling and we made it a priority to see them perform. Food was fine and the waitress we had was beyond friendly and helpful. The company I was with sent back two drinks because they did not like them, they both asked for a sweeter drink. The waitress accommodated and provided better options for the company. The waitress took the drinks back. The manager came by for useless small talk also trying to convince the company I was with to keep the drinks and the drinks were made sweeter....which was not needed our required. We paid for our food, spoke to my aunt for about 20 minutes in the restaurant and then we got up and left. I thought my company tipped so I did not tip. The manager CAME outside to OUR vehicle, harassed and heckled up for a tip. I provided 20 dollars cash to the manager stating I thought a tip was provided. Tipping is not mandatory, and no I do not mind tipping at all. The issue I have is you FOLLOWED me to my vehicle and heckled me for a tip. Also the manager stated the waitress makes her living off of tips and she barely gets paid at all she basically made it seem she received below a base pay of minimum wage. Now was the tip provided to the waitress? I have no clue. But please do not lie and blacklist my aunt and uncle performing in future for this establishment because their entourage "did not pay." Clearly I have receipts. This is blatant racism and discrimination because why did you follow me to my car? Why was that interaction needed? I will never come back this establishment and thank you for showing your Black patrons your micro aggressions and racism.

I've only ever been to La Camp for dinner. We decided to go for Happy Hour on a Wednesday night which ended up being a great deal. We arrived right around 5pm and were able to get 3 seats at the bar. The bar was ultimately pretty crowded through the end of happy hour but thinned out once happy hour concluded. The dining areas were the opposite; not very busy when we first arrived but got busier and busier the later it got. It was very nice the entire time we were there. It wasn't too loud despite the restaurant being crowded. As I mentioned before, there were some items on happy hour that were a very good deal. Select cocktails were $6. I started with a Lemon Drop martini -- I can't pass up a $6 martini -- which I enjoyed. It was very tart and smooth. My dad ordered a happy hour margarita which he liked enough to order another. After browsing the Happy Hour food menu, I decided on mussels in Fra Diavolo sauce and we each got a burger. The bowl of mussels was large, the mussels tender, and the Fra Diavolo had just the right amount of heat and was delicious enough to eat by itself with a spoon. We were provided complimentary pizza bread (which was very good) and a loaf of warm, soft bread perfect for dipping in the sauce the mussels were served in. The burgers were $10 each and served with chips, but we chose a $1.50 up-charge for fries. Not the greatest burger I've ever had but a great deal for $11.50 and something I'd order again on happy hour. Burgers were served topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese. I thought the bartenders were attentive and professional all night. While they were busy mixing drinks and pouring beers they always found time to make their rounds and check on their patrons. La Camp is a great restaurant in a rather remote area with not many other eateries around. Whether you're looking to have a couple of drinks at the bar, a quiet dinner for two, or a celebratory dinner for a special occasion, La Camp would be a fantastic option no matter the instance.

We started with drinks -- my wife had a Blue Hawaiian and I ordered a Speakeasy cocktail. Both were well made and a great way to kick off the night. Fresh bread was brought out with roasted red peppers and an herb butter, which was absolutely delicious. For our appetizer, we had the bacon-wrapped scallops. The scallops were perfectly cooked, the bacon was just right, and they were served with a horseradish cream sauce that complemented everything beautifully. We also ordered a tableside Caesar salad, which was very good and a nice touch to the experience. For our main course, we both ordered the 16 oz ribeyes. I had mine topped with black truffle butter, and my wife chose the espresso rub. Both steaks were cooked a perfect medium rare -- tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly as ordered. They were served with mashed potatoes and fresh green beans, which were excellent sides. For dessert, we shared tableside bananas foster and I had a cup of coffee. The bananas foster was amazing and a great way to end the meal. The staff was super friendly and attentive throughout the entire evening. Steak 38 delivered on food, service, and atmosphere. We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great steakhouse experience.

My wife had the clams casino and a filet w/ mashed potatoes and green beans and I had the surf and turf which both were excellent. A perfect dinner. I can't really complain about the parking since I did find a spot. I will return.

This review covers a few visits. Happy hour, good deal, tasty food and drinks and pretty good…read moreservice, would recommend. Group event, went as part of a holiday party and the food, service and wine were all on point. This was a long happy hour not sit down so I cannot attest to a large group sit down dinner. Lastly dining in the main dining room, 6 people, Saturday night. Service was thin, read, our server was busy with a large group in the back and the neglect was evident. Now this doesn't mean the rest of the restaurant crew couldn't step in but really didn't. We were graced with a water refill once over the course of the dinner, although the friendly server who did pour the water said she walks around to fill water, she was never seen again. Our entrees were brought by a group of servers who disappeared after placement of the plates. So it would appear people were working they just seemed to ignore our table. Food was great, I wouldn't have gone if I didn't think the food was on par, but spending this kind of money you want a balance of service and food. You can see the accumulation of glasses that went on removed between wines. Now happy hour is discounted and you are at the bar so you get front and center service. Standing in the group room you are able to flag a server, sitting in the middle of the dining area and being largely ignored just rubs you the wrong way. I had two people ask why are you going to Flemings when I told them our plans. A competing steak house at the Cherry Hill Mall, we have attended many, many times without fail. You don't know how good you have it until you go someplace else and realize service is a lost art at some places. I am posting more for public service announcement, i would hope management reviews and tries to address this rather large service gap. I have never had this issue at the capital Grill, so it is disappointing to encounter it here, particularly when the food was on point.

My 100th Yelp Review is way overdue, but am happy it is a momentous one…read more As this was a dinner of a lifetime. It was the second weekend in December and we arrived on a cold night to Eddie V's. With the chill in the air, it was a pleasant surprise to see valet parking available for patrons. We pulled up, the young man was so quick and friendly & we headed inside. We had a 7:30pm reservation and could see the restaurant was packed. Lots of holiday cheer around the bar area for sure. Our coats were checked. We waited quite some time in the corridor, however after about 10 minutes a staff member appeared with a tray offering of champagne, for all who were waiting. This was an exceptional consideration. After about 10 more minutes we were seated. In the back room of the restaurant, back corner, along side their Christmas tree. The ambiance was only made more perfect by the birthday card and confetti they had adorned the table with. We started with cocktails. My signature Sapphire Martini with Blue Cheese Olives. Spot on. Perfect dirty, only a vermouth kiss and big ole hand stuffed olives. My husband ordered an Old Fashioned. It was with a specific rye on menu that was not available at the time. The server had them substitute Whistle Pig 12 (complimentary without upcharge). This again was so considerate. Our server was so attentive, generous, complimentary, careful and helpful. We loved having him. Our Food- The bread was warm, crusty and chewy. Along with the creamy, fatty butter flaked with salt and chives. We ordered our appetizers- Oysters, Calamari and Dumplings We loved having the opportunity to try multiple varieties of oysters. They all tasted clean and distinct. My husband loves horseradish, so it was fantastic to see a side offering of just that, with the cocktail sauce and mignonette. And the lemon was in a bag!!!! The Calamari was a joy. Asian flair, crisp veggies, the calamari sang in texture and light fry. And cashews!! Squid and cashews. Inspiring. We also tried the Wagyu Dumplings. Plump, savory pillows. The beef was tender and flavorful. The wasabi cream gave a zing. Our meal had the best start. For entrees, my husband ordered the Lamb Chops. I ordered the Sea Scallops. Sides we had - the Lobster Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus. (We had leftovers, lolol) The plating for this Lamb was so strategic. It sat atop its Chimichurri Butter Sauce just the bottoms dabbling in it. So at your desire- to dip at whatever length the lamb, into the sauce, or eat the lamb alone. This dish was incredible and genius. My Scallops were seared spot on. Golden crust but a mild, clean, sweet inside. Cooked exactly. The pepitas gave a nice crunch and the squash puree gave a seasonal spin. But the scallops stood on their own and it was perfect. The Asparagus had bite, was not woodsy and not over seasoned. Just a well cooked vegetable. The Lobster Mashed Potatoes was butter heaven. Creamy, the huge chunks of lobster were swimming, and no potato peels, so smooth & decadent. We were stuffed so nixed dessert, however- a birthday dessert arrived. What a show! Flambé hooray!!! A firey plate with bananas, a coffee chip ice cream and chocolate cookie cake. We ate it happily, (hating ourselves later, for being so stuffed). This dessert was so sweet in gesture and taste. An ideal ending. This was sincerely the most care we have ever felt dining out. We felt like (and ate like!) a King and Queen. The thoughtfulness that went into our night gave miracle service. Model class, truly magical, and unprecedented. Thank you Eddie V's for a birthday experience so incredible in food, small touches and care that I will treasure and feel special for forever.

The restaurant was completely packed, and by the time we left, there was a crowd gathered out front waiting--definitely a popular spot. Inside, the two-person tables were set quite close together, making the space feel a bit tight, and the noise level was quite high throughout the restaurant. Service was a highlight. Our server, Nadine, was warm, friendly, and attentive. She answered our questions with ease and always had a welcoming smile, and the bussing team kept our water glasses filled without us ever having to ask. We started with the complimentary warm bread and butter, which is always a nice touch. We were also each served a fried oyster called amuse, which was a pleasant surprise. I had the crab cake appetizer, followed by the Big Glory Bay king salmon with a side of crab fried rice with mushrooms. My husband ordered the Wagyu dumplings and the Norwegian salmon. I enjoyed my dishes--everything was well-prepared and flavorful. However, my husband wasn't particularly impressed; he found his dishes to be average and not especially memorable, which made the overall experience feel a bit uneven. While the restaurant delivers on ambiance and solid service, the food didn't quite rise to the level you might expect for the price point. Overall, it feels like an elevated mall restaurant--pleasant, but slightly overpriced for what you get.

My wife again chose The Chop House for her birthday dinner celebration and for great reason! We came on her birthday, a Tuesday evening, for drinks and appetizers in the bar area. The gentleman working valet was very respectful and professional and while I can take or leave valet in most cases, he definitely added to the upscale experience of the entire night. Upon seating ourselves at a high-top, both bartenders on shift greeted us with huge smiles and very warm hello's. They are familiar faces to my wife's family and were genuinely happy to see us. Unfortunately, we learned my wife's family's favorite server, Debbie, recently retired but great for her! The bartenders were fabulous themselves. Service, personability, mixology skills were all top-notch. They fit the sophisticated vibe of the restaurant perfectly. We started with drinks of course! A Stoli Elit Martini with a twist, a Dirty Martini, an Apple Butter Old Fashioned, and a Tito's and Club. The drinks came out beautifully. Smooth, chilled. I ordered the Apple Butter Old Fashioned as I was intrigued, but skeptical. While I thought it was good, I'd prefer a regular or Smoked Old Fashioned to the Apple Butter. My wife loved it though. We ordered lots of food to split and each appetizer we picked was as good if not better than the next. The Tuna Nachos fresh and had a tropical, savory flavor with pineapple mixed in. The Kona Tips were tender, full of flavor coming from the Kona crust and sautéed mushrooms/onions, and were served in a skillet full of sauce perfect for soaking up with bread. I actually liked the Kona Tips appetizer more than I liked the Kona Crust I got on my NY Strip I ordered last year (the Strip was great I'd just prefer no Kona crust on the entree). The Flatbread De Jour was a Kona Tip flatbread, which you may call us crazy for ordering two Kona Tip inspired appetizers, but the Kona Tips are just that good. The Oysters we had were small (just how I like them) and were up there with the best Oysters I've had. We finished up with Fried Calamari. They were lightly battered, fried nicely, tender, and served over a bed of different hot peppers (when I say hot, I mean it!). Everything was delicious and there wasn't one appetizer we chose that I wouldn't order again or recommend to others. We did order a few more drinks throughout the night -- another Elit Martini and a Hendrix Martini with the appetizers and then Bailey's on the rocks and Frangelico on the rocks as after dinner, dessert drinks. We ordered a Brownie Sundae for the table for my wife's birthday while she was excused from the table and the bartender brought it out with a lit candle. The bartender also brought out a complementary miniature Crème Brûlée for my wife as she acknowledged The Chop House's Crème Brûlée as one of her favorites earlier in the night when we were talking about the menu. I thought the entire night went as good as you could have hoped. Valet, bar service, food, drinks, desserts, atmosphere. Everything was amazing and most importantly my wife had a great birthday. This is two years in a row we celebrated her birthday at The Chop House and I wouldn't mind seeing this turn into her birthday tradition.

It consisted of 4 cuts of steaks and my favorites were the filet and ribeye. They were seasoned perfectly and grilled medium rare. Our sides were mashed potatoes, CH hash browns, and grilled asparagus. The weakest link was the asparagus which were small in size but still tasty. I will definitely be back based on service, food and value. This is a perfect restaurant for celebrations, dates and casual dining. Definitely a gem of a restaurant. Will be back sooner than later.
